There was often a deal of battlefield confusion when the blue coat was worn by both Union and Confederate troops. Probably because pre-Civil War uniforms were (lighter) blue, like what you see during the US-Mexican War, but also some Confederate regiments stubbornly refused to give up their traditional blue jackets. in the 'funny moments' video, your Southern comrades mistook you for a Northerner - although it was funny hearing them in a panic, stabbing at you 'through' the door! The Butternut appeared once uniforms began to wear, became patched or replaced by whatever came to hand, often civilian clothes. As the war progressed, Confederate replacements (both in men and uniforms) were few and far between. The situation became so desperate that the Federal government actually allowed for this shortage and didn't shoot any Butternut prisoners as 'spies'. BTW, I love the

I am thinking of getting this game, but was wondering how the chain of command is determined. I really want to become an officer after getting acquainted the mechanics. Does it have to do with how much you "donate" or is it who ever gets it first on each battle? Maybe something entirely different?
It was written in 1863; since all copyrights before 1923 have expired by now, this puts the original song in the public domain. You can do with it what you wish. However, note that this applies just to the original song. Any recorded cover versions are considered derivative works, and they will likely carry their own copyrights -- take note of the copyright information on any recordings you want to use, if you are in fact using recordings. Anything pre-1923 is fine; anything after that could potentially be copyrighted.
When you are aiming, I saw that you also zooming. How do you do that? It seem to give you a great advantage... I dont know how to zoom in that game like you do. BTW, great videos.
Ah, a splendid recreation of the somewhat idiotic decision by General Ambrose Burnside to charge his men across a narrow bridge in full view of the enemy, giving his name to the structure. Apparently he was at it for over an hour before someone got the idea to cross a flanking party further downstream... 9_9 P.S. - I'm not very familiar with the game. Do flag bearers give stat bonuses (e.g. faster reload or increased hit points) to nearby allies like in Holdfast: Nations at War?
Luck of the Irish had a whole other meaning during this time period considering they fled the potato famine only to end up fighting a civil war in the US
You ran away from your post?,... You job is to leaded men in to battle with out getting killed or capture, do a good job your Commanders & Soldiers alike will respect you, 😎
General Cody HD I have been looking at your channel and you are great, RU-vidrs need to stick together so I am going to give you a shoutout on my channel tonight or tomorrow. Feel free to check out my channel.
You abandoned your company every time, sometimes in mid fight. Sprints away while they are engaged and ask why they aren't following. You were cowardly and running without purpose in this one. Strangely, you make a better leader than soldier.
This game will be obscure after 3 months if it even launches, when you go on to play when you can, and there are 50 of the same people playing all the time
They are more or less just things that would be nice i think like having banners set up in areas so if you raise your flag their your troops can spawn their and a question about the confederate Side is it just about the army of northern Virginia because if not I think their should be more confederate battle flags because the confederacy had a lot many of which were quite pretty and how the flags are held by banner carriers when they run it would be nice if when they run and run only it changes from pole facing forward to pole facing back shows the flag better
General Cody HD you have me really interested in this game I would love to help make it the best it can be although I don't have very much money I can offer advice
