I love that there are so many neutral damage type now, it used to vary so heavily so you were either doing well or poorly. Now there’s enough neutral damage types that you’re bound to be doing ok no matter the circumstances, it’s more about the status effects than the damage type which is great.

Now that we have a miniature version of the "Arsenal" in the navigation menu, only laziness prevents someone from diversifying.

You can also go to the star chart and hovering over the mission you want to do will display the strengths and weaknesses of the faction inhabiting the node.

Magnetic & Toxin together is pretty overkill but slays Corpus with ease, both their health & shields are erased with just one tap/3sec hold. Also glad you're feeling better dude 👍

I just use a boltor with blast, because, having the only subfaction that resist the element locked into one planet, and on top of being the new risen hero of elemental damage, yeah i can finally live my dream of having explosive bullets with my favorite guns.

Great vid. I would love to see a video on the new blast and which weapons to use it on.

I've been having a great time with messing around with elements on my weapons this week. Corrosive/Blast is great fun, Magnetic/Heat on a hybrid Atomos Incarnon is a great universal sidearm, with the Magnetic tearing through Overguard and Shields, and Heat doing a respectable number on armour now. And don't get me started on what those new Elementalist mods do for Saryn (and on the Sobek...as if it wasn't nuts before). I love that we really have options now. Great update.

New blast plus the orange shards is really nice, easy health or shields and it stacks with arcane blessings so even more health

My current favorite new weapon is Incarnon Synoid Gammacor, stacking cold damage on magnetic with Secondary Fortifier against Eximus so they insta-freeze on strip, then murdering them with the extra critical damage.

It would be great to get a video analyzing the new status effects and arcanes. I feel like there are some combos we're likely overlooking(like frost).

Funnily enough, I thought that the way it is now is the way it always has been so I built towards that anyways lol. Oh well. xD. Thanks for the update haha. At least this way I can do what I always wanted to do with my weapons, have a couple versitile ones, and build the others towards "I'm going to be fighting X" with that weapon. and I LOVE that.

Something I'd like to see out of the channel is a bit more variation in the types of Warframe buffs you show off, I've only ever seen you use Harrow or Lady Mirage Prime for that portion of the builds video.

On your note of Magnetic, you can combine it with Xata's Whisper/Silence (both if you play Banshee or Xaku) and make hilarious work of Exiums units. Add in Null Audit and the new Secondary Fortifier arcane and you can turn Eximus units into survival tools for squishier frames.

You can also see the suggested damage on the star chart now when selecting a node/mission.

Imma need to remember to update my eidolon hunting weapons...

EG for a fun time, if you have a Magnetic Tenet Agendus, throw Gas and Electric on it with Melee Influence. Its gone from being a near-bench weapon until I could be bothered to farm enough to get a good element, to being the single strongest melee I have. (Note that the sword+shield stance has some nice forced slash procs that make it extra juicy) Also, try a (Heat-based, in my case) Tenet Arca Plasmor, building for Humu+Gas+Cold for primary frostbite.

back in my day all you really needed to know was gas and slash. that would carry you pretty much anywhere

Exergis actually feels pretty good now with cannonade and elementalist vs all factions

The best gem I found in this update so far is the kunai incarnon with secondary shiver as the arcane. Using it on frost, even a budget build can spam multi million damage auto aim headshots.

Leyzar, got a question for my Torid I was running corrosive and cold with primary frostbite; should I swap for rad toxin and go primary blight for an arounder build, or is corrosive cold still pretty good?

I have noticed something a bit frustrating while playing Xaku recently. it is now absolutely crucial that you get the Xata's Whisper bubble proc on a head shot otherwise your damage will tank. I noticed that while playing the Xaku with Boltor Prime Incarnon which tends to spray it's projectiles in Incarnon mode. The HP of enemies goes down super fast until the bubble pops on a part that is not the head, then it takes noticably longer to reduce the HP bar to 0, like hitting a wall. It's almost better to not use Xata's Whisper if you have a low accuracy weapon. Might also be a buggy interaction with the bubble?!

I've been putting blast on everything cause it feels too fun. Magnetic is also satisfying because of the electric procs when you destroy a shield or overguard. My new "all rounder" favorite element however is electric, because it isn't weak against anything and melts the murmur.

I just use Saryn with my tenet glaxion 😅. My favorite build I came up with allows me to deal corrosion, gas, cold, toxin, and magnetic damage types. I don’t even need to slap viral stacks on enemies anymore 🤣🤣🤣

After extensive testing, Viral + Heat (vs Armor) and Viral + Electricity (vs anything elese) are still king. Even Corrosive falls short, but Magnetic got pretty good due to dmg to overguard. They still need to do adjustments to the new system, most elements remain pretty useless or niche.

So do you think it's worth buying 2 extra loadout slots (total of 5) on all the weapons you use just so you have a set for each faction?

I came back after like a year and a half and was SUPER confused what was going on with the resistanced and why i suddenly dropped from full to death within seconds against enemies that i knew I could beat without even looking at them. This answers one of those things. I am assuming changes was made to player warframes as well but I cannot seem to find it anywhere, must be tied to the resistances and elemental changes. It did make me quit again though, until there is any info to go from on what happened to warframes and why they are so squishy now.

I will be very honest, viral is even more powerful now, because armor has been capped at 90% reduction, they increased HP by 90%, so those stacks of viral are now more important, before when you strip armor the enemy only had a small HP and perished quickly, now even if you strip it, there is 90% more health, before one stack of viral was enough to double damage, but now having the whole 325% is ideal, even if the enemy takes half damage of viral, 325 x 0.5 = 162% damage, pretty good. Taking this change in armor, a lot of weapons and arcanes that suffered by armor are more reliable now, take arcane empowered with its 750 damage matching, even at 90% armor it will do 75 damage, and so many secondarys dont get number as base or even higher with mods, so those can be used for fun, meta weapons are still strongest, but now we can use our Meme weapon with ease, even the infame IPS is now neutral to most and is not "lost damage" anymore.

I simply changed everything to status based builds. Corrosive + Radiation + Cold + Slash (Hunter Munitions). It just melts any faction. No need to faction mods or change builds for specific missions. Easy peasy.

Do you have any resources for returning players? I stopped playing around the time update 30 came out and clearly a huge number of things have changed since then.

Honestly kinda liked the old system because it was so convoluted that I didn't care, now it kinda bothers me that most of my mesa's damage hits like a wet noodle against sentients, and that flying Mesa is gonna at base hit kuva units like she's throwing nerds instead of rocks

So are Status DMG mods worth it if you don't wanna use a faction mod? Or is it better just using other mods like Hammer Shot? (Rifle mod with 60% Crit DMG and 80% Status chance)

What about acolytes? What damage type is effective against them?

Still confused why they swapped puncture and impact on grineer and corpus, puncture into armor made sense, and grineer having impact weapons to fight corpus and corpus having puncture weapons to fight grineer made sense too.

Kek I ignored ALL of that and just went with Viral/Hunter Mumu or Slash on everything.

What about bosses with so they are a bit different I do what is required and some bosses are just way powerful even torrid has issues

Tbh Even if it does make a difference, it's not really needed Had my builds for 3 years, never changed them and still do more damage than those who do It's nice to try out though
