@@DaveMajor Great to hear from you Dave. Really loved your "accented triplet, triplet, double played as 16th's" exercise. As I'm not playing regularly these days, it's really helping redevelop the left hand dexterity that is easily lost with lack of regular playing. Also loved playing around with your "flow around the kit" exercises. And even your "five rudiments" vid has been a great deal of fun. Really love the fact that whilst none of these concepts are particularly new to me, you've managed to package so many tried and tested ideas up into some really fun exercises presented in a new format. I find many of your vids presented as an "old picture, in a new frame" if that makes any sense? Great stuff!! Really enjoyable mate. BTW, for reference I was Pocket Full Of Gold, on that forum. Doubt "Julian" will mean much to you, but perhaps you may remember my old forum tag.

Effectively you are playing constant 8ths on each hand so its like a sprinter working on their endurance running. Being able to play fast for a long period of time will help when you need to play fast!
