This is a complete playthrough of the Orc Campaign, spliced together from individual recordings of each level. Played on Battle.net Edition v2.02 with Fog of War enabled.
i know this is an old comment, but there is a game out there called armies of exigo, and in my opinion is like the remastered version of all warcraft games. if you are willing to play it, note that you will need a direct x9 emulator program (if you want to have the 3D unit portraits displayed, you can play it without it though)
It's kinda funny when playing the Orcs! Back then, this is what I thought: - The Great Hall looks like a Christmas house. See the horns by the entrance? If you pan the camera and looking away from it, they can be mistakingly resemble candy canes. Even the lights, banner, and decorations are also mistaken for ornaments, and christmas lights and decorations! Plus, the brown structure completes this by looking alot like gingerbread! - The Orc Warriors, when facing left or right, looks alot like Santa themselves! But, when facing diagonally, they look alot like either Santa bending down to smoke a pipe, or holding a rifle. I just can't seem to get away from this ever since! - The sound of being berserk by Ogre-Mages is as if they are insanely drunk. WhauauuAaUaUuAuAaUAAUAUUAUAAUAUUH! - When an Orc dies, the sound is as if they're roaring rather than meeting death. OOOOOAAAAGH! - Most structure sounds, when selecting them, are hilarious! The Altar, for example, sounds as if two Orcs were conversating so dumbfounded, they don't know what they're actually talking about!
I also missed the peons real face for way too long. I always thought that their right ear is an injured eye, and they only have one normal eye (looking left and up), their right tusk is their mouth (smiling), and the thing between their right war and eye is their nose.
The narrator reading the story is still so awesome. Perfect diction and sound effects. Best old and future memories since I hope I will complete the game 20 times more again ;d
@@MyNigellus oh you misunderstood me bro!! Lol I am asking how can one play this game ?? I am very computer illiterate so ima asking what do I need to play today!! Haha I love this game
@ephesians3987 I know what you mean. I've tried playing this again on my 12 year old alienware laptop and as soon as you move the cursor to the edge of the screen you're instantly across the map.
@@LordThomasPassion Correct. Ner'Zhul escaped into the Twisting Nether, only to be greeted by his demonic master, Kil'jaeden, who was most displeased with his failure to conquer humanity. Kil'jaeden trapped his spirit within a suit of armor, frozen in a block of ice, and placed him in Northrend, giving him a new mandate: spread a plague of undeath with his new powers and destroy Lordaeron. Ner'Zhul's lieutenants, meanwhile, were all transformed into liches (Which is why many of them don't have human names).
aaa.... the good old days when you could punch a building to oblivion, and the units where bigger than the building they came from :D awesome game play man... the speed you play on is godlike level :P
Played this as a kid. A sone points in the campaigns the game would crash as if saying "nope. You cracked it. No more gameplay for you" It still was so much fun.
Been watching you play C&C, RA & WC2. Thank you for the high quality playing and uploads. Well done👍🏻 Been a trip down memory lane. Just bought the remasterd C&C collection and will be getting WC2 battlenet (though I still have all the originals as I loved them so much as a kid). I've learned a lot by watching you play. My younger self wasn't much of a strategist... 😅 Beyond the Dark Portal kicked my ass 🤣 Not sure if you have a Dungeon Keeper playthrough. I'll check later. Another great game from that era 😈
Thanks man, have fun with the games :) I wasn't any good at them as a kid either, I was playing around with cheat codes more than playing legitimately :D Unfortunately I didn't have Dungeon Keeper as a kid although the concept intrigued me and I thought about picking it up multiple times. Unfortunately the UI seems very dated and unintuitive in that game.
@@StuGames Will do! Really looking forward to beating them legitimately 😇 No more glittering prizes or great days to die 🤫 I've completed Dungeon Keeper several times over the years. There's a higher resolution mode in the windows version, which helps. The main challenge with Dungeon Keeper (for me anyways) is the difficulty in micro-managing large engaments with the enemy. Also, there's quite a few creatures that attack each other on sight or who do massive area of affect damage which kills friendly units 😫 Having said all that, I do strongly encourage you to give it a try! One of my all time favorites. You can slap your imps around, hear the dark mistress's screams of pleasure reverberate around your dungeon, cruely torture your foolish goody goody enemies, converting them to your cause and... get flipped off by the universally irate and disgruntled horned reaper 😋 Love it!
