Flying Buttress makes bitesize (usually) WoW lore videos with stupid jokes in them. For people who love World of Warcraft but don't take it all really seriously.
World of Warcraft: Shadowlands is the eighth expansion pack for the massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) World of Warcraft, following Battle for Azeroth. It was announced and made available for preorder at BlizzCon on November 1, 2019. It is scheduled for a 2020 release.
The expansion will open up the Shadowlands, the realm of the dead in Warcraft lore. It will feature the game's first "level squish" and a completely overhauled leveling system, access to the Death Knight class for the races that did not previously have access to it, Covenants in the new zones, and new dungeons and raids.
The Shadowlands will feature five major zones - Bastion, Ardenweald, Revendreth, Maldraxxus, and the Maw. In the center will be the city of Oribos, which functions as the main player hub similar to Shattrath City in Outland in The Burning Crusade or Dalaran in Wrath of the Lich King and Legion. There will be four new dungeons for leveling, four more at maximum level, and a new raid. In addition, a new roguelike "endless dungeon" called Torghast, Tower of the Damned, will be introduced for both solo and group play.

That is a pleasant way to practice understanding English from hearing since i know the story, but didn’t read the novel. So it’s all in one place - learn something new about sensations of lore characters, sweet nostalgia of a great game and plot, English practice, and joy of fun attitude at telling story and your video skills. Love these Supercuts. They tell the story so I can know the actual Warcraft story but also have a laugh at the same time. They are really good. Deserve a lot more subscribers imo.

Honestly I'm kinda glad what they did. They've been so bad at handling storylines lately that I'm sure even they were afraid to fuck up Arthas. So they did the best they could which was nothing. Except for a fucking Sylvanas monolog. Not Jaina or Uther or anyone else that knew him better or actually cared about him at one point. No, the ***t that he stabbed 30 years ago has to give the farewell speech. Don't get me wrong the lesser of two shit sundaes is still a shit sundae. And Sure as a whole from beginning to end the shadowlands ruined Wrath and Warcraft III. But thankfully those stories are fantastic on their own and it's quite easy to just pretend Shadowlands was just one big fever dream. Yeah that's it we all collectively had one big fever dream after legion. Big man stabbed the world. We all got knocked out and shared the same dream. We woke up and oh hey look the dragon isles lets go on an adventure....

I kinda liked what they did to Arthas. He was reduced to nothing, a sad whimper of a soul. It is a very nice ribbon around the tragedy of his life. Everything else in that expansion was shit though. Largely.

Where are the "gardens of Dalaran" in-game? Dalaran is mostly buildings, a little bit of grass, and a couple of random trees outside the wall

Dunno. Ask Christie Golden. Tbf Dalaran seemed like a much bigger place back in the RTS days compared to the floaty versions we have now in WoW. And theres a bunch of towers and stuff that we don't get to go into that might have random interior gardens. So it's not completely outrageous.

Actually dalaran is much bigger in cinematics in WC3 and floating Dalaran is not the entire city. I guess in original place there actually were trees and garden and other buildings. What we got is just the center of Dalaran, like palace and chapel quarter of Stormwind for example

Well Dalaran used to be quite a bigger city than the one you see in online WoW. As you may recall, when Archimonde was summoned into Azeroth he nearly leveled the entire city with 1 spell. This explains why the Dalaran in game is much less of what it used to be and why these gardens are now missing.

That was excellent! Thank you! I heard you say through Chronicles how much you loved this story, so I came here right after. I was not disappointed! And that joke at Reforged was perfect--I laughed so hard! You keep making them and I'll keep watching. Also, I would totally read a book if you wrote it the way you speak. "Things happened, there was a battle, so-and-so kicked him in the face and THEY CHEESED IT." I'd read few hundred pages of that!

Christine Golden is the best novel writer for the Warcraft books. I hope you one day do a whole series on her first Warcraft novel, Lord of the Clans. That one is my favorite one out of the bunch, and I've read almost all of them. Your work is amazing!

Tragic story of Arthas Menethil is a masterpiece. This lore made by Blizzard storywriters must be made into a film. It would be an amazing love, drama, adventure and the fall of Arthas action film.

Nope. Books very much just focused on Arthas becoming the Lich King. It would be nice if Sylvanas got her own novel like this though. Maybe she will after Shadowlands (assuming her story arc ever ends)

Beyond how utterly amazing you've done on this video, I think I truly understand the exact moment wow the game faltered. Arthas and his horrors are echo'd in every part of northrend. Each patch was slowly building up to the final showdown. Deathwing and his horrors were present in..5 or 10% of the entierty of cataclysm. Each zone was almost like a staircase to Icecrown, fulfilling high fantasy. Everything after wotlk is just "Beat this bad guy...cool uhhh...now here's another one! Oh shit you killed him...uuhhmmmm, here's an old god i guess! Ok next expansion" like... Slow down, we don't need to kill a god every expansion, we don't need or want to go to space all the time, this is a medieval high-fantasy game, not fortnite, our attention spans are insanely vast.

I do sometimes have a few 'old person' moments where I wonder if it's a vicious cycle. My attention span has certainly dipped in more recent years and I find myself wondering if, by assuming we're all low attention span morons, theyve turned us into low attention span morons lol. I dont even mean WoW specifically. Movies. TV Shows. etc. I defo dont have the patience to consume slow burn material like I used to.

Very entertaining, kept me listening from start to finish. That itself is impressive considering hardly anything short of a car wreck can hold my attention for more than a few seconds.
