Blue means peace, Red means at war, Three star in the sun symbolize the three major island Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. Even the white and the eight rays of sun has a meaning in Philippine flag. Theres an incident were our boys scout accidentally flip the flag during flag ceremony and then china gets angry and reacted saying we are planning to go to war. You can search in the internet news.
