Quick question, for the Beginner's Shop, is it worth to get the "Unit Enhancing Pack" that contains the Rainbow Vision Sphere for 60 lapis (1 per day limit)? I just finished my reroll and was wondering because in the last video you posted, you said you had bought everything in the shop (of course the lapis items had a daily limit) so I was unsure if you did get them and they just reset. You did mention to buy Rainbow Fragments and Vision Spheres with gil when possible.

Glad to see you’re using the global account as a F2P, it’ll be cool to see the contrast between this and your paid account in JP. I’ve been loving the game myself, but trying to take it somewhat slow and enjoying the story.
I think the biggest reason they say he makes Sterne obsolete has less to do with Orlandu being OP and more with Stern having a massive glaring weakness: he is so fragile. Orlandu is just a very well rounded unit, and other than the evasion meta, he really just checks all the boxes. You are right that there are times where different elements will be better, but since we can only really pick one character to focus on per element atm, if you are min/maxing it would be better to go for Orlandu + Xiza than using resources on Stern. This doesn't even bring in the fact that Gafgarion is just SO much easier to max than Stern. One other thing I don't hear enough people mention is while, YES, limited units require a massive investment in a very short time period, your payoff for that investment is they are fully limit broken INSTANTLY. You will actually be able to max limit break Orlandu with proper saving before Stern even though Orlandu isn't released yet...

Good video thank you! I am currently building Sterne, I am really thinking about 4th awakening to access the ninja class - but today I just pulled xhiza? The dark UR thief girl - she is also a dark element so not sure if I should build one or which would be better to focus on?
Try to focus on unit of an element at a time. When Sterne gets to 79 you can start working on Jiza. Ninja is a great sub-job for Sterne, it makes him a good farmer!
Should I buy fragments for non limited characters with lapis, for xiza and mediana, or should I just save and do hard quest? Also which is better to focus on Fina or Phoebe for the light support slot? Also how do you have so many gil haha. I have too many questions sorry about that.
Hey, I just started out and kinda starting to get a feel for the game. I've been using Robb, Y'Shtola and Mont, and yesterday I pulled Gilgamesh and Xiza. Just now I pulled Sterne too! Now Sterne and Xiza are both Dark, so I don't want to invest in both. I was thinking Sterne would be the better play since he also does Slashing. You seem to use Xiza, is she good? Who do you recommend? Also, should I spend visiore to unlock the Chocobo Expedition unit slots?

Actually, my reasoning has everything to do with personal preference and just who I'm going for heavily first. If I pick up a few others along the way, then okay. I'm also very much worried for how the limited time banners will be. I'm not going to risk a damn thing on NOT getting Orlandeau. To me, it's that simple.
can you talk more about in depth strategy on building specific character ? like the one u did with mediana,sterne, ayaka etc. but make it more intresting by explaining how that character works in the meta right now or what character sync best with that.
You mentioned that there's going to be a raid boss light element. But I didn't understad about the chains that you are talking about, do I need just guys from the same elements and same damage type to make the chains? Can you elaborate? Thanks.
thanks for the vid! I was originally neglecting Y'shtola and going for Medi .. and have gotten Medi to 4 star lvl 45, but shards are hard to come by.. and your video made the great point with regards to them not competing. So my Y'shtola shards from competing all the quests have gotten me to her 3rd limit, there are 120 I can grab for 1.2 mill.. which now I will... but how do you get the remaining shards?? Ive gotta farm event currrency? what stage is best for that?
Hello Cabbage ! I really like your vids on Wotv and I would have a question. At the game's launch I rolled for Mediena like many people (mainly to get a farmer). So I'm focusing on enhancing her and all. But my real short term target is either Federica or Yerma wich, if I'm not wrong, are coming pretty soon. At the moment, my go to team is Mediena (mag dps), Endel (tank), Mont (phys dps), Robb (phys dps -> mainly for bravery increase at the moment) and Y'shtola or Fina. So my question is, who would you recommend me to focus on between Federica (could add a range dps/support) and Yerma (to swap Mont or Robb) ? I'm not aiming for any FFT character (not interessed in Old-man-du).
so you are saying that i should keep the account that has 5 ur (macheri,engelbert, sterne,robb,xiza)? its saved up just in case but since it didnt had mediena i was kinda skeptical

I have 20k lapis right now, and he is lvl 45 for me. Should i go all the way? I plan to be a dolphin.
I'm glad you cleared this up. A lot of people seem to be swearing by the "Flavor of the Month" Characters promised in the future. The game is out now. I don't want to not play the game and save 100% of my Lapis for a single unit that wont be here for a month or more. Great video as usual

@@cabbagechannel7874 Yes, Englebert makes sense due to Excalibur. He becomes a rather potential damage dealer. Now, a different question. I somehow managed to pull Thancred from 4 tickets. Would you as F2P level him up (at least to 3 starts) as a substitute to Aileen (also bad that he element-conflicts with Englebert) or concentrate on Y'shtola?

