cause I reminded him of the forgotten weapon since it is my fav weapon that became relevant with the status changes , new mods, and enemy armor nerfs (Preston321)
Wolf sledge has always been decent. Basically a hammer shaped glaive. It is also frequently bugged on updates because the special way it's damage is calculated.
@@YoureMadBozo71 exactly 💪 that is the true endgame, trying to make all weapons viable. Even better to do now we have the circuit and a place you’re encouraged to use all of your kit 💪
The only problem I have with blast is how it, like gas and electric needs to shine, it also needs enemies close by to chain reaction the blast procs. Sampotes also works really well with Blast and the new arcane Melee Afflictions and a corrupt charge/heavy slam centered build. It’s much slower than Gaz’s Sledge, but quite accessible. Also for players that want to get the wolf’s sledge, just trade for it. The sheer amount of nightwave credits needed for the beacons is seriously stupid.
Pretty sure that was patched months ago edit: 'Fixed the Wolf Sledge’s Heavy Attack/throw not consuming its combo counter. Also fixed its combo counter getting stuck after detonating it mid-flight.'
One of my most used melees. Definitely a personal favorite. I got it during the event and got lucky with a riv at that time so it’s been really strong since I’ve had it. It also wasn’t affected by the dual wield bug where you couldn’t use an incarnon secondary with a glaive. I’m glad it’s even stronger now.
Wolf sledge's throw is actually affected by attack speed not heavy att wind up speed bcs the actual throw and the explosion are considered 2 separate things 🤔. So since the explosion is instantaneous & considered heavy attack wind up speed isn't really needed, could save you some mod slots 😊👍
I think after update it's changed Update 36.0 (2024-06-18) As a result of this change, it is now easier to activate Tennokai with Glaives in the window it is available. Prior to this change, the second swing could prevent you from hitting Tennokai before the timer ran out. This also fixes multiple issues with thrown weapons and Tennokai: Fixed Wolf Sledge not benefitting from Heavy Attack Wind Up Speed Mods or Tennokai’s Wind Up Speed bonus. Fixed instances where the Wolf Sledge’s Tennokai Heavy Attack would not complete (the animation would halt halfway-through and leave players stuck mid swing until they Melee attacked again).
@@shivamradadiya5566 Wind up speed affects it only when not using a stance, so that's probably the part they fixed. Regular throws are still sped up by attack speed not wind up. This is very easily tested. Just equip wind up mods and notice no change in throw, then equip attack speed and watch your throw speed go ham.
I'm still kinda new to the sledge but I've always though it was cool. I think the Xata's Whisper skill will keep the hammer in the bubble for an extra hit, so you can get 2 hammer direct impacts and then detonate it. I found it a bit hard to time the explosion to actually land so this helps me with consistency, idk if Xata's Whisper actually does anything for damage but anything to make the game more comfy =w=)b
1:20 oddly enough, you actually did less than half the damage with your combo maxed here compared to the clip just before Also try modding blast on the Orvius, orvius forces cold on aoe so you can deal blast and also aoe freeze enemies at the same time
I don’t have friend with nidus so I was hoping you could test this for me if you use jades power strength boost then nidus use his power boost jade can you recast it and have even higher power strength and if you can could you do it endlessly?
Ok this is happening to me right now, I copied my friends build which is similar to this.. he can clear simulcrum instantly on first throw with no buffs. The only diff is my melee influence is only r3… so I decided to add sacrificial pressure and I get better damage but it’s always around 100k max, I’m really bummed I spent a ton of time and play building it… and like you said sometimes it does virtually no damage like 500 damage or none at all. Doesn’t matter if I detonate it or let it hit the target
@@Coo1gle No. It isn't. The throw speed is modified only by normal melee swing speed mods like Fury and Quickening. Killing Blow does nothing for Wolf Sledge. Test it yourself, it's not hard.
Hey dude I don’t know it’s me problem or it barely hit any thing when I’m not solo or being the host . Theres no blast radius no enemy tracing just direct hit.
Just bought a riven cause of this video and rolled it real quick got +electric +damage to grineer +combo duration MINUS IMPACT if someone wants it let me know
