If hair is cut below skin level, it is possible that it doesn't find its way out and becomes ingrown instead. If you shave with one blade, the hair is cut, but sometimes a part is missed, that's why people who shave with a single blade usually do more passes. If you shave with two blades, the second blade cuts the remaining hair part that the first blade missed while it is still standing up. A third blade can cut it even farther down, a fourth, fifth, sixth even farther. Five-blade razors are almost a guarantee for ingrown hairs. Gillette probably acknowledged this eventually because their newest razor, the SkinGuard Sensitive is a two blade razor. However, you don't have to buy those if you want to avoid ingrown hairs. If a DE razor is not an option for you, you can still buy blades for its older two blade systems: Gillette II (stiff handle), Gillette Contour (with or without pivoting handle) and Sensor. The handles for the first two can be a bit difficult to get, but there are always some on eBay.@@harrytully5837
We recommend shaving in the direction that's most comfortable with you. The Gillette ProShield has lubrication strips before & after the blades plus 5 blades, which means you won't have to shave the same spot twice - this and proper hydration should do the job.
I'll never have to worry about bumps from Gillette products, that's for sure, because they hate men, they're racists, and hopefully this is what they wanted to accomplish.
We don't recommend using shampoo on your face after shaving, but you may want to check out our aftershave products: gillette.com/en-us/products/pre-and-post-shave/skin-care-and-aftershave
@@blackthief3810 My dad is not a saint, he is an African-American Nigerian dad who teaches me how to shave like a man. Don't joke even if you have a dad in your family.
If your facial hair is short enough, then you don't need to use an electric shaver first. But if you want to use one to trim up before shaving, then we encourage you to do so!
Every Fusion ProShield blade delivers up to a month of shaves. To ensure a long-lasting lubrastrip, we recommend you store your razor in the included organizer tray or face up-away from damp surfaces.
Every man’s shave is different - some need more blades, some need less which is why we offer a variety of great options. You can find our blade comparison here: gillette.com/en-us/en-us/compare-shaving-razors-cartridges
Im kinda new to all this shaving stuff, but can someone tell me why he doesn't shave all the way? I thought you are supposed to shave until you can't see the hair anymore...
You will end up shaving a couple times over the same area in different directions, since your hair grows in all sorts of way. One tip to help manage in-grown hairs is to reapply shave gel between strokes.
To each their own my friend. If you're looking for a three-blade razor, you can find them here: gillette.com/en-us/products/razors-trimmers-and-blades/mach3-razors Thanks for watching and happy shaving!
We think shaving creams and gels both work great and offer a variety for you to choose from. Foam has a lighter consistency and rinses off quicker, while gel has a more rich consistency and can create a moisture barrier on your skin before shaving. You can find more info and our products here: gillette.com/en-us/products/pre-and-post-shave/shaving-creams-gels-and-foams
We have two kinds of aftershave, gel and lotion. Both provide moisture and soothe skin after shaving and you can use either. You can find specific information here: gillette.com/en-us/products/pre-and-post-shave/skin-care-and-aftershave
Another trick is find what of skin you have there dry, oily, sentive etc , how fast it grows ! Shave with respect to your skins needs in mind and if too long trim it first to zero and steam it with Luke warm water and exfoliate the area and wash it . If you like you do the entire face and neck as washing and exfoliation
How to avoid razor bumps with two easy steps 1. Hydrate face with warm water making sure that you're face is soft and the razor can glide softly across you're face 2. Leave youre neck untill the end as I found if u shave the neck first it can casue razor bumps.
No problem. Nice to comment on my suggestion about my razor bump problem. But mostly, when the Fusion pro shield is faded into white, I will used the Gillette Fusion razor.
No use single blaze razors called bump fighter, and bump patrol shave gel. Make sure to shave downwards it will work I promise! You can also use bump patrol aftershave to get rid of bumps
i miss the gilette after shave gel...not able to get in Denmark anymore for some reason and buying online same thing just due to european union law buying liquid substanse paranoid polititians..everything could be explosive
from the way he moves, it's clear he never shaved with a gillette razor in his life, he's a dumb model guy who most likely shaves with an electric razor
