@@dfiestasr That makes no sense dude, the climb rate has nothing to say about how hard it is to dogfight in a plane. I said both sides need to be flown by better Pilots because it looks like none of you two went into the fight with a clear idea of dogfighting or a proper plan that went beyond the first 1 or 2 turns.
@@dfiestasr Dude it makes no sense to bring climb rate as an argument when the proplem is you skill, please don´t title the video ,,Dogfight´´ if you don´t even know how properly dogfight.
Mig29 9-13 has a slightly larger spine for increased fuel storage over the base version 9-12. I'll ve honest i think the r73s are fine as is. Relatively easy ro flare. The issue are the r27Ts. Those NEED a flare resistance nerf. The mig29s are missing a good chunk of thrust. Overall i don't it's overpowerd. BUT it's gonna slam everything that packs 10 flares or less
@@vascoiraola5209 the f16 is one of the best rate fighters ever built, the j7e is a 3rd gen that doesn’t maintain speed as it rates. the f16 will easily win in 2 circle
definitely would win, not really entertaining though. Id rather lose an entertaining fight than win a boring fight... after all, thats why we play games, to be entertained
@@Texas_Engineer_Mike yeah the mig 29A should also turn much faster as well as have better AOA, the mig 29 at low speeds could stay inside the F-16s turn circle all day
@@toyotawitha20mm35 tell that to all the migs that the F-16 shot down. It’s simply not true. At slow speeds the mig can’t turn with the F-16. Which is why it began to lose out once pilots understood that. And then eventually the F-16 gained BVR capability, making it a better dog fighter and capable of fighting back long range. Mig-29 is a good plane. But it just doesn’t quite stack up in the long run. In the game? This early variant is going to get crushed because of the bvr missiles. But if you can survive the onslaught, the F-16 will shine. Unless they change the flight model haha.
@@corybrown2197 did i ever fucking say the mig 29 was a better plane?, no i said it was a better dogfighter...the mig 29 out turns the F-16 at almost all speeds and it can force a 1 circle due to how tight it turns, it can negate any rate fight using its R-73s. the mig 29 is more maneuverable but has worse flight systems and avioinics. the mig 29 though is unbeatable in the merge IF the mig pilot knows how to fly his plane, because the F-16 is a MUCH MUCH easier plane to fly and it is much more forgiving, it has fly by wire systems that hand hold the pilot, meanwhile the mig 29A is a very difficult plane to fly and master which is why its combat record is so poor due to the fact that in order for the mig 29A to be unbeatable in a dogfight it needs a very very skilled pilot

The mig 29A is also not turning tight enough and doesn't pull AOA irl it pulls 45 degrees of Aoa, almost 30 more than the F-16 and the mig 29 has a very tight vertical turn radius , in the vertical it should be able to stay inside the F-16s turn, and it vastly under preforms In the q circle
Thunderskill doesn't mean shit in a dogfight, I exclusively duel in warthunder and rairly play air rb. I can almost beat ZeroLionAce and I have beat m09 in a dogfight with the same plane, you want a good opponent use custom battle reputation not "thunderskill"
