Radical feminism doesn't exist, and those who call themselves that often use trans exclusionary rhetoric, and misandric rhetoric, and thus aren't feminists, but instead Feminist Appropriating Radical Transphobes (FARTs). I don't know what caricature of the left you think of when you hear socialist, but most are against gun control. ​@ You clearly want to talk about philosophy and at an abstract level to invalidate feminism and so the message this bands puts out. Okay, first of all maybe this is not the place to start that type of conversation, but if you insist on voicing your opinion against the message of this band, why not start with specific things you have issues with that were said here in this video specifically? You will probably get a better conversation out of it and I mean...if you truly pride *your* way of thinking about what is right, you probably owe it to actually use that type of thinking practically and be concrete and specific, showing through example that is it better, and not blurt out broad strokes that come off as haughty. I mean, you started this conversation to actually convince people and not just bully them, right? That said, I also don't think repeatedly trying to tie Marx into this, as a dog whistle, to delegitimize feminism will work in these spaces. Doesn't work for me, and yes, I am very familiar with the literature, both gender theory, continental philosophy and Marxist literature, so please, spare the 101. :)
