I’m having a blast in the MIG29G at the moment. Apart from the lack of flares and fuel, it has absolutely everything. I turn the radar off, and play sort of the ghost coming in from the side killing at least 2-3 pretty much every time i emerge.
In real life the SU27 is just an average plane. The R27ERs are pretty unreliable too. The Russians mostly use standard R27s over ERs and R77s due to the reliability issues.
@@wezzyswagdrifter yes dcs is really nice, i just really like war thunder. plus i can't even play dcs, my pc is a potato even on medium settings in wt. maybe i can try out dcs later in my life lol
it is great to start high with the su27, you may or may not get a bvr kill. But you cause that player to go defensive. Also, when the enemies come in, you have such a good position for your IR missles. It's like shooting fish in a barrel.
@@gewooneenboy9682 no I`m not a F4 premium that bombed bases. I play the F16,F14,F15 all with Aim 7s and I can kill with Aim7s, but I also have the MIG 29SMT and the SU 27 with the R27ERs and they are way better then the AIM 7s. They are better in every way. If they would add the AIM 7s with INS the R27ER would still be better in every way beside the fact that the AIM 7 will be capable to reaquire a lock like the R27ER can. So there is no reason to not add a new version of the AIM 7
Please do F15, I need teammates who climb. How you should fly the F15 Climb to 35~40k ft (which I think is around 10k km) Set radar range to 46~92 mi depending on the map. Launch Sparrow at 20~30 mi. Don’t expect them to hit a ton, but you will get bvr kills. The F15 was built for high altitude, use it. Learn to notch, back off if you’re getting launched at by an R27ER, but if you get a friendly Su27 at alt, you’re basically unkillable. And when you’re above people, you can orbital strike people (which is extremely effective) with you’re Aim9Ms. Please start climbing in the F15, thats what its made for
I have it foor 2 weeks now 😊 And i don't played this thing 😂 And have no plans to do it. I love air RB 10.0 and air SB below 10.7. I got some top tier jets now (F16A,F15A,Su27 soon F16C,Mig29),but i'm sick of this BR
I hope they fix the fly low shit sometime but i doubt that will happen.....flying low in a straight line shouldnt guarantee dodging a radar missile every single time....sim battles arent even fun anymore because all people do is fly on the deck

@@FXIIBeaver It is a visual feature which could be implemented in a small update. Which basically means that you do not need much ressources to code it! I actually have the knowledge to do it but unfortunately I am still studying and therefore not working for Gaijin.

Does anyone know what radar I should be using because Ive done my radar research and stuff but I still don't know what to use, I've been using the su for some time but even now I don't understand how to use it still, are there any tips, and most of the time I'm getting tips for PC I'm on console and it doesn't help
yeah they have an extra booster so when the first one runs out they have another to keep them at same speed but in game both are used at the same time making it mach 5.8
@@kaourintintamine1383 these missiles are so broken that they get flared by f-14 and mig-23 at low speed with AB on. Try 2tap flare 9m which is launched at you from 2-3 km away.
@@InterstellarTaco it doesn't become woodstick at speed below 600 and above 1000 irl. That "suhpaneuver" only helps to lose speed rapidly and become easy target for any missile except shit73
With its FM and its receiver only true Su-27 enjoyers will enjoy suffering in sb in this thing(I don’t mean the plane is awful, but it’s the worst 11.7-12.7 plane to fly in sb after 29a, it is worse in 1C fights than even f-15a(I’m not sure but as far as I know Su should be “the king” of 1C fights) and loses 2c fight to almost every plane, it is the slowest 11.7-12.7 plane, visibility in cockpit is terrible, RWR shows pretty much nothing(it doesn’t even show the exact direction, only rough direction with an accuracy of 15deg which) so even with its 10 missiles and better FM than 29SMT has the SMT is still more competitive and easier to play in SB just because of avionics and max speed
