The Duviri Paradox is out now: wrfr.me/yt-forcegaming-duviri Use my promo code to claim a Duviri Paradox Starter Pack bundle: DUVIRI-LOID. Thanks to #warframe for sponsoring this video!
Warframe may have a high barrier of entry but if you can get into the lore combined with the amazing gameplay it is one hell of an experience. Some of these quests are some of the most memorable I've ever experienced in a game.
Source: trust me. The devs said multiple times, Soulframe is not gona be like Duviri Paradox, literally the only thing they have in common is that both are 3rd person and both have swords.
@@MEYH3M except they recently showed some Soulframe combat... and it's looked 90% exactly like Drifter melee combat. Which is not a bad thing! But it definitely is a fact.
@@Hanna-fh7bi Because that was just proof of concept, it's not even pre alpha, and they specifically said that specific build is using borrowed Warframe assets like animations, the combat system, modals... Soulframes combat system doesn't even exist yet or is at least at very early stages of development.
My main issue with this game is it feels nearly impossible to learn it as a brand new player. There's so many systems and mechanics that just feel daunting every time I try to get back into it. Especially when compared to how it released in it's vanilla state.
honestly i got into it last year and ii felt like that at first but then i understood everything by using the wiki , trying things myself or just asking some other players questions in the official discord server , it kinda adds up to the fun of it as dumb as it sounds
To be fair, in its vanilla state, it was nothing more than a stylish corridor shooter with a fraction of the speed or features. Of course it was easy to learn back then. I'm glad it's gotten so full of new systems. Yes, it can be a lot to learn, but I think most GOOD 10 year old games that have added this amount, or more, content should assume that it's better experienced alongside someone who can be a guide. Learning is part of the experience, and I feel like what this game asks is wholly worth the time it takes.
I just started a week ago and I've fallen in love with the game. It is one of the most fun games I've played recently! I've legitimately lost interest in the other game I was playing almost instantly because of the fun I'm having playing this.
A few things to add/clarify: -The "normal difficulty" version of the Circuit awards you with a set of Warframe blueprints of your choice from among 3 per week (as well as some important mods and an arcane). However, the Steel Path/hard mode difficulty Circuit can award you two Incarnon Adapters per week, which can be used to beef up many older weapons into being endgame viable. So far, most have proven to be amazing. -New players can start this content as well, as they'll be given a choice if they want to start from the normal Warframe Path starting point that the game has started from for years (once they get a couple quests in, then Duviri unlocks). However, if they start from the Duviri Paradox path, the quest serves as a mysterious prologue and tutorial for what you'll face in the rest of the game. Hopping back and forth having a lot of value for newer players to acquire materials, resources, blueprints and weapons from more sources. Unrecognizable is accurate, but I'm glad that it doesn't invalidate or mess up the already great gameplay Warframe has, and the randomness in the rogue-lite aspect adds a small twist of difficulty to make things more interesting, compared to the normal routine of jacking oneself up to max, steamrolling the content and getting boring.
@@OmniDan26 You must be the same guy that gets mad when ur weapons dont one shot and aoe at the same time. Even though you're wrong, imagine caring about the meta with this typa game
man I remember playing this like ten years ago just clearing different starships with my friend, didn't pay attention to any of the story and still enjoyed it
i have you to thank for introducing me to Warframe , back when u were doing coverage on the closed beta ; so thanks for that =] , im pretty honored to have been able to have helped fund/support this truly amazing and unique game during its most vulnerable/experimental period
1:22 Ah, sponsored after all. I was wondering about that. The phrasing seemed very talking pointy, but you hadn't mentioned a sponsor yet. And I got distracted thinking about implementing iconography in videos to indicate things like: Video sponsored, game received or bought, hardware received or bought, etc, and when in a RU-vid career to implement something like that. I got stuck wondering how you'd even make icons for that that are obvious, when I got to 1:22 and rejoined the video.
