Obak valobasa again came Through Coke Studio Bangla season 3.

Intro guitar solo was done by Russel Ali. The one who was an ambassador of Ibanez also played with bands like Limpbikzit and many other international stars. He left warfaze to pursue higher studies after the second album.

Coke studio bangla just released their version of obak BHALOBASHA And I don't think i have to say anything as to how good it is Pure goosebumps ❤

Just couple of things, it's not flute, this is a multi functional keyboard/synthesizer played by Russel Ali brother of another legendary pianist Romel Ali Bhai (who happens to be my daughter's piano guru as well ) I had the opportunity to watch this live in concert back in mid 90s

One of The best bangla band song in term of music and also in term of lyrics. Still I love to listen the older version, and it takes me back to my childhood. And one suggestion, try to listen this song at a relatively less populated beach at night time... You'll definitely find the meaning of life...

This songs recorded instruments was Only Keyboard, Lead Guitar, Bass and Drums and Guitarist and Keyboardist was 1 person (Mr. Russel Ali) and you guys have no idea how he plays all those things. This flute sound is made from Keyboard not flute and that time I was connected with warfaze. Warfaze all founder members like an institutions individually....and I think already you knew Obak valobasha again in Coke Studio Bangla. Babna Karim vi 1st connected with listener by his first track 'Bicchinno Abeg' and it’s really still awesome

There a story behind this song. The singer composer Babna Karim lost his brother who crashed his air force plane.. they were very close which devastated him thus inspired him to create so many master pieces

Brothers Haris & Hammad, I would like to make a special request to you to listen to and react to a vintage Bangla pop/ jazz number done by an unknown band named "Member's Only". The Gen Z listeners should geta chance to listen to this composition. They delivered only one, single album and afterwards went overseas for studying. The song title is "Bhebe Dekho" meaning contemplate. This song and the album dates back to late the 80's and early 90's. The music is very distinctive jazzy style with many complex beat changes and chord structures that were unusual in the Bangla pop scene at that time (and still are). This particular track is especially popular and has a wonderful soaring keyboard price towards the end. Guitarist & Keyboardist Reza Khan is now well known in the US Smooth Jazz scene (with his band Painted Diaries) with many recent excellent CDs with his unique sound. The video was also done by them with a handycam type 8 mm video camera. I absolutely didn't have any idea how could they manage such a cam and did the editings that time.
