Very informative video. My B1/B2 visa expired in June 2020, so, one, can I get interview waiver, and, second, would I still be required to take an OFC appointment to get the biometrics done, which, I guess was done in 2010.

On DS160 confirmation it says photo will be taken at at ASC, now my only concern is ASC different than OFC appointment. Also any idea on how to request translator in advance, rather than asking at interview time?

Hello Ma'am, Thank you for this detailed video. I have 2 questions though - 1. Regarding dependents - if my husband and I are both working and are planning travel to US together, do we need to add dependents or should we book appointments separately? 2. I had a query - I have applied for VISA renewal today and got Interview Waiver as i have a current Valid US B1B2 Visa, so after Booking OFC appointment I do not get any option to select the date and time for Documents Drop off. Hello Mam, In the VFS payment portal, the Last name field is not taking any spaces in the names. My last name has a space in between. It throws an error that says "it doesn't accept any special characters" Have you encountered any such scenario?

Dear madam Your video was very informative and very well understood thank you very much for the same I have a particular issue I along with 2 dependents applied visa scheduling also did through an agent However information was incorrect and one passprt expired tried to correct and reschedule but one year of validity for payment asked us to pay again We were ready to pay and don’t want to go agent they’re not serious As per your video I tried a new one using same mailing id login which used agent But old data base is still alive I can’t change it Please advise

Hello! You are doing a great work. I had a quick question What if any applicant travels for leisure in between the DS160 form submission date and the interview date, and as it was not told in DS 160 about that recent travel, do I need to update the form?

Hello, yes since there will be an immigration stamp on your passport, questions may arise with regards to the recent travel. You can fill out a new form and take the both old and the new DS160 form confirmation page with you and submit it at the counter.

How do I edit the passport number on this website, I entered it wrong so I can move forward with the application, as my passport number was not accepting by the portal saying your information already existed. Thank you Shachi Mam for your time on making this video. I have watched the video completely till end. Whatever I do, I could not able to add my dependent to my profile. It keeps telling that the record already exists. The main thing is the problem occurs even after you close and start the new application altogether. When I try to enter My son as dependent, the error throws up. His Passport number doesn't showup basically, Only his Name shows up. No possibility of editing or deleting completely and adding newly.. Nope. Any suggestion is appreciated.

So while filing up the Form DS 160 and booking appointment, do i have to immediately book the available slots and then reschedule (prepone) when some random slots are opened. Please fill your DS160 first completely and the proceed with slot booking. Do not fall trap to this videos idea of partially filling your DS160, it's a scam and your will not only loose money, you might even loose your chance.

This is a question for Ms. Shachi. I scheduled my US Visa appointment for 23 April 2025 since there were no dates available for June 2024 when I submitted my Visa application. My question is: Can I reschedule to an earlier date, say 2024 June 29, if it is available. The confusion is caused by what VFS says on its website as follows: “You can reschedule your appointment (for a future date only) and up to a maximum of two times.” Another thing is contrary to what VFS says about the rescheduling option, you said in your RU-vid video that we can reschedule for four times. Once you have booked the appointment you can not change anything. You will have to create a new application all over again.