There’s actually already one in place. Beyond the verbal and written sponsor in the description. Soon as you boot up the video for 15 seconds RU-vid places a ‘Sponsored’ overlay in the upper left corner.
You are right, I guess I either tune out RU-vid overlays or I shouldn't see it on desktop. That said, it says "contains", not that the intro is the talking points. I don't fault you for paying the bills, by the way. I was just wondering how I'd do it. Maybe the way Colin Furze announced his Warframe sponsorship. I was mainly trying to remember some icons I saw someone use at some point. I think it was a make up RU-vidr, and I figured the iconography wouldn't carry over well.
Best Decree in Steel Path is Persistent Attrition in my experience. This undoes the enemies' building resistance to your attacks, plus increases your damage over time to each enemy.
It's honestly really dependent on what loadout you get. Citrine/Amprex/Nukor is great with Close Contagion. If you get a half decent melee, Majestic Strike is an instant pick. Frost benefits from all the cold decrees. Ember benefits from the fire AOE decree
@@TenebrisTemporis In Steel Path, the best builds right now tend to focus on melee (and buffing melee like crazy), Uber crit, or Uber status. (And mainly the lattermost. Just for clarification, I'm referring to SP Duviri Circuit setups here, not normal Steel Path, although this mostly applies there too) Most AOE dmging abilities become useless fast -- unless you're Mesa or Nova (and a couple others), and you have to be prepared to spam a LOT with either of those, although that's also a playstyle that works VERY well if you can get comfortable with it. The best elements to focus on are Viral (for low-mid status %) Slash, and Corros (if you need armor-stripping power) Also Heat and Toxin for single elements. (Bombastine's Malice is really good if you're going for gun headshots) In Duviri, thanks to Decrees, you can generally just run status + Blood Rush and Healing Return on your melee, then collect the melee Decrees and you can basically survive forever xD (but you have to stack quite a few melee Decrees for melee to really shine) But I still highly suggest Persistent Attrition bc as you grind up rounds of the Circuit, enemies still get tougher. PA offsets this nicely and stacks with ALL other damage output Decrees. EVERYBODY benefits from the Cold decrees too -- I like to grab the one that adds Cold damage on Crit (since crit buff decrees are commonplace) then stack the one that massively increases damage to enemies affected by cold status. It's an easy CO effect that stacks onto Crit. GG You can also armor-strip with abilities like Hildryn's Pillage or Nekros' Terrify (Both of which are Helminth infusible I believe) I would HIGHLY recommend gaining access to your Helminth via the Cambion Drift area on Deimos BEFORE jumping into Steel Path Duviri -- it's much easier to be able to do Duviri SP runs with different Warframes normally not well-suited to the endless modes you encounter in the Undercroft if you can also Infuse them with new abilities. Another thing to consider is that with every week we progress further with this update, more Incarnon Adapters will be on the table for players -- and those weapons are already cycling into the Circuit if you have them. I've gotten my Latron, Lato and Lex Incarnons multiple times in SP Circuit. So this will get easier with time xD
"The Lone Story" is great because the "Pathos Clamp" resource is only from the Wyrm Boss. The other mode "The Duviri Experience" might never get to that point as people are doing side stuff and exploring. The Circuit never does the fight.
I've tried to get into Warframe a few times in the past, and can never find anyone willing to play fresh with me, so I end up solo. The few times I would use the group finder, people wouldn't wait for the new guy to learn where to go/how to get palces w/ the speed boosts and whatnot and I'd just get left behind. Turned me off of the game. I'd love to play it, but I want to play it with people that are knowledgeable about the game and don'tjust leave you behind.
Just play solo through the starchart. You don't need help these days except maybe a few bosses. Other people will ruin your fun until you have a vague idea of what there actually doing.
