I lost my uncle in the Korean War in 1951, he flew in WWII and again in Korea when he and his P- 51 failed to return from target. I flew in a P-51 with the Collin’s Foundation in his honor"…… On of the greatest moments of my life , keep em flying.

Had a chance years ago to get a hop on “FIFI” back in the “Confederate AF” days but I didn’t close the deal! It’s still on my bucket list for a hop in “FIFI” or “DOC”!! That Corsair looks so Awesome rotating and flying by, and even though those P-51s were sweet I’m partial to the F-4Us!! NICE video, thanks👍🏽🇺🇸🇺🇸

How wonderful a jet powered B - 29 would have been, I flew in FI-FI ln 2016 in the same position my father did in1943-1945.

A B24 without turrets. To bad

This B-24 is an "A" Model with the shorter nose, and manually operated tail gun. The B-24 didn't get gun turrets untill the C Model, which wasn't built in large numbers, plus they lacked self sealing tanks, and armor, so, the Army Air Force used the C Models as trainers, only.
