I wasn’t getting up tiered regularly. If anything I was up tiered 3 times out of all the games I played. And in the video if you climb like I did and rush the enemy the aim 9m will do all the work for you
it isn't really slow, sitting just below mach at most situations is good, plus, whilst it looses energy it has a weirdly good turn rate when it has it, with 25mm adens so ovrall its a beast
@@bencurran3204 not only is its speed lower, as you mentioned, but it accelerates slower as well. If players didn't regularly enter the merge at mach 1.3 it wouldn't have a chance. But others being bad is not a plane being good ...
@@HarryTheOwlcat it doesn't accelerate slower, its thrust is insane and can get to the top speed a lot quicker than most other planes of its br, yeh if its fighting an f15 its going to have that fly by almost half a minute in, but a lot have to crawl to catch up. its turnrate at optimal speeds is so much better than its stat card, with it reach almost doing 24 sec turn rate at optimal speeds. Aim 9ms at 11.7 even in an uptier makes it competitive from that alone, yeh you cannot fight in headons against fighters with radar missiles but because you can merge and joust doesn't mean its a bad thing, hell if thats how you fight then you should switch your strat. at the end of the day, its a strike aircraft system, with damned good guns and missiles for its br, the engine outthrusts most things at this br and missiles that can be extremely competitve at its br and above.
It's not the M's, its the fact that harrier can rain up from high above on the unsuspecting foes. L's work just as well. I've spaded squad harrier with 4 L's and it also was a breeze. I also spaded F-16C and F-15 and let me tell you, I've expected M's to be MUCH better than older missiles. I was wrong.
@@bencurran3204 Yeah, I tested it in a Sim game, the thing can snap a 16G turn like it's nothing, and can sustain around 11G. Add the fact that you can use the nozzles to slow things down, and this thing is deadly to dogfight at top tiers.
