You've probably also heard Rihanna using that Ma Ma Se line in her song, Don't Stop The Music. It's such a recognizable and iconic line in the history of music.
This is the biggest album in history The best selling album of all time, incredibly remarkable in pop culture, almost every song is a major *major* hit worldwide. Not to mention the trinity "Thriller, Billie Jean, Beat it", some of the biggest songs of all time as well.
Michael wrote this in 1979 you can look up the demo Thrilelr is the best album of all time and still remains after 40 years cant wait for more THRILLER REACTIONS!!! YEAHHHH
Off the wall is my all time favorite album. Michael recorded Thriller when he was 24. Off the Wall he recorded when he was 20/21. I am having a blast watching your reactions!
Your reaction had me smiling with you to the end. With this song MJ lashes out at those who take advantage of him. They eat off of you, you're a vegetable.
I'm sorry but i can't help my self i need to get this off my chest , you're so cute specially when you were dancing to the "you're stuck in the middle " part 😭😭🤍
This song says somethin's amazing is coming your way 😊 I have such great memories of my parents buying this album and our family listening to it together. I have the album images permanently etched in my mind.
Okay, starting with Thriller era 🙌🏾. This song is really catching and is more when you see it live. Until I read the lyrics I didn’t get that part where he says you’re a vegetable 🥕 I don’t know why I though he was saying you’re the best of all lol 😂
OMG what a song though it's funky and fire 🔥 imagine if they called it one of the funkiest songs of all time i love the phrase ma ma se ma ma sa ma ma makosa this song should have got a award for that thanks for reacting that I love it😊😊😊😊❤❤❤❤❤❤🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥and I love the lyrics as well
Love MJ! Off the Wall was my party tape both headed out and back home we played it. Now, to clarify, I did say “Tape” as in 8 Track Tape 😁. That was before CDs. 🤣
You will love the moonwalker version of Man in the Mirror as well. This how reactions should be, no staged stuff i like his free spirit and movement and dancing during these reactions this is how people feel no staged stuff. great job sire
I prefer his more recent albums where he sings about his problems in a clearer way, but it is always a pleasure to listen to the old songs and just have fun. Not that they are not deep, just more concealed. At least I need the lyrics to understand the majority of his songs.
He wasn't per say a writer Michael wrote the whole song in 1978-1979 he just helped compose it a bit michael did all the writing and chose the beat and sound.
@@jay-tc7weRod Temperton didn’t have anything to do with this song. He only wrote the title track, Baby be mine and Lady in my life on here. Temperton did not tend to co-write songs.
When he sings the word "breakdown," i feel like it's an imitation of james brown a little bit, or an homage to him. I could be wrong. Plus "you're a vegetable...they eat off you" is my favorite lyric Michael ever wrote. It is not the expected thing, it's quirky. He should've done more odd, surreal lyrics. But then he would not have sold so many records, right?

I love how you kind of lose your train of thought at the very beginning of the song as you become distracted by how "bloody good" it sounds! (0:20) "If you can't feed your baby, then don't have a baby." (10:47) This lyric clearly struck a chord in you. Have you thought about fatherhood? Baby Sephs?
When i was in my late teens i did actually realllyyy want children. But as i got older my mind started to change, then covid hit and that was the last nail in the coffin for me. What kind of life would my child have, what kind of world would they grow up in. Would they have to go fight in World War 3? Would they have to live through Covid 2.0? That and the fact im getting on a bit, i don't want to be picking them up from school and people mistaking me for their granddad ya know?
@@SephPlays Oh, yeah. Completely. And add to that climate change impacts. I don't think we'll be as lucky with the next pandemic, either. This is what happens when a species overpopulates. My older brother (straight) never married or had children. And obviously I didn't. I know this must have been a big disappointment to my parents who I think would have loved to have had grandchildren. I don't think I've heard you mention siblings, other than the occasional appearance of your evil twin. Do you have brothers/sisters?
It was a song for the times As an 80's teen, I could tell you there was a high teen pregnancy rate at this time. I think it is lower today. Maybe M J was starting something.
Unfortunately because of the copyright company BMG blocking all my erasure reaction video ive had to legally stop uploading them onto youtube 😢 it wasn't my choice i was forced to stop because of copyright infringement