Lord Cabbage, I have Sterne and I'm thinking of buying the 120 shards with 6k Visiore. Good investment? Also around how much Visiore to get Thancred to 79? Taking into consideration I'd probably have to buy him with the 15k event currency. Hoping you can answer, and thanks for all the videos!
Sterne is great, I use him all the time in JP. As for Thancred, hopefully you can just use the 12,000 to buy his shards. Be sure to buy the 3 tickets every day and hope for Thancred
Honestly i really like the idea that not all characters are overpowering each other by a large margin and each have a role to play in a certain situations. Not sure if you play Arknights but in that game even the lowest rarity character is usable. I think we are already seeing that in global from the equipment raid for Yerma banner where all the enemies are weak against slash. This means we can use all characters despite their rarity/etc. But at the same time I feel like, in global at least, the game is not supporting that idea. That is because the way the game is set up right now wants us to focus on characters and build that character up instead of mixing and matching depending on situation. We have so little resources to build a character up that all of a sudden its not worth going all out on characters that will not be as strong. I feel like the game should find a middle ground and it has a lot of potential to do that. Not lightning quick meta changing like FFBE, although they've gotten a lot better since mid last year, but perhaps be way more generous about evolving materials while introducing more contents that require different setups. Then it will be a really fun and perfect game.
The way you pronounce Y shtola really gets to me x.x I always have to go "who is he talking about?" and yeah little leela as well. Honestly, you can do the EX missions for FFXIV. my characters are weaker than yours and i just had a good companion with me. For some of them, i had to pull 1 continue but i think most of them i managed to do them without a continue.
Thanks again for the new video, i think I've already seen all your Wotv relates videos. One question, my current team is Mediena, Ayaka, Xiza, Mont and Yshtola/Phoebe. The URs are at lvl 45 atm. Is that a good level to stop spreading mats and focus just on one character?
quick question, after you get all the shards for a character to max limit break, and you draw them again, what happens? does it give you excess shards? does something else happen?
What I am not finding that would be awesome is recommendations on builds for all these units, etc. No clue where to dump my JP etc. :) Stuck on how to build Sterne at the moment.

Just a question: When you max out a unit's level, do you start levelling up secondary units to fill their spot until you can awaken again? I'm curious when I should start spreading resources around instead of focusing in.
Xiza will be great, she’ll break the slash chains but she can continue the Dark element chain. At 6-star she gets Steal Time which is always useful in raids. Tanks won’t be needed in raids, it’s a race to see if you can do enough damage in a limited number of turns
My team is mediena, sterne, engelbert, mont and yshtola. I got xiza, should I swap engelbert to xiza since mont feels the same with engelbert? Is healer need? I got grace.
Hello. I got a question. How were you able to 4 star awaken your dark unit? I was about to awaken my stern and found out that I don't have enough fragment of thought. Did you buy some at the shop or obtained it only on quest? I only have 26 pcs and there seems to be no other quests available for me that gives these materials.

Light elemental Raid boss? As someone who got Sterne, Xiza, and Ayaka as my initial URs, I'm looking forward to that. Kind of a pain having 2 Dark users initially, but loving Sterne so far. Have him at level 50 and using his Dragoon subjob.

is there a fast way to got exp? and upgrade thing weapon? because rightnow i have really hard time riseing my team and i want to use many character because i got already ayaka from and red king in my 1st pull also what character that can easyly farm in gil snaper because 2 of my atker was fire it barely deal any dmg and death every time so i always farm in lower dificulty so i can auto it.
I have both Y'shtola and Mediena. My problem with raising them both is that they share the same materials to increase their stars. But I'll be getting Y'shtola's shards while I lvl up my Mediena. Curious, what have you been using your NRG on mostly?
i've decided 4 characters to level up for now, xiza, engelbert, y'shtola and mont. What should i get for 5th character? more damage? heal? support? im really lost =(
As someone farming hard for Thancred, he isn't worth it if you don't put a lot of effort into getting him. That being said if you are focused on getting everything you want/need its really doable, as the required level for the XIV EX conquest fight is over hyped (it suggests party level 60, I'm clearing it regularly in the low 40s) and drops about 200 tomes per clear. As Cabbage has said getting him to a high enough unbind to be able to eventually get him to 79 is pretty doable if you're focused, but higher than that will take some serious luck or cash.
Recently, i've pulled in 2 banners and now I have Stern and Macheríe. I spent 6000 visiores. I already invest materials in Yiza. What should I do? stay with Yiza or change to Stern?
When you do the event EX fights could you do a video with some tips on them? I managed to do the Conquest under the ex fights, but the first one is giving me a lot of trouble because of the cactaurs

Love the constant content! Do you have any idea why rank experience seems to have gone away? I've cleared the story and have been stuck at rank 41 with 3 exp to rank up for the better part of 24 hours.
Raising your rank is really tied to beating the Story and awakening/limit breaking your guys. If you don't do that, you stall, but new Story quests come out every 2-3 weeks

There are lots of good Light and Dark units so it’s tough to choose! If you don’t have an attacker Robb would be good. He’s the best of these three, I think
