i am SO damn ready to tryhard in full real dogfights with this thing, in the test drive it already hits K' Bells and Kulbits easier and faster than anything ingame ive flown thus far. the amount of stomping this'll do is insane, especially with the HMD >:DDD
@@leeworthington5015 the F-15 wasn’t flying well or managing his energy well, that and the fact that the thrust to weight ratio and energy retention is off kinda led to that.

you did a barrel roll the cobra is nose up to with with a straight flight line then nose down again. all you did was a barrel roll go watch cobra maneuver videos and see the difference.
In a dogfight with missiles there will hardly be a time the F15 won’t be preflaring with its flare count. Gonna burn at least 2-3 R73’s to get a hit in through a thick pre flare cloud as close range.

@@_aleda_ Certainly doesn’t help to have the SU-27 get its rep tarnished in combat because the Russian Government showed us it did not learn lessons from modern air campaigns. They have stand off weapons and LGBs yet insist on rocket strafing and predictable flight patterns. One got shot down by a MANPADS on Russian soil near the border at about 1,000 feet. Pilot skill and adaptability of the aircraft trumps fancy cobras any day. The SU-27 is inferior when you consider the entire picture. The Russians took 30 years to make the SU-34 combat ready and it did poorly in Ukraine with ready rate issues and 20+ shot down.
@_aleda_ yeah, f15 has the better normal flight characteristics, but the su-27 should always win a dogfight. But by the time the su-27 the amraams were out so su-27 never rly had a usable advantage
@@WigSplittersFlanker came out in 85 , amraam in 91 and R77 in 94 so no diadvantage was from 91-94 .. Although modernization wise after the 90s the US should start pulling quite ahead.
Su27 and Mig29 were being built at the same time by USSR. Also the su27 is almost 2x bigger and much heavier than the Mig29 Su27 has 10 hardpoints for weapons while Mig29 has 6 Su27 is more of a air superiority fighter while Mig29 is more of a jack of all trades (while still being kinda trash)

F-15가 쫄보라 쓸데없는 기동을 치고 플랩까지 펴면서 에너지를 다 날려먹고, 동시에 애프터버너가 꺼지면서 날려먹은 에너지를 회복도 못 하게 되면서 선회율이 박살나니까 Su-27이 리드로 들어갈 수 있었던 것이지... 첫번째 교차에선 애초에 중립이었고, 두번째 교차에선 공격 포지션으로 들어간 것 처럼 보이지만, F-15가 투서클 제대로 돌려고 마음먹으면 Su-27이 못 따라잡는 상태였음.
F-15 isn't turn fighter it is a boom and zoom god. That is so many people are going to die in it at first until the meta learns. Go slow, and you will die.
Yes but no... The F-15 is a turn fighter. It's designed for the two-circle and vertical fight. Stay close to around 250-300 knots corner speed for the max turn rate. If that doesn't work out, it's either a skill issue (literally) or Gaijin not modelling things correctly. -A DCS player
Su27 was made to be unstable but a lot of computers make it stable. Disabling the computer kinda lets it pull turns like this at the cost of speed and stability. So irl it kinda can do these menuevers for a short time. But take everything I said with a grain of salt cuz I ain't a Sukhoi engineer.
