Saturday October 22 2011 at 10.30 am. The 9.54 Littlehampton to Portsmouth & Southsea (!0.50) train pulls out of Warblington station and the 10.12 Portsmouth Harbour to London (12.16) via Chichester train heads eastwards without stopping. The crossing was actually closed for 3 minutes 40 seconds. Warblington is a Hampshire village by the Sussex border and is less than half a mile from Havant level crossing and the junction with the main line to London.
