I looked in the manual for the very old Tornado sim from 1993 that I still have and in that sim the IDS version have air and ground radar modes, even has a radar gun sight. It also shows different radar icons for friendly or enemy planes.
Yeah, I think the IDS and GR1 are pretty much the same or very similar. I was under the impression the Tornado had one of the most advanced electronic systems in the world when it first game out.
I love your clips, even after one year when I uninstall warthunder becouse maps are stupid small and game become a counter strike with planes, I stiil watch on your content.
I think there's an issue with planes disappearing for no reason. You can see them from a distance and as you get closer and line them up in your HUD, they just magically *poof*. I don't think it matters whether the radar is on or off and happens A LOT.
It does actually matter. If your radar is in anything other than search mode, including being off, dots at long range will disappear. They will also disappear sometimes when you zoom in to look at them and then reappear when you zoom out.
Can anyone explain me why this is 11.0? 4x non all aspect missiles. The J35XS has 6x non all aspect missiles and insane maneuverability and is 0.3 lower.
Ive got the tornado mate (marineflieger got it because the tornados my favourite jet). DO NOT FLY THEM. They are extremely broken, nerfed into the ground. Apparently there is a massive rework coming soon, id wait for that honestly.
Have you flown the notorious J35A yet in a game? It is notorious for going into flat spins and not being able to recover. For those trolls who say yes you can, it says right in the info of the plane you cannot come out of a flat spin. I just bail out when I go into a flat spin in the plane. I also discovered the missels suck. They wont track. In a recent fix by Gaijin they said they fixed the bomb site on a plane (cannot remember which one now) but I find you cannot see the bomb site on the Gr 1a either. There are a few strike planes which when you switch to bomb site it does not show up. They need to check all the attackers for this issue.
I have the same micro stutters / twitching that you have , it started when they added EAC to the SIM for me , also i noticed it happens when enemys are near , not really fare for the enemy , and i have to deal with annoying twitching , also it only happens to me in sim ec all other modes like RB tanks / air are fine. I made a bug report about this over a year ago now and was told it was passed to devs. I fear it will not get looked at untill more report it . Thanks for the video and the info about this jet .

Hey man, i recently got into your viewing your content and im absolutely loving it! One question, do you have any tips for flying planes without radar in top tier? I want to start playing sim with my F5C, but im scared of getting some teamkills, and getting upclose with the f5c inst really that possible as it is kinda of more slow then most top tier jets
Hi, that's a tough question matey. You just have to try and get use to the plane silhouettes and look at the battle chat to work out where enemies are. also the BR ranges change every couple of days and some times you will get 9.3 to 10.3 match and so the higher tier planes will be in 10.7 to 12
Do you know if this video was before or AFTER the RWR update that made them much more realistic? The regular mig21 bis now is unplayable because it cannot pick up any pd radar. Does this one do? I was interested in getting it with the sales, but only if the RWR is actually useful, I dont want to die from aim7 that i didnt even know were fired
@@CptToastman i bought it anyway eventually becsuse it s 10.7 and I will exclusively fly it when it s the top tier in the lobby. In general tho I believe all mig21 should go down of 0.3 br
great videos i went to dcs and now back on war thunder. dcs is just not fun . way too much to control the planes and after coming back to war thunder i forgot how much fun it is. keep up the great work
Feel like you should try dcs if you feel like a deeper dive on sim aircraft. But this is certainly making me feel like if I need a more chill first person flight than warthunder sims I should go
No mate, I haven't really done videos specifically talking about the issues of the game. ( I don't really do that) However, almost every video I'm complaining about some element of the game.
