You can try out these types of patterns with very minimal crochet skills actually. My mom basically forgot how to crochet and I had to teach her to make a granny square (similarly to how she taught me to crochet when I was little actually) and within a couple days she managed to pick up her rhythm again and started making complicated granny squares that she had never tried before. These complex looking designs usually aren’t very hard, they just take a bit more attention
Absolutely! It felt like a very quick and easy to finish project... until I had to join them! Each square feels like a brand new project and I learned so much too :)
Wonderful! So skillfull! Is this deisgn based on shelley husband's book granny square flair? I was trying to follow patterns but my tension has changed since i started a year ago! wish they had videos as some of the spiked stiches are confusing (it's well written just hard for a beginner to understand)
No need to pay! They are mostly free patterns on ravelry. I have list of links in the description of this video about I have made about how I made the blanket, found the patterns and adjusted them here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-zB3uFthfpPs.html If you have any other questions then just drop them in the comments and I’ll be happy to answer them 😊
It’s the culmination of many years building my skills. You’ll get there, I did an easy sampler for my second ever crochet blanket. It’s great for learning new skills!!
I’m having difficulty making the crown jewel square 😭☹️ I know it would probably be super extra but it would be helpful if you could make a video of how to make the squares! Or atleast the more difficult ones
Unfortunately I don’t want to risk infringing on other’s copyright so I only make tutorials for my own patterns or basic skills. If you want to message/email me I’m happy to try and help as best I can.
