Nintendo Almost Made an EVIL Peach - The Wapeach Story

Rosalina and Pauline would be an amazing doubles team.

The only character that I can see being an anti-Peach is Captain Syrup from the Wario Land series.

What's crazy about this is CAPTAIN SYRUP was literally right there. She fits as a rival to Peach. She's canocially stolen from Peach, she's associated with Wario and she's not named something artificially sweet while Peach is named after Peach.

Wapeach was finally revealed, and it looked like they were going for the Doronbo Gang/Team Rocket dynamic with Wario and Waluigi.

Seeing a evil peach in a Mario game would be very cool to see, but that would’ve mean that characters like Daisy, Rosalina, or Pauline wouldn’t have appeared at all. But maybe in a future game or spin-off would be interesting

I would be very interested if Nintendo ever gives proper bad versions of Peach & Daisy. I also believe that we ever get proper rivals for Peach & Daisy, then they won't be called Wapeach & Wadaisy. I came with my own names for them. Ripeach (Ripichi) = Waripeach (Waripichi) Rudaisy (Rudeiji) = Waludaisy (Warudeiji). Name combines Peach's & Daisy's name with Wari & Waru. Warui (悪い) = Bad Wari (割り) Waru (割る) To Split, Break, Crack. Emblems are broken 👑 & split 🏵. Unlike Wario and Waluigi both Ripeach & Rudaisy reverse their P & D (𐤧 & 𐤭).

There actually is an anti-peach but only Wario encountered her. Spoilers for an obscure game. So basically in Wario Master Of Disguise the game follows this premise of Wario being sucked into a show. Throughout the course of the game Wario is trying to get these things known as the Wishstones. As he does so he butts heads with the game's primary antagonist Count Cannoli who later joins forces with another thief known as Carpaccio. Partway through the game Wario meets up with this woman known as Tiaramisu. She looks a bit like Peach but wears a red dress and sports a fan she often holds in front of her face. She also seems to be infatuated with Wario and unlike Peach who just shows subtle hints of her crush on Mario Tiaramisu takes zero effort to hide it. And considering how our favorite antihero only is willing to benefit the greater good for his own ends (Treasure) he really doesn't care all too much of her advances. Partway through the game though it's revealed that there was a demon and the Wishstone sealed the demon's power. At the climax of the game the Peach like character who was with Wario reveals her true colors as the demon and was using Wario to restore her power. She then assumes her true form which makes the resemblance to Peach all the more apparent wearing a pink dress and a crown. This results in a rather entertaining boss fight where Tiaramisu now known as Terrormisu starts to don masks which is a clever reference to the different vibes of Super Princess Peach causing her to change into different demonic forms. In order Wario fights the gloom form, the joy form, and the rage form. After all three forms are defeated Terrormisu's face cracks revealing it too was a mask showing her true face as being somewhat fat and having swollen lips and tired eyes. (With a face like that it's no wonder she loved Wario). With one last stomp Wario defeats Terrormisu and she's stripped of her power. She retreats back to her dimension and the curse on Goodstyle is lifted. Wario gets his treasure but realizes he couldn't take it out of the TV when he leaves it ending the game on a rather funny note. This isn't the last we see of the demon though. After beating the game the special missions are unlocked. These are basically time trials that push your skills at the game to the limit. The final one lo and behold involves Tiaramisu. She challenges Wario and Cannoli to a competition the winner gets to keep the jewel of her dimension. If you do this you get the game's true ending where it's revealed that the "jewel" was Tiaramisu who wants Wario's affection. This results in Wario just noping his way out of there not wanting anything to do with her. This was probably the closest we got to an anti-Peach. It's sad really she only appeared in one game. And a very obscure one at that. Because had she been a recurring character I could see her being love rivals with Wario's other love interest Mona.

Imagine if Wa Peach met Bowser Jr. I could see there being a one sided puppydog romance between the 2. Either she's like the Amy Rose to Bowser Jr's Sonic or Bowser Jr is in a simular problem with his Dad where he has feelings for a girl who isn't in to him but she's a villian like him! Oh sure when they get older then things could change but when their kids....you know kids are. sometimes boys just ain't into mushy stuff and the girls like them. Or you got times when you got a small boy who has a crush but the girl is being a snob or even takes advantage of his feelings. Maybe these 2 even wind up being like their friends but also rivals. They would compete with each other when not working as an evil duo to fight other heroes. I THINK IT MAKES SINCE to pair her up with Jr. It would also make since to see her hang out with Wendy Koopa. Her and Wendy Koopa would probably be simular but differant from another. I also seeing her being the type to pull evil pranks on people. How about you guys what kind of a little imp do you think WaPeach would be?

12:54 Magikoopas experiment with and attempt to steal the shell magic of yoshi's Island. Part of their training includes Toadies becoming disfigured, that's the whole process of Koopa lifecycle of becoming the King Koopa, with most perfectly fused shell, and Koopalings got really close. Until they got disowned for Bowser Jr. being almost perfect. Birdo is just the same having been done to a yoshi, that's why she has the same power as snifits. She just doesn't wear a mask because she defects from the Koopa troop, thugh her "evil" personality is still a good match there. Yoshi is just chill about everything so it doesn't even cause a problem.

Honestly, giving Peach an antagonistic rival would actually make an interesting dynamic. She could even be that character that pretends to be affectionate and sweet towards others to manipulate them to her side and would definitely try to turn the others against the Heroes (especially Peach and Mario). Heck, maybe even have her be named as artificially sweet thing, as Peach is named after something that’s naturally sweet.

There were actually a lot of characters who didn't have natural partners in this game. Toad had no one, Baby Mario was thrown in there. Bowser didn't have a natural partner until a couple years later now that I think about it. This game was also a huge jump for Boo as well

11:17 I consider most of these so fake because they were made by AI and not real artists. Kind of rude to put someone's real work next to a concept made by AI. And yes, while it is a concept, that just makes it worse because its mixed together with a prompt you put into a machine that spits out the result ending up with a samey look that gives away the AI art, and with people who went out of their way, used their time on this world, to make concepts such as these. Keep in mind this is my opinion, and it is a very controversial talk, but I still think it could have been done better than just plopping in random art you found/generated. And yes, I know about google images' state right now. It could have also been found just by looking up the prompt.

I think it's funny that you think that waru peachi hasn't been in any games but you're completely wrong. She makes a cameo in a comic in Mario Odyssey. And she's a playable character in a fan game using the design from the manga soooo, yeah.
