Nah man, umbra was a dax soldier who went “out of line” and was fitted with a transference bolt (an item that allows him to be transferred into). Warframes in general require orokin components + organic components (nanospores and plastids) to form the shell and underlying “flesh”. The helminth essentially heals the warframe and provides maintenance on the flesh structures of the warframe.

@@normallymute0131 I would normally follow this line of thinking, but the... what was it called? Vitruvian. That thing explains in some part their creation which leads me to believe that... well at the very least the first Warframes, possibly most Warframes, were made with the use of unwilling volunteers. I could be entirely wrong but considering how fucked up the Orokin are I don't think so.

The very original warframes, the umbras, were people infused with infested. You can see this with excalibur umbra's helmet and cutscene where his helmet is broken. So to Helminth, the warframes are the original infested and are their masters. Hope that cleared things up.

Rocco242 actually there are theories flying around that the Void itself is an entity and has its own agenda. I think it's puppeting us like we are controlling our Warframes.

Wolf A.E.G but warframe do have they're owned habits and behaviors the operator can control the movement of a warframe but not the behavior. Anyways it's not official but that kind of detail would be cool don't you think? It would be more cool if warframe have they're mind of they're owned when we get out the suits as Tenno. The operator and warframe fighting next together? Sound so cool but in game the warframe will just become a specter just following you around. They should add it, but allow players to command it. Like tell it go over there simpler how portal 2 co-up did how to point. And use the F1 F2 F3 F4 keys for activating warframe abilities while your out of the frame.

well tecnicaly the plains are just apart of earth and earth has been around sence before the orokin the lung fish was probably put on the orbiter with the other fish and all the water in an attempt by the orokin to make the orbiter its own self sustaining eco ststem with oxigen and what not, for them to fly around in and the helminth was put in after the warframe project to help keep the technosyte in the warframes healthy and in control. the lung fish probably just if an evolved catfish from earth, it has nothing to do with the helminth other then keeping the little eco ststem in that room in check and feeding the helminth when fish die of old age.

And our choices will change his dialogue , if we are bad and secure to our void demon , he will say that there is evil whitin this demon , if good that there is good inside this demon , yet wen we are balanced he talks of the demon in 3rd person , he says it only fears the void demon , yet he serves us , I he was really that scared of us why would he serve us ? Indus or not the operator is still the same , he shouldnt be afraid.

Rodrigo Santos that's one possible interpretation of his dialogue but he speaks of "this demon" in many cases, which indicates he's differentiating between one of many different beings. And as to why he's scared of us? We can fire a beam of void energy from our fingertips, which can obliterate everything in the warframe universe. The last time Tenno were active they beat down the Sentients and systematically destroyed everything the Orokin had built up. He fears us because he's seen what we are capable of, and he serves us because in doing so, he continues to exist, and is able to work with the (largely inert) Infested material that composes our warframes. I think it's somewhat more likely that he sees the man in the wall's influence as the "shadow" or "darkness" he references so often