Either I'm stupid or the marketing on this wasn't great. I had no idea that there was going to be a bunch of roguelike things after the main story. That peaks my interest greatly! I love Warframe but usually don't want to play it for 100+ hours to make some real progress on frames and weapons. I just want to have that crazy fun Warframe experience. Seems like this update was for me!
men, i dont know, but the developers of warframe really know how to make game, im seeing this video with gameplay and, it looks good, the interface, the combat, you are not seeing something because i pay attention to details, but, there are some camera effects on combat, the particules, the cloths moving, all those details just make the game look better, not only that, warframe looks as good a AAA game and it runs on a laptop, believe me, i selled electronics before and any laptop runned warframe.
I havent played warframe in awhile. I never got into it hardcore but i enjoyed the gameplay and world. The game was just a little too confusing or overwhelming when i got into it. This looks like a great way back into the game. Just asking but for those who have played do you think this mode is robust enough to the point you dont really need to touch the original game or is it just "side content" that will run dry after awhile? I know its kind of oxymoronic bc it has rogue like elements, im just wondering as a player who left awhile ago
just try it out, you got nothing to lose except some free time. if you dont like it, stop, and play something else. but dont be affraid of getting informed about the games content and game modes, mechanics, loot etc. and never hurts asking questions to the community. have fun
It might get a little repetitive since it's only three gamemodes, but to me the nice scenery, BGM, etc., make up for it. There's also a reason Duviri is one of two starting points
You do "the lone story" when you are Oroworm farming, so you can get to the boss as quickly as possible to get the unique resource it drops. Duviri Experience will have you waiting to advance to the next stage while players are fishing or playing the shawzin, it takes too long.
They should really make legacy frames and legacy rare mods free for new players. I played on PS4 back in 2013 when I had time, so I have a nice arsenal and resource cache to go back to it. NO WAY I see myself playing this brand new with all the new content and mechanics, at 37 years old working 50 hours a week.
warframe is a game designed to take your time through content unless you have to much free time and want to got hardcore with it. having said that, videogames are meant to fill in your free time... if dont have much free time or none at all, there is no point to even bother playing games like these, and just play some other much more casual game.
one thing to note is that the circuit is also good for leveling mastery for both warframes and weapons this is important up till mastery 16 at which point you can use every weapon, also if you pick something you don't own you wont get any mastery exp, i maxed 6 warframes in like 2 days, not no life-ing, the circuit is now the fastest way to get mastery and maybe even frames you also get arcanes and mods from it so its good for new players just dont no life it so you wont get burnout
it's time for the yearly sponsored add for WF , gotta love it when people who find the game not for them do vids where they say "i can see the appeal " dollar dollar bill yo
@@ForceGamingYT Yea , just quickly looking at the vids on the channel ; 8 vids over 10 years . Looking at your profile : 54 hours played , and MR - 8 over the course of 10 years... Dude that's dipping a toe to make a vid , not i love this game in terms of hours / progress . heck your Nova is undecorated , fashion frame is endgame . I'm not saying that your unfamiliar, just that this vid was a paycheck and not biased on showing off a game that you love. Not saying the vid was wrong in fact it was a great showcase ,but 54 hours in any mmo over 10 years , that's tourist level of dept in terms of play time . (edited for grammar and clarity )
Oh right I should have clarified. I’ve also played tons of other games in the past 10 years. I prefer the variety to having thousands of hours in a single game, personally. Most of the time when I revisit Warframe it’s for 10-20 hours just to see the new stuff. I’ve also got 3-4 accounts, for I like starting from scratch to see the new player experience and how it’s changed. (I do the same with all the MMOs I play actually). Im not professing to be a Warframe expert by any means, regardless I still really enjoy the game. I have a fun time every time I come back, from a casual perspective. That’s a ok. Clan was made by TotalBiscuit, he had a good sense of humor. We played a ton back in the day. Miss that guy loads.
