Yep and they screwed him over in the third movie lol. for that Iron Patriot BS (basically Iron Captain America) I mean it made sense but it was still dumb. and then they pour salt on the wound at the end by not giving Rhodey a suit. 😫
(Sam Bradley) if you mean by this point then it would be like iron man 2 when Tony was trying to figure out what to do with himself with the poisoning.
Hell yeah. If you look at the specs for it, the VTRB was stacked. Heavier armor, improved flight thrusters, etc. - powerhouse. That said, the MK. III (Civil War) is pretty beast, but I like the VTRB better. If they could combine the two - bulk and firepower - that'd be sick.
+John Nemesis just arequest, can you please upload the fight scenes of laurel as blakc canary on arrow, bobbi morse on agents of shield. Pls upload this videos and combine their figth scenes in every season. Seperate black canay's fight scenes from bobbi morse's.
Im just suprised her could fire for so long, destroying cars, robots etc. Where the hell does he store all that ammo. (keep in mind that it looks like an M134, which fires 4000 rounds per minute). He fires that thing + 2 machine guns in his arms for quite a while during that movie.
War Machine's armaments seem to be more conventional ballistic and missile weapons, it seems more suited to taking on large numbers of standard weaker opponents, as opposed to the tougher enemies that are super powered, against another Iron Man I don't see any of his weapons being useful except melee.
It seems like it judging by what the movies show. Iron Man can survive a tank blast without damage and is impervious to gunfire. War Machine's firearms however could shred Ultron Clones and Hammer Drones like they were paper.
The original Variable Threat Response Battle Suit Mark I was a version of the Iron Man armor utilizing laser guided munitions. Stark gave Rhodes a modified version of the armor, Mark II Model JRXL-1000, created just for him with the inclusion of repulsors and a unibeam projector. The armor could be modified with various modular weapons and has an improved tactical computer system with automatic targeting. Additional weapons included pulse bolt generators, retractable shoulder minigun, variable-configured double-barrel cannons on each gauntlet, gauntlet mounted flamethrower, plasma blade on the left gauntlet, missile box launcher, micro-rocket launcher, particle beam discharger, and an electromagnetic pulse generator in the unibeam projector that could shut down any electronic device in a 50-mile radius. The armor also included a photon emitter that created a force shield, forcefield-based stealth technology, boot-jet propulsion, and a self-contained breathing system. The second version of the armor, reconfigured by Stark, contained upgraded improvements such as heat seeking missile launchers, pulse cannon, and retractable weapon pods located on its back
DaringDanny Both suits are insanely similar.. One just loaded with weaponry. Tony has missiles and bullets as well. Both have repulsors, while only tony so far has been shown with the red laser thing.
i think the people who say that are dc fans grasping at straws lol to counter there are tons of moments of bad cgi in batman v superman lol in a movie that uses mostly cgi
This thing's been bugging my mind. Iron Man 1: Tony survives getting shot by a tank shell in the face mid air and landed on concrete, gets up with few scratches on the face plate. Tony is perfectly fine. Civil War: War machine gets shot by vision's beam in mid air, landed on a grass field. Suit is deactivated but still protected, but.... Rhodes is paralysed from the waist fron the impact. The suits are built better after each sequel right? Someone please illuminate me about this.
i think b/c in Iron Man 1, tony's suit is still active so he might have some control over it, also it is probably able to handle the impact. In civil war, war machine loses power completely and can't handle the landing as well. I don't know if this is true or not, but it seems like it would make sense.
With the suit completely disabled, it's like falling in a metal coffin. I'm pretty sure the same thing would happen if the mark 3 was hit by Vision's beam. Vision's beam comes from an infinity stone and was a major contributor to melting vibranium. Vision's beam>>>>>tank shell in concentrated damage.
Altitude and the suit was turned off. I'd say it has systems that provide more protection for the body when functioning because he also blacked out from the fall. Also in Iron Man 1 Tony was flying lower at the time since he was attacking that area where as in the scene where Rhodes fell they were much higher since they were chasing Cap in the plane. So no power plus a higher fall equals a broke Rhodey.
The fact that all War Machine scenes can be condensed into about 6:30 at this point (including Infinity War and Endgame now) is just sad. War Machine unloading on multiple targets like in Iron Man 2 and during the Battle of Wakanda is just awesome incarnate.
No ex-wife scene? The scene in IM 2 where Rhodey fires his shoulder mounted bunker buster mini missile at Vanko. Yeah it was a dud but it could've added to his arsenal of weapons in IM 2.
How abt covering compilations for Hawkeye and Falcon? I noticed you hadn't covered them yet. Esp the underrated Agent Barton who has a wide variety of trick arrows.
In the infinity war, before the arrival of thor, war machine was killing almost all the enemy army. When war machine got down then steve, black panther and hulk buster all were surrounded by villains till thor came to save them. This shows the importance of war machine
I wasn't questioning his choice (it was probably the most obvious) but he seems to have built no relationship with Cap's Avengers despite working with them for a whole year. It doesn't help that he isn't in the Lagos set-piece.
Vibranium Shield The one from iron man 2 had exactly the same amount of weapons in the suit, he just never pulled them all out at the same time like he did in the airport scene which btw looked really cool and was the only cool thing war machine did in this movie, he got owned pretty bad by pretty much everyone.
Victor Escalante One of those weapons didn't work on the IM 2 suit. This (Mark 3) War Machine's shredded that structure that Giant Man swung at him. IM2 suit could only hope to cut that structure in half or riddle it with holes.
Victor Escalante Oh really? Huh, why don't you stop doing the very thing you're accusing me of then? You didn't counter anything with facts and just went on the offensive.
rhodey's character is just super lucky. imagine you, a soldier, just friended with a billionaire that makes suit and he gaves you one, you just practically wore a humanoid tank / war battle weapons embedded in your body. a living tank. hence, a war machine. the design and color schemes really gives me the vibes of what a weapon of war should look like.
