I'm pretty new to the actual play series scene, but I've been putting in tons of effort into our weekly campaigns, but this channel was one of my big inspirations and actually got me to delve further into the TTRPG scene and it's quickly become my favourite hobby ❤️

Don't forget solo TTRPGs...would make your first time easier. I made a new year's resolution to be more creative and started making Solo TTRPG actual plays. It's defintely been a learning experience. I'm glad you mentioned about mics... I really need to work on that. Hopefully got some extra for snagging one this week. Thanks for the tips.

Hello Dicebreakers. I stumbled upon this video I wanted to say thank you because you've give me quite a bit to think about it. For some time now I have had aspirations of doing my own actual play podcast, even going as far as researching mic's cameras and other accouterment. Heck, I even have some people who would be interested in playing should i do this. I like the segment where you said doing this for money or fame is not the best motivation since the market is so saturated. Well, my reasons for doing this have nothing to do with either of those things. I refuse to play/run tolkienesque fantasy I would expect any viewership I received to be low. I have nothing bad to say about it it's just not my thing. But I'm hoping that maybe just maybe the 12 people in the universe. They have the same taste as I do. Will find any production that I create enjoyable. Your friend wheels had a great point. That doing an actual play is definitely different from my home game. And I should be mentally prepared for that. I have been GMing for nearly 40 years now. But as I have never done a podcast before so I still have much to learn and for that. I thank you for setting me on the path.
