Finally a video about this, OLED is the best. Shame that no monitors are available yet. And this LG one has issues with brightness and has a matt finish which completely destroys the image quality, the Dough one seems to be the best one that will come in the future.

about the fps cap with g-sync and v-sync you dont need to cap 237fps its already doing it by itself and will be 4fps below monitor refresh rate

is better to set frame limit in the game than in the nvidia pannel, because setting that in nvidia panel give more latency

I used to be cracked on 60hz then slowly I started upgrading my peripherals until I fell a slope of being washed in games. My monitors I never picked the best choice so I didn’t hit the target for my needs. Until I found this beautiful monitor paired with my 6800XT and let me tell you my shoots arent being missed anymore

What big rumour? HDMI 2.1 is clearly ahead of the current Displayport 1.4. No rumours, google it yourself. 48 Gbps vs. 32.4 Gbps. Besides, 2.1 is truely relevant for Series X and PS5 consoles, since they support HDMI 2.1 and are lacking Displayport altogether. Dynamic HDR is also part of the HDMI 2.1 feature set. I think the only case that speaks for DP 1.4, is that it can handle more displays at the same time with higher refresh rates This favor towards HDMI will change however when Displayport 2.0 /2.1 gets introduced with it's whopping 80 Gbps. With this, 2x 4k in 144 HZ will be possible.

I have been thinking ever since both (Asus IPS 360 vs Asus OLED) were available in Sweden but in the end I chose the Asus ROG Swift PG27AQN because I play much more multiplayer than games that are focused on The Hogwarts and RDR2 type of games.

I've had the monitor for three days now. and use it for Remonde consoles. such a great picture. everything super fast. only the fan is annoying in quiet surroundings. you always have to have the sound on or wear headphones.

I have a quetions, i planning to buy 2 k oled and i think i ll choose asus oled 2k 27, does after a time of use it all still great and you no plan to switch on other oled monitors of corsair/acer/aoc? Or better to calmly wait them and choose best? Just correcting one of your "methods". Setting Nvidia's Low Latency Mode to Ultra + VSync to On will incur it's own framerate limit. You advised setting a framerate limiter.

Awesome review bro. I hope you can help me with this: ive followed every single vid of yours on how to optimize my pc for gaming, BUT: I play Apex locked on 220 fps, but ive noticed that when looking around my game or image sort of hitches without any frame drops according to my frametimes.. im starting to get crazy because i dont know whats causing this.. even playing Apex locked at 240fps the image is very jittery.. Alienware 27aw21d 4080 msi 5800x3d 16gigs of ram 3200 Nvme samsung ssd I really hope you can help me out😢

A buddy of mine helped me out with something similar, so I'll share. If you notice that this happens mainly when you move your mouse, then try turning of virtualization in your BIOS settings (it may be called something different, so just google what each thing means). I did this a few days ago and the only hitching I experience now is from me doing wanky stuff with G-Sync

did you ever get this fixed brother? i have a somewhat similar pc to yours and Apex feels the same way except on top of that, it also feel like shit when looking around because of it. almost feels sluggish even though i have amazing fps … it mainly only happens on apex though. sure some other games are bad here and there with the sluggish gross feeling when moving my mouse around but apex is the worse and the imagine hitches like you said

Response time on this monitor is fast. Faster than most monitors out there but that .3ms is just a gimmick. Average response is actually 3.1ms. Still lower than most ips and tn panels. These companies love to BS on their specs. Such a shame.

It’s probably not gonna make a huge difference lowkey since the 2k delay is just ass in general, the only thing u can really do for low input lag in 2k is Ethernet cord

The true response time isn’t actually .3ms. The average most consistent response time from this monitor is 3.1ms. Look up the review of this monitor on toms hardware. They always give in depth more detailed reviews on monitors. Almost every company just gimmicks their specs.

The Alienware QD-OLED has a quicker response time than this one. Surprising because it’s a wider and bigger screen and usually smaller screens have quicker response times.
