Well according to Google , Iron Patriot mark 2 is actually War Machine mark 5. It was kept in storage only for emergencies. However Rhodey mostly wore the mark 6 for 5 yrs in post blip earth.
The ex wife missile does work, it's just not meant to be used like the way it was .it was meant to be fired for long ranges and uses that kinetic energy to penatrate and detonate it, hence the name "kinetic kill sidewinder". This can be seen in the scene where hammer shows of the weapons. If it had worked all of them would have died lol
Finally, a video that showcases an underrated character. But hey Rhody is one of my favorites and i think Mark 6 was the strongest War Machine Armor enabling him to knock out Quill even with his thick skull. 4:06 🤣
I love how Rhodey only got 10 suits because he cares and tries not to damage it , and there goes Tony Stark, blowing off all of his suits in Iron Man 3
But his powers wasn't unlocked yet. He didn't know he had these powers so it showed no trait until he was at the verge of death when he held the power stone. then his powers was fully unlocked when he got to know about it.
if he's gonna appear in Falcon and the Winter Soldier, hope we get to see him with his new suit. He didn't get much action screen time in Endgame after all.
My favorite had always been the actual first War Machine that Hammer weaponized in Iron Man 2. That thing was just a BEAST....and then here comes the Battle of Wakanda and the Mark 4....and then I REALLY fell in love with it!!!
War machine suits: Mark 1: iron man Mark 2 weaponize Mark 2: iron man 3/age of Ultron Mark 3: team stark/leg braces Mark 4: walking injuries/infinity war Mark 5: the blip suit/5 years after the snap time skip Mark 6: time heist suit/quantum time travel suit Mark 7: iron Patriot battle mode suit Col James Rhodes variants: Mark 1 Mark 2 Iron Patriot suits: Mark 1 Mark 2
I would love to see a "Hulkbuster" edition of Rhodey's armor. If Tony have already nano tech, from the Ultimate version of his armor on Endgame imagine a "tank transition"(like the bulky Terran tanks assault mode of Starcraft) when the nanotech build around him a superbulky armor like a supercanon or a super weapon station, would be so cool
there was a hulk buster version for war machine but it was never used because lego revealed it in a set and thus ruining the surprise. It was supposed to be worn by Banner in the Battle of Wakanda but they changed it to the normal hulk buster for the above reason.
02:11 the Mark II appeared as the Iron Patriot first since Iron Man 3 came out in 2013.. and then as regular War Machine in Age of Ultron which came out in 2015 (chronologically Iron Man 3 was right after the first Avengers film)..
Um... the mark 2 DID first appeared in war machine colors, not iron patriot colors tho. Did you read the iron man 3 prequel comic? Of not, then explain why you haven't read them?
Am I the only one who thinks War Machine's design is much cooler than Iron-man's? I mean, yeah, basically he's like Iron-man but with guns attached. But something about his design, especially with his Black/Gray color scheme that speaks "Brutal & Menacing" for me, and I think that's freakin' cool. Really looking forward to Armored Wars.
Personally, my favorite War Machine Armor was the Mark 7, followed by the Mark 4. There's actually concept art of the Mark 7 in War Machine's color scheme, if I remember, the decision to add the Iron Patriot color scheme was a last-minute change when the main artist for the Mark 7 had to move on to Rise of Skywalker
It's the opposite. The War Machine Mk 2 comes first. Then AIM had some updates for it such as the painture and downgrades. Then it is turned into War Machine back til AoU
There is a comic telling the history between Iron Man 2 and Iron Man 3 about the War Machine. Tony created the War Machine Mk 2. During the New York attack, Rhodes is in Japan I think and he is already using the War Machine Mk 2 since there
I hate it when similar suits are made for seemingly no reason like warmachine mark 5 and 6, they could have stuck to 4 until endgame final battle, I have the same issue with some of the ironman suits after mk7
The ex-wife missile is a shame. Hammer specifically mentions its a kinetic-kill weapon. Meaning it's not explosive. It's basically a super dense bullet that needs to be launched as fast as possible to inflict damage. It's usually a theorized type of orbital weapon. Take a big dense chunk of metal up in to orbit. Position it over your target. Drop it. Instant nuclear bomb with none of the radiation. The launch device used on the suit either failed to accelerate it fast enough, or that weapon was designed to be launched while moving at high speeds already. Either way, it wasn't the ex-wife's fault.
3:42 A problem with this one, which you called "Mark 5", is that it's not. It wasn't shown on-screen, because it was scrapped and became only a Concept Art. Therefor it is not counted to the roster. ARTs were released, because they were giving out all of the Concept Arts for both "Infinity War" and "Endgame". What you called "Mark 6" was the actual "Mark 5", as it has replaced the one they decided to scrap.
Mark 2 and infinity war suits are the best looking and also cool showings. Eagerly waiting to see the endgame final suit in action in armor wars and i prefer it in black
Out of all of Rhodey's suits, the Mark 1 War Machine armor will always be my favorite. I love the color scheme, and the angular bulk makes it look very practical. Mark 2, kinda meh to me. It's not bad in terms of appearance, especially once the Iron Patriot color scheme is gone. Just one of those "middle of the road" deals where you can take it or leave it. It's just a little bit too sleek and rounded at the edges for my liking. Mark 3, somewhat better than the Mark 2 as far as its aesthetics appeal goes. We return to the roots of a somewhat angular, bulky appearance that lends to the notion of it being practical. Mark 4, more bulk without being excessive, and there are certainly aspects of it that I like, but I prefer the Mark 3 as far as the overall presentation goes. Mark 5, bit like the Mark 2 in being a "middle of the road" deal. Mark 6, try as I might, I just can't bring myself to like this incarnation of War Machine. It's just ugly in a way I can't appreciate it, especially in the face around the forehead region. Mark 7, it looks like Tony took inspiration from the Gundam Heavyarms Custom from Endless Waltz. It's big, bulky, intimidating looking, and doesn't look very practical. The chest area alone looks like it's too big for Rhodey to get his arms into the suit's arms. Just too ugly even for my tastes to justify/defend.
See this video is exactly why we need War Machine added to The Avengers game, can you imagine all of these skins available for Rhodes! Mark 2 and 4 are my favorites!
Look up to civil war 2 on comicstorian RU-vid channel, tony while fighting Captain Marvel got a hulkbuster looking like war machine, it’s the closest I think we can get to a WarMachine Hulkbuster.
All war machine suits: Mark 0 (iron man Mark 2) (0:22) Mark 1 (0:45) Mark 2 (1:14) Mark 3 (2:10) Mark 4 (2:37) Mark 5 (concept art) (3:19) Mark 6 (quantum time travel) (3:46) All iron Patriot suits: Mark 1 (1:44) Mark 2 (war machine mark 7) (4:37) Walk machine (5:12) Col. The ex wife mission wasn’t a dud, rhody didn’t know how to use it properly as he would’ve had to be going supersonic speed for it to work and even if it did work it would’ve killed him and Tony as well
