Why do so few of the constables wear their id numbers on their shoulder epaulettes as required ? The PC who assaulted the homeless man doesnt display any shoulder numbers and refuses to ID himself on request.

@@juniusvindex769 - different police forces use different terminology and style of display of numbers. The only consistency is that it must be displayed on the outermost layer of clothing worn by plod. A lot of female plod tend to cover their numbers with a jacket, especially when the are not with a male plod or in a gang. Have you ever noticed that ? If they don't have a number, they must produce a Warrant Card with their details, name and rank. Plain cloths female plod never do this, it's some sort of entitlement - so you can tell them to go away, back to the kitchen. It is also Police policy that you don't address members of the public with your hands in your pockets, wear sunglasses except on medical grounds and don't chew gum. That's most plod these days.
That copper is a little man with a big complex: arrests the homeless not using reasonable force, swears, shares private information, won't identify, and clearly is stressed so he is not in control.

Because protesting isn't against the law. And yes we should be holding the government to account and tax payers money goes into the elites pocket if it was spent publicly we wouldn't have a NHS that is on its knees a social housing crisis a high rate of homelessness that climbs higher as each year passes child poverty is at a all time high and with crippling food and energy bills rising at a alarming rate it will only get worse. Instead of investing in our infrastructure this government implemented fake austerity measures when one wasn't warranted that why this country needs a revolution to get the corrupt government out of office and a governing body that works for the people not the other way round and thats all people inclusive and the only thing that is odd is that you don't see this.
What they dont get is that we actually don't give a toss about what's happening a couple of thousand miles away, nothing to do with us but we have to listen to their demented screaming and suffer the disruption that is caused by their protests. Respect for anyone has gone from this country over the past few decades, and thank goodness I don’t live in Swansea. It’s nice to go shopping in a quiet civilised town, not having these people disturbing our peace every week. These people are calling the shots, the police are only trying to do their jobs, and receiving abuse from these ‘guests’ we have let take over our country.