@@ForceGamingYT want to start off with i'm not in any way shape or form meaning this as a personal attack don't mean it like that at all , but dipping into any mmo , for those 10-20 hours it's like being a travel vacation reviewer ; ofc you'll have a great time visiting Paris, but you won't understand the city , just the best hotels and restaurants. The Paris i know is dirty and u don't want to go down the wrong alley Plus doing a sponsored cultivated vid i'm sure is a good time , but only getting the gear without he grind, it takes the goal of the gear chase out of the game. esp for WF which the chase is the game. And my initial reaction of " well another sponsored vid " , was mainly due to this vid hitting the same beats that alot the recent sponsored vids ie preach gaming , the lazy peon etc... Yall hit the same highlights and beats.
It 100% is, and elements of Warframe will live on in the new game. There's no way they'd create a whole ass mount system and just leave it. I hoping it'll be a more open world and melee focused Warframe, and we'll get customization and weapon grinding again
There's two things that keep me from playing Warframe. 1: The hyper-fast kinetic sliding movement BS as you rush and dice through everything gives me a literal headache after awhile and is simply NOT fun to me. I liked the game before 'coptering' was accidentally introduced into the game via a dual axe sliding attack animation. That later was combined with a warframes over-the-top mobility shenanigans. To make up the baseline play style and how quickly you move through the world and content. 2: The maze-runner style of the older content. Which, for some reason. Is still required when wanting to do the big "open world" content. Simply to unlock frames, weapons, and mods that you'll need on those maps to survive. Between those old tile-set maps of running through mostly corridors. As well as the nauseating break-neck speed that people will zip through said maps. It just isn't enjoyable to me. So, i've very much been looking forward to Soulframe. Which aims to be a slower paced game akin to what Warframe originally was. So, this update has GREATLY peaked my interest. As it seems I could get in and just play this content and enjoy the game at my pace. While still unlocking stuff. Good update devs!
i've always hated the camera this close, so the need of a such larger fov distorted everything around to be able to see what's going on, i really cant get why they didnt authorized more setting around that. Its the only reason i cant play this game. Its, TO ME, absolutely horrendous this camera "lock style"
bro i left the gsme when i couldnt get the parts for a necramech for the update that came way before and now i come to this. might as well start playing again
Please make a vid about what Snail Games just did to the Ark pvp community. It's in a complete uproar. I'm surprised not more people are talking about it because it's crazy time over in Ark.
So basically we got a new seperate game inside the game. Looks honestly pretty cool and all, but can't help to think warframe gets increasingly content bloated.
I'd rather it be more content than less. There are so many examples of live service games offering up either barely any content, the same content reheated, or both. Those games have either died (like Anthem, Marvel's Avengers or Outriders)...or died creatively (like Destiny 2 and Division 2). Warframe is obtuse and confusing because it's 10 years old. Anyone starting should do so with a friend or someone to guide them.
The problem is that warframe is either your full time occupation or you simply don't play it at all. It is a great game, but there is no "oh, I'll play 2 hours on Saturdays", it's just not a real option.
I actually exited. I haven't played Warframe since its second open world update that kind of fell flat for me and I haven't went back since. I hope I like this.
Game is a colossal time sink. There's almost *too* much content, and a lot of it is half-baked or just straight up abandoned by the devs. It's even worse than Destiny when it comes to onboarding new players, with its numerous convoluted systems and menus making it very inaccessible and overwhelming for anyone just starting out. I'd recommend anyone wanting to play something from this dev just wait for their next project.
to be fair parry, counters/finishers existed in the main game, its just so outpaced to use in these modern day musou-like gameplay of warframe outside duviri
the older i get the less time i have for the grind. I hate it. Open world games or anything that makes me grind is annoying. I want to be rewarded for playing not play to be rewarded. thats why call of duty is still so popular despite all the hate it gets every year with every release. You play the game and you unlock weapons, attachments, and streaks just playing. And then it also has the option for "extra" shit for people who can and choose to dedicate their time to the grind such as the extra special camos. Anything that is a time sink is something that saddens me. SOOOO many games i am interested in and want to play, but i REFUSE to because im not trying to dedicated hours upon hours upon hours of my life to this shit. basically im asking for a CoD game with the Destiny Gunplay.
