Waqar was never super quick like Ahktar, Tait and Lee. What he did have was that swing. I don't think there is any bowler that could swing the old ball as well as he did. He was the best at it. Swing > Pace

@@pacus123Waqar was just as quick as Akhtar unfortunately there were no speed guns available when Waqar was in his prime before his double stress fracture to his lower back / Waqar was totally unplayable between 1990-1992 / even after his comeback he was still extremely quick this is after he had to remodel his bowling action to support his lower back injury / after 1996 he would bowl quick in spells and when needed otherwise to prolong his career he dropped his pace - Shoaib Lee and Tait never has serious career threatening injury if they did they also would of dropped there pace to ensure they have a long career
