War Thunder's Most Satisfying Missiles? 8.3 BR Radar Missiles - Vautour IIN 

Before you guys ask, I'm likely going to publish my remaining gameplay videos that I've already uploaded and not released yet. I've got about 16 videos uploaded, but not released, and a portion of those are gameplay videos. During this time, I'll work on guides and whatnot. Gameplay will still be created, but likely a little less often than I currently do it.

You're seriously one of the absolute first people I've seen use that thing correctly. I've seen tons of videos of people saying that it's useless while proceeding to launch the missile at 10 kms away from a target that's heading away from them or at a target 1.5 kms away heading directly towards them so it has no time at all to start maneuvering. People act like it's supposed to have the maneuverability of an R60 with the range of a Phoenix

Might be useful for battle tasks against bombers. Can get Canberra's and Il-28 in the face while they are on their bombing run. Very, very niche.

This is one of my fav planes. you can't tryhard too much, the adequate playstyle with it is mostly laidback, but if you play in your strenght you can impact downtiers a lot. Uptiers are cheeky, my go-to loadout is 2 nords and 2 r511. F104 at 9 3 rarely are able to avoid a headon AA 20, and if you are careful you can sling matras on fighters busy in vertical maneuvers rather effectively. Also quad 30mm usually shred anything they touch, comparable to the Vulcan, too bad that the nose authority of the plane is almost 0. I would discourage anyone considering this as their first jet. The playstyle is too niche and you learn nothing useful for later, except radar and radar missiles dynamics.

I might be wrong but iirc despite all the drawbacks of the older pulse radar missiles, they can't be notched like the overall better CW ones. This usually doesn't give it much advantage because a single chaff pop can distract it, but at this BR not many planes have it even.

I like the AA nord more but R511 is pretty funny against B-29/Tu-4s

this missile feels so weird because of how slow it flies, but it will hit the target within 3Km quite reliably as long as the target doesn't move perpendicular to You.

Oh, these are Radar missiles? I was wondering how Vautours were able to lock-on to me during head-ons... Also, prolly unpopular opinion, but I think these are the best looking 'early' jets.

4:22 how did you get a lock on that guy? Was the radar buffed? Last time I played it you could barely aim at an enemy lower than the horizon at 1000 or less meters.

As a Tu-4 player, I wish you a very nice 10 23mm guns to the cockpit. Vatours are a menace.

This i definitely the plane with the lowest br radar aams but you still have the German Sea Hawk at 8.0 with aim9b's

I have the F4C but I never use it. I can't for the life of me, fugure out how to use radar missiles. I don't understand the whole locking, vs tracking and fire. So the F4c is useless without the Sparrows. I tried my German MiG21 with the R3R and can't get those to work either. It's frustrating. So I have zero desire for top tier and went back to WWII.

flying 7.7s again this thing is so FUUUU----n Especially if the platoon up. You can't catch them and you always have to keep your head on a swivel for income missiles. And here's another Snail moment classic: the supposed LATE version is at 8.3 while the regular one is at 9.0.

lol this vautour have airspawn at 8.3 and israel vautour (jetbomber) have only airfield spawn at 9.0

U just buy this beautiful plane 🎉 but its hard for me fly and kill someone with it (Stock Pain) but i still fly it because i want missiles 😁 its guaranted kill for me

The as nords have been broken since the update has come out and it has killed any want to play the game as nords are my absolute favourite as weapons in the game
