And in the era of DRS Pak legends wouldn't be able to do any ball tampering ,no cheating after second bump of ball by Moin khan etc also and all the wrong decisions against Sachin would also not happen.

2:36 , Sachin was clearly plumb Lbw. Waqar never bowled well on flat pitches ,even though he was quick. Early 90s , in Sharjah flat pitches Also 1996 Wcup quarter final in Banglore vs India He needed reverse swinging ball to take wickets. Wasim could bowl well on both batting and bowling pitches.
He played most of his cricket in flat wickets.and his record was even better then waseem.specially before his injuries.waqar is also one of greatest of all time.much underrated
He was the highest wicket taker in 1996 wc till quarter final. Even in quarter final his figures were outstanding in first 7 overs. He was lethal on flat wkts bcz he was quick in the air and got the surface out of the equation. He had a natural outswinger with the new ball, which helped pick wickets with the new ball. Don’t think so , he came back strongly in 2003 World Cup against the likes of Waqar, Wasim and Shoaib . Even in 1999 Chennai test against reverse swing he scored 136 . 1999 World Cup he score close to 50 . He did well against Pakistan , of course he did better against Australia as they were best by leaps and bounds
He played half of his one day career with red ball that was the biggest achievement if he would play the whole one career with white ball then made 20 centuries more in odi.
Lot of Sachin fans say that he would have scored more runs had there been DRS in his time, but he also got benifitted at times, with no DRS.. Here is one such example

This was perhaps the greatest over bowled in ODI history if you look at the complete context. Hitting the pads of one of the greatest batsmen in history on 4 consecutive deliveries is no joke. Twice it was plumb !! Remember Sachin hit his ODI peak from 94 onwards and had a fabulous WC few months back.

@@OurGurujiOG For me twice it was plumb. But regardless of this debate just consider the fact how one of the greatest batsman of all time was beaten on 4 consecutive deliveries. How many times in history has this happened that a great player has had LBW appeals on 4 consecutive deliveries.
It was a result of excessive appeal . I had seen this match live. Beasuse of weather and the drop in pitch . Toranto was always unplayable for batters and Ganguly was more dangerous than any one else.

You saw it in the 2019 World Cup when Gayle was dismissed off what was supposed to be a free hit after vociferous appealing previously by the Australians. You saw it throughout the 90s as well with Australia and New Zealand who appeared to employ it deliberately as a tactic

Very rare occasion, sachin was lucy that day.normally sachin tackle smoothly Waqar .saqlain and wasim mostly got wicket of sachin .Anyway that day sachin got umpire blessing.
I can guarantee if that was Brian Lara, he’d have been sent on his way on the first shout. He’s never been as fortunate when coming to umpiring decisions, especially in England and Australia

Waqar Younis got wrong decision in his favour at Perth 2000 against Tendulkar. These things happened in cricket without drs technology as on field umpire had to check for front foot no ball for every delivery, and then instantly look up and give due consideration to the appeal before making a decision in real time.. During those days Pakistani bowlers were unplayable, they tampered ball and reverse swung . Until Imran khan disclosed the art of reverse swinging in his book no one knew . It wasn’t a fair play since batsmen were unaware of reverse swing .