Warframe is the grindiest game I have ever played and for some reason I don't think they've changed that. So I will pass until they make the game actually accessible and not a gigantic slog.
i love how every video on the duviri paradox doesnt mention that most of it is completely confined to the gamemode and apart from rewards doesnt effect the rest of the game
The drifter looks like the main character of DE's other game Dark Sector aged up Which is funny cause it's a game fans think of as a prequel but DE denies all the time
I do dislike the lack of melee combos like the Warframe stances have, even when they are super simplified now (Melee, forward melee, blcok melee, forward+block melee; hated stances with only 2 combos, but the Drifter has one weapon with one combo).
I won’t lie I’m not really that familiar with Crowflight, but I just looked up the term, and I don’t see how the gameplay in the divine paradox in any way resemble any of the definition at all I mean first of all, I’m pretty sure you can remain in the Davari Murdochs indefinitely. You don’t have to go back to the other day there’s no permanent character dad, it’s not a dungeon crawler, I read all the things that relate to the original rogue concepts don’t seem to really exist here I’m being serious, so I’m not trying to be critical of. How is this defined as a Roguelike
Really tried getting into duviri but the control scheme for the souls combat isn’t really clicking. Getting back into vanilla warframe has been more fun
I played for 300 hours in the past and quit due to have no idea what I am supposed to do and really lack of motivation and purpose. I also like roguelites and this might be a good reason to get back and dust off some of my favourite frames.
Same I just downloaded the game today I have absolutely no clue what I'm meant to be doing, ended up fashion designing my frames for a whole hour instead of actually playing the game, and I have to say they all look pretty dripped out now
Can you please recommend me an mmo that has features like Traha Global its the only decent MMO right now. MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA TO BE GOOD: 1. Good graphics 2. Good animations/skills 3. Free to play friendly meaning you can get EVERYTHING thru grinding, no locked features/gears/skills behind paywall 4. Must have contents like Guilds, raids, dungeons, PVP 5. MUST HAVE centralized server per geographical region not server 1-1000 6. Not gender locked 7. Flexible classes with variety of skills/builds per class 8. Movement is not like Albion where you need to click to move but you can use WASD to move. 9. Preferably non auto
Ok but doesn't this new player experience screw up the previous experience. Talk about a major spoiler. How does playing the rest of wf after this quest make any sense?
I liked warframe until I realized it’s a lot like RuneScape where you pretty much have to commit hours a day to get good cards to make endgame builds. It’s a good game if you want to main it, but I already have one game that I grind
This is the kinda reimagining/evolution I expected from Destiny by this point…instead it’s pretty much the same game from 8 years ago with slightly different ways to flip assets each expansion…
But I thought at the most basic level that means oh starting over so what’s your Carey with you? You said you carry with you I don’t understand that cause I thought rogue light. When you die you start over I thought that was the whole point is Roguelike, so most always included Bernadette This feels more like him. I need typical RBG progression fit from mighty you keep getting more and more powerful through the decrees, but isn’t that just like every other RPG progression it may be a different name and a different process but you just keep getting more and more Barbolt by upgrading your character adding skills and abilities upgrading your stats. You’re just adding the trees that are making you more more powerful, I guess I will figure it all out because I just downloaded it again now when I get back if you’re quiet, I will live get a look at what it all means but I’m just not really seeing how any of the obviously and probably you realize very controversial description of Roguelike, how any of those definitions are description apply to that, the most basic ones are there they usually contain Bernadette and that there are usually dungeon crawler how people are even called Diablo Roguelike, which I don’t understand just to put Dr. crawler but there’s certainly no permit that I want from cars you’re playing bat mold, there is a fold, including Perma dab so OK maybe that’s a man when they included Diablo but the majority of Devil game play Madden quick Bernadette, Jeff that use tha
I have just 1 problem with WF - for movement 90% of time you want to use the fast dash and its binded to ctrl+shift+w or something like that, and since you are spamming that every 2 sec the fingers really start to hurt after a while. And there doesnt seem to be any good place to rebind it since there are many keybinds needed
