Another interesting thing about frosts snow globe is that if enemies hit a wall after being pushed back by it they will take percentage damage, so if you prime them with viral before you cast it you can do millions of damage with it and one shot them, its kinda inconsistent but pretty funny still

Been using frost for awhile just cause I honestly enjoy his simple kit, it’s nice that he’s getting buffed along with my second prime I had gotten when I was new being ember.

Icy Avalanche with it's overguard also makes PSF kinda obsolete, you know?

Frost was my OG with my longest playtime for a very long time (only replaced with Wukong somewhat recently due to his efficiency in so many mission types). Glad to see hes finally getting a little love!

A few things I'd like to see given to Trinity. 1. Increase to base duration of Link. 2. Energy Vampire augment giving Overguard instead of Overshield. 3. Link being recastable. 4. Increase Blessings Damage Reduction from 75% max to 90% max. She's completely outclassed by today's standards and these small tweaks is really all she'll need to be competitive.

I have my own method of madness when it comes to using the cold status procs on Frost but its great to see him in the limelight as he is right now thanks TP

I've been running a completely minimal strength build with both of the arcades you mention, minus the sentinel and it's given me a lot more versatility. Paired with nourish and I have no problem killing literally everything. Edit: I do run precision intensify so I have the max armor strip before building stacks for molt augmented and I do have 3 red archon shards.

I could be interested in playing around with piercing and cold combos. Just maximum crit debuffs.

In the before times I was a Frost main. It's like meeting an old friend after some time has passed, and now they are in great shape, got a good job, and dropped all thier bad habits.

I played with frost/strun prime(incarnon, riven) with the new arcane and primary frostbite yesterday. The results were fucking beautiful

You know, I had my Frost with the Lavos ability replacing his Snow Globe and built him specifically for disruption missions. Now with the changes to him that build is now way better.

Frost was always about armor stripping but the new changes add a lot of new synergy and qol with his abilities

frost + strun incarnon = red crit with !! insane aoe damage, crowd control, armor strip, a dream come true

My glaxion has magnetic cold corrosive rad, t with diriga verglass shivering contagion, cold corrosive rad, its ridiculous, frost is un stoppable

Man these updates bringing back the OG frames are amazing. Absolutely love Ember's rework and now Frost may be my go-to tank/cc frame once again. He hasn't been that for me in years.

i don’t have frost prime but i might try out the sentinel build and glaxion one, my build is already insane as it is but the fun of exploring never stops

Since you can shoot through the globes now i realize they are great for moving objectives too like the jade activity, just chain globes together

So another frame I saw that got big buffs from the element changes would be Gauss as he benefits from the armor changes and the ice changes. (edit) Also might take a look a zephyr for the blast changes as well.

Frost snd Ember emerged from the ashes in this patch, as well a few more thanks toothed new changes to element status and decades.

I been playing on Frostie with Freeze Force augment rather than subsuming Xata’s, I replaced Frost Wave with Parasitic Armor (converts shields into armor, conversion increases more with power strength) and used Arcane Battery (gains a certain amount of bonus max energy the more armor you currently have) and Arcane Guardian (more armor). Using primed redirection, idr if I have primed steel fiber on him or not l, and the augments for his 1 and 4, around neutral duration and negative efficiency, enough strength to get about 4.5k armor from Parasitic alone I can usually get 4 to 5k overguard just from the few stragglers you can find in any start of mission. If it’s steel path tho, two casts and I usually cap the around 40k overguard on him. I remember complaining to my mates on how lackluster he seemed to be on getting that overguard up and running but the changes to the augment and the access to the needed arcanes, thanks to the operation belly of the beast, made it so much easier. Cycling it to refresh/top up the overguard is also much easier now as well, so I’m loving Frostie once more

2:30 thank god (any god you the reader get to pick your faith 😊) this has been so needed now all we need is for limbo to get this same treatment aka let players shoot both into and out of limbos bubble. 4:19 so beforehand I did consider his 1 a must keep so you can fix a misplaced bubble (it surprised me just how meny didn’t know it broke his bubble) but now we can freely shoot into it it’s basically a open slot.

The other CC frames have become more usable with the changes to magnetic, magnetic now counters overguard.

I just played the new Frost for the first time in SP Circuit, and he was a monster. No enemies had armor, everyone had tens of thousands of overguard, and no one could move. I really enjoyed the tweaks they did, and I got a lot of use out of Arcane Ice Storm.

