Ward is DUMB and Experience is Busted! Minthara, Merciless Soul Deck Tech!  

I've tried countless times to build a Minthara deck but always end up with 200+ playables and give up before getting it down to 100. Thanks for sharing your brew!

I also have a Minthara pEDH deck. However, I don't have a pEDH scene where I live. I just wanted to try building a pEDH deck and went with Minthara because there were too many Orzhov decks I wanted to build. I have played it against regular EDH decks and it can put up a fight and even win games as long as the table isn't full of fast decks ^^ I would like to suggest Gilded Pinions as a possible replacement for Commander's Sphere. It doesn't draw a card or add mana more than once, but it can help you get Minthara out a turn early while supplying your experience counter on the same turn. Then it sits there and provides flying as needed. Zentharim Bandit can do a similar thing. Play him on 2, then swing on 3 and make a treasure. Also, Blood Pet is a neat 'free' spell that can grant or benefit from your experience counters. Also a better option than the Fog Kami when sacced on your turn. Advance Scout has been another fun one for me where the threat of activation makes me hard to block or attack into.

Love the deck tech been looking around for minthara flicker builds and this is the first one I've liked👍👍

I wasn't actually familiar with the non Arena version of Minthara. Really interesting to see how they changed her. As a commander, it seems far better to have that ward than the permanace of Intensity. Also interesting to see how they just sort of get around the whole intensity thing by just having the player gain the counters instead.

11/10 video 🤩 I think Hive had the right idea in that game against Mayhem Devil. Step 1 is kill the combo player and step 2 is kill the Mayhem Devil player. Drawing interaction helps

I feel like this one has been a long time coming!

Some weeks back, I put together a Minthara deck using only scryfall for help since I'm pretty ignorant on Orzhov. Our lists differ by about 40 cards due to some choices I made to go against with normal EDH precons, but I'm glad I mostly came to the same strategy conclusions. She's fun to play!
