Explaining it after the fact is the easy part but seeing it during inspection then executing it so smoothly at a blistering high speed is the hard part or the genius part. Yep he is now a certified genius in my book 🙂👍
Other than the single ifself, this avg had WR potential since he got to U perm at 3.2-3.3 sec in that third solve and took some time to recognize and execute

Coming from an Asian background my understanding is that the physical “abuse” shown is typically for disciplinary purposes. (Of course I still think it’s wrong and physical violence shouldn’t be used on children) but Yiheng didn’t do anything wrong. He just didn’t “solve well enough”. He’s literally a world record holder, at 9 years old. His mother is just showing terrible parenting and for you to say “if you would cancel her cancel all of Asia” is very broad and disrespectful in my opinion. Not all Asian households are like that.
He coulda ended with a pll skip if he did the fourth foutrth pair of f2l in another another way with low 3 beating max park’s 3.13 tho, but still great solves🎉
