"oh i flew far enough surely he cant get here at least not before i notice him" *Local warden breaks the fastest run world record to kill a guy that stole his stuff*
This is my favourite "Warden Encounter" video. There's everything: - the synchronisation of the Warden spawning at the same time when you opened the chest; - the Warden, prepared to kill you, stood EXACTLY behind you; - the darkness effect didn't completely hinder the visibility of the creature and the place (good to show how it all looks like); - your fear can be felt even without seeing or hearing you, since it lied in your movement; - the creature hit you really hard off the block and actually nearly killed you despite having the best armour and a totem (shows how powerful it is); - the synchronisation of the night vision effect ending at the same time when the totem was used (it's like you being so near death you can't see much); - because of your loud escape, another Warden spawned. I can't stop rewatching it. It's perfect.
That is genuinely the scariest thing I've ever seen, even after you fly away it still chases you and with darkness you can't even see where you are going
@ttracs you know that warden being scary and hard is the whole point and darkness is it's main mechanic? It's like saying, blazes set you on fire, this is stupid
@@eliteknight2137 the blindness isn’t scary, it’s incredibly annoying. If I can’t see the threat I’m running from and I can’t see where I’m going and then I die it just feels incredibly unfair and stupid.
@@eliteknight2137 I would even prefer if the warden just broke every light source around you and removed your potion effects, because regular darkness is still better than blindness darkness, blindness darkness is such a cheap mechanic, I hate the type of features in games that arbitrarily blind you for no reason, it’s disorienting and annoying.
The scariest features about the warden for me is that he follows you no matter the distance and you can hear him from very far away, making it very hard to know where he is in an ancient city.
Did you not know anything about the warden or smth before this. Also even if you didn’t, just hearing him crawl out of the ground that loudly should make anyone have a panic attack especially if it’s they’re first time
@@Plunger_Camera_Man221 You can actually prevent the Warden spawning by lighting up the area around. But doing that would likely trigger the shrieker and raise your warning, possibly spawning the warden before you have enough time to light up the area
The sheer **panic** can be felt straight through the screen, even with no commentary or facecam. Really goes to show how perfectly crafted to install genuine fear into players the Warden and Deep Dark are
@@PrototypeZZwell, that’s kinda cheating. I love the concept of hardcore, but I don’t like the idea of losing my world after 1 death so what I do is to create a regular survival world, set the difficulty to Hard from the start and after the world is created I lock the difficulty. It’s basically a Hardcore world with the exception that you can die and not lose your world.
@@Sh4dow_007 I don’t consider it as cheating because Warden is too overpowered. I playing in Hardcore world (2500 ingame days already). 4xProt4 decrease chances to lose your world. And totem is basically rxtra life. I made huge platform under Ancient City in HC world. Loost 6-7 totems because sonic boom while building. So this Warden little bit too overpowered. 😅
@@PrototypeZZ sure, the Warden is overpowered, but remember that it’s not a boss, but a mob you should avoid. So people should assume the risk they’re taking when they’re raiding an Ancient City.
@@Jaki328Yeah the warden has 500 on bedrock as well. The wither also has 600 hp on hard mode on bedrock edition, but the warden still beats it due to doing more damage
I never thought of this until now, what if you just put nether portals around the city before you raid it? They're easy to see and make a good way to escape
Dawg I was with a friend of mine clearing out an ancient city a while ago and for whatever reason a warden randomly spawned right in front of my fucking face without setting off a shrieker.
@@x3nd3r Quoting from the Minecraft Wiki, "once a warden reaches 80 anger with a target, [...] the warden chases the target normally despite being blind." It effectively stops being blind once it's sufficiently angry.
If you can get Swift Sneak III on some leggings all you have to do is sneak away until he despawns. I've literally never engaged in combat with a single Warden in the last dozen Ancient Cities I've raided by just sneaking.
I will never understand why you guys use the arrows to move stuff through your inventory instead of the joystick. It’s faster, easier and looks better when doing it
@@x3nd3r You can keep the elytra equipped and you can fly away easier without having to take the time to scroll through your hotbar. It's a common bedrock mistake but over time you'll get used to it
hush hush hush hush hush shush your mouth dont make a sound woops you already have and the warden's been awakened now tut tut tut tut you just dug your own grave and fell down into a world of pain all you can do is pray for hell
Is this bedrock edition? If this is, then is kinda impressive you survived the situation because normally bedrock players sucks😂 also you play with keep inventory? You seems to not worry about the warden
@@x3nd3ru should've probably realized stepping on a shrieker is not a good idea, even if you wanted to test it. That way you would lose your levels and blame it on yourself
why do you swap to your chestplate in your hotbar while you are flying? I know Java players have to swap because they can't disable their elytra in midair but on bedrock you can. It looks like you are making it harder for yourself.
Mistake #1: Playing on Bedrock edition Mistake #2: Stupidly stepping on the shrieker / being that careless at trigger level 3 Mistake #4 (HUGE blunder): Screwing around with the chest while the warden spawns next to you, instead of using the time to gtfo immediately Mistake #5: Sitting there on the ledge doing nothing while the warden approaches Mistake #6: Not having enough night vision in your inventory despite having a shulker with lots of it Not the smartest plays there bro...
Why you hating LOL? 1: Im on ps4 if you couldn't tell so i can't play java 2: I just wanted to see if it would trigger 4: He needs a few seconds after he spawns to realise you're there and this is the only time he has damaged me and I've been in 6 ancient cities 5: Didn't think he knew i was there 6: Wait so you're saying i need more nigh vision even tho i have a shulker full of it?? Gongrats for being my biggest hater and taking the time to write this essay and how many hours do you have on minecraft since you're way better than me
@@x3nd3r First of all, xboxes and playstaions (bedrock edition) is inferior to PC (Java edition) I played both, and Bedrock feels like Java 10 updates behind, it's 💩, get a PC. Second, my advice is assuming your goal is to survive and get out of there alive. If your goal is to intentionally die to the warden, go for it 👍 Would you rather have 7 seconds spawning time plus the few needed for him to sniff you out or just the few needed for him to sniff you out? You lost so much time there either way. I'm not a hater typing out an essay just because "I'm a hater". I'm a normal guy posting my observations. People in the modern day especially like you got so lazy typing detailed opinions, that now putting any effort into something is considered an act of extreme emotion. And yes, I have raided many cities before, and evidently I am a much better player than you based on this video.
Intentionally stepped on a Shrieker, never have seen a single person do that. Decided to loot a chest for some reason even though they always spawn nearby, and then you just wait for the Sonic Blast despite him still making the aggression aggro noises that he’s after you instead of still running and waiting for the noises that he lost track of you lol
@@x3nd3r full netherite armor and elytra but you don’t know how the ancient city works 😂 Yet you stood still so confident without even knowing where the warden was ??