@@StuGames dude how did I never think of that as a kid or an adult. Using a death night as a make shift goblin sapper with death and decay and unholy armor
1st mission intro: defeat the Laughing Skull clan 1st mission gameplay: defeat the Shattered Hand clan 9th mission intro: daemon guarded by Orc clans 9th mission gameplay: daemon guarded by human nations for some reason Also both Human and Orc campaigns involve destroying the Thunderlord and Bonechewer clans.
@@rallykalle8852 In mission 11, Dance of the Laughing Skull, you destroy the stronghold of the Thunderlord clan. You also attack the Bonechewer clan. Since in the 3rd Orc missions their strongholds were near each other it's possible you attack their stronghold as well.
1:30:20 Fun fact: The guy who made the Warcraft 1 in Warcraft 3 custom campaign added 2 bonus secret levels for both races. The first human level of which is heavyly inspired by this one in terms of gameplay and landscape.
@@poiz921 Well, then I don't understand. Mediev had seemed to be quite an important dude. Why did nobody listen to him? I naturally concluded that a lot of time has pased since.
@@VK-sz4it it's a long time since I've actually read the lore, but i think mediv was evil, brought the orcs to the warcraft planet, died and somehow came back to repent. He doesnt reveal himself in WC3 for reasons I dont know. I think if you search on the lore wiki you'll find something
These campaign maps seem to be slightly different than what I see. It's still War2Combat edition. Has there been an upgrade? (The one I see has much more aggressive comps)
I always played last mission that I headed to south and then made my base to where is the free gold mine. It seems that almost every mission has some backdoor way to complete it different way if you have very good skill. Playing as normal way the hardest time in last mission was killing the blue base. After I got their gold mine the rest of the mission was a piece of cake :)
Holy cow you're great at this game... I can't imagine fighting 2 battles at once, much less 3 and still being on top of your production and unit micromanagement Also, damn I thought I made a lot of peons
The Trolls aren't native to Draenor. So they must have come through in the retreat. They're now apparently a core part of Orcish forces. Damm, they must have bred fast.
I find it funny that peons damage 1 hp only since they are by far the strongest, constantly training their bodies while the military rest waiting for an enemy. Amazing gameplay by the way, I have watched around 10 hours of you playing different campaings 🖤
Yeah they're probably physically strong but they don't have any combat training, I'd imagine getting a hit on a trained knight would be difficult, and if you do, I doubt it would be an effective strike.
How did you not get attacked by knights at 44:00?? Ive tried this mission like youve done 8 seperate times and I always get swarmed by knights RIGHT fortress completion
Is this Macintosh or PC? I am afraid my older Mac computer may die and I can't play these games. Any recommendations on systems that can run, Warcraft I, II and expansion set? Thanks.
Cheers for the guide but simply can not get anywhere with act xi - The Eye of Dalaran, its just ridiculous. Not matter what strategy I try, even copying yours, just get blitzed in no time; whether its land troops or seemingly a constant attack of Griffins, so frustrating.
Can't speak for Command and Conquer, but this campaign is one of the most brutally difficult campaigns that Blizzard has ever published. Enemies often have massive fortifications that you need a large, well microed army to break, while also constantly attacking you at the same time. This person's playing this extremely well, its just a long campaign.
Somewhere about 1:50:00, im just wondering why this guy built two town halls. Is it because to keep a peon production while other town hall gets upgraded into stronghold?
What I wanted to know was why didn't you use your Death Knights to reanimate the dead, all it costs a little bit of magic it works on just fallen friendly or enemy bones and you get free undeath soldiers as reinforcements
In the end of the first mission. Right after you were done smashing everything. Everyone suddenly moved slower around while you were waiting for the "victory button". How did you do that? I believe you are to play in this fast tempo but it just made me suspicious...
