I disagree on the RNG being bad, here is why. To take into account RNG, you need to be more clever, because you have to take into account the unknown, which require a probabilistic approach. It's why Poker requires a wider skillset compared to Chess. Reality is, non-RNG is comfortable, because it's easier to calculate. I personally DON'T like playing decks that exploit the map, only to change them as the map change. I like to find a balanced and flexible deck, which can reasonably have a chance against any scenario. Sure, if the opponent plays a deck that exploit a specific map, and he is lucky, good for him. Again, the goal is not to win every match (deterministic approach), is to win most of the times (probabilistic approach). 51% consistent win rate is enough to climb any ladder As an ex MTG player, I was raging against Heartstone RNG 10 years ago, then I realised that the RNG was actually what gave deepness to the game...
I am not sure if exploit is the word I'd use, unless you're talking about deep breath prior to the Double Dragon nerf. In other games I've played, there are units that are simply better in some maps/modes than others. A lot of us in Diablo Gaming think randomizing the map is going to have bad consequennces on people's willingness to experiment. Only time will tell for sure. You could certainly be right!
100% in Agreement with you. PvP needs to be for everybody. Also would be nice to have events/challenges where everyone plays with max level units and all talents are available. Brawl Stars and Clash Royale are both good at doing this.
Thanks for the feedback! I am replaying the video on my PC headphones at 50% volume, and I am not having any trouble understanding the audio. I have had volume issues in the past, therefore I hvae become far more dilligent in testing my audio before casting or before publishing content. You might want to check your volume settings and play around with them. I'll also ask some content creator friends of mine to play this video and let me know if I should turn up the gain on my mic.
Nice presentation! Random maps will centralize the mini pool even further. Minis that are really good in one map won't be used if they're a dead card in all the rest. So what u gain in map variety, u lose in mini variety. I would also prefer just faster map rotation as opposed to random.
Thanks for the feedback and I fully agree with you. Faster map rotation would be great. Also, if you randomize without the option to draft a team, you might have the right mini but the wrong talent.
Uncommon, rare and epic gives you an additional level. Your grunt is rare with 2 talents maybe level 14. you upgrade the mini to epic he becomes lvl 15. if you buy the 3rd talent, even if you don’t need and it’s useless, the mini becomes lvl 16. so, you can raise 2 more lvls. Later it’s nice, because you need 25k, 50k, 100k exp for last lvls.
@@OemmisDiary right now my harpies need 12000 exp to get to level 21. Maybe I level it up like regular to 21 and then when it needs 25000 exp, that’s when I upgrade it to epic and get the talent.
@@dandimit8463 you can upgrade, as soon as you want. With epic, they raise 1lvl, you need the same exp for the next lvl. Example: your harpies are 20 with 8765/12000. now, you upgrade with epic stuff. Result: your harpies are now 21 with 8765/12000 with a bit more health and strength. Same wenn you choose next talent. They are 22 with 8765/12000 with more power.
Hi again, regarding map rotation, I don't think it's wise to ask the average player to avoid PvP for weeks. The average player wants to open the game and have fun, at any time. The average player doesn't return to play after 1 month stop..
Hi! Around 8:12 I suggest that we shorten the map rotation because I want to avoid that very issue. I know several people in my guild that hate this map and don't like doing PVP because of it. If I mispoke somewhere else in the video, I apologize.