They should do more with that collision damage feature. It’d be interesting if that damage type was more applicable on some other frames

gotta mention Frost´s second ability conclave augment i think it is... Ice Wave Impedance that leaves a blanket of ice after the initial cast, stacking even more cold stacks

I will say some projectile weapons don't go through bubbles stacked next to each other well, such as bramma, arca, or sometimes even the chakurr or lex incarnon. Not surprising seeing as projectiles have always been weird but hopefully that gets fixed

I have Tested Same build with nourish on first. With magnatic Tent Glexion. Frost is Best CC and Damage Frame Now. I used Health Conversion Mod for more Tankiness on Snowglob. Did 200 kill per min. Before Jade Shadow I have never used Frost But now he is my go to for Long missions. Also I don't have PSF.

I didn’t know there was a point to more damage on armor striped enemies I just use mag pull to group now that frozen enemies can be pulled

I may finally cave and trade for Icy Avalanche... I have definitely been enjoying the reworked elements. It has been cool to see some of the older Warframes getting improved over time and I hope DE continues to do so. In a similar vein to Frost, I think retooling Banshee to make use of Blast status would probably be a good way to buff her. I'm still holding out hope for some improvements to Oberon.

The only downer for me with Frost's glow up here is that I know how great the Verglas would be, but I love my kubrow with the matching armour set for the Harka skin! I'm so torn! Of course, now that I know that the new Arcane Ice Storm gets jammed up by the sentinels applying status, maybe once I have that maxed out it'll make the choice easier. Heh.

Xaku is only like one of the strongest frames in the game. Weird to think someone with multiple defense denial zones and infinitely scaling damage would be weak

PSF isn't really needed tbh, you already have overguard and if that fails there's both brief respite and shield gating keeping you safe long enough to recast avalanche and reapply overguard so just about anything else can go there instead. Another fun option would be going for Precision Intensify to boost avalanche as other Frost's abilities don't rely that much on ability strength but his 4 wants as much strength as you can get to get overguard cap as high as possible. As for helminth, subsuming his 2 for a grouping tool opens up an opportunity to have a go with the reworked blast for literally deleting whole groups of enemies. Frost is in such a good spot right now and and I love it

I really wish I had been able to get that frost skin when it was available. Now every time I look at him I just see a missed opportunity and can't play him.

Seeing the older frames getting just the right amount of love and attention to be brought up to snuff gives me hope Valkyr will eventually get some love. No amount of falling out of the meta will ever make her any less my main warframe, but it'd be nice to get some reconsideration of her abilities and how she should work as a melee berserker warframe, especially in light of more recent melee-oriented warframes.

It's cool that they're finally really leaning into the elemental aspect of elemental frame abilities rather than just have it be imaginative. First Hydroid, now Ember and Frost. Hopefully Volt and others come soon after cuz it shouldn't be anywhere close to as hard to do as an actual rework and not take much away from the frames that do need a lot of work like Nyx.

It is now officially illegal to play Frost without a Glaxion or Tenet Glaxion

why not use the glaxion augment replacing vital sense ...you get 20% chance of energy orbs for 0.3 crit dmg multiplier this would ease the energy issues maybe even to the point of being able to replace some of the other energy generators in the build

Helstrum with fire rate, reload speed, primed firestorm I believe is a better option. Get a riven eith multishot, reload speed, fire rate and you have a really good roll for it.

So while I would love for my trinity to get a much needed buff she is still in a useable state meanwhile we have frames like Caliban that just don’t work, I pick him out above the likes of Oberon because while clunky still is kinda useable if not good but cal is just broken as far as most players feel. When I levelled him I couldn’t wait to throw him into Audrey2 even though I’ll never use his skill whatever it is but I’m a collector so I can’t have an empty slot I can only hope that by the time he is up for a prime they have done something with him.

i think Xaku is fine, i run level cap steel path with him easily, make sure you use gaze twice to armor strip everyone around you

Someone mocking him for use prime foot! I use it too because it is worth! Overguard work like a mini shield gate at( not too) high lv. You can test yourself at event map and waitj lv 165 sp burn out even 50 k overguard( dante). So few thousand overguard from frost( and ember) is not for tank ( and prevent status too). Guest what? I even use condemn on frost because it give shield and some cc( can work on acolyte)

You dont need adaption because targets are frozen most of the time. Also overguard augment its so good

I don’t think you need primed sure footed if you can maintain the overgaurd consistently
