Yeah i know right? usually im just used to new players only paying attention to the game play, and pay attention to the story like 30-40 hours in. Its pretty satisfying seeing someone actually interested in the story so early on
I skip every skippable cutscene and the ones I can’t skip pisses me off and make me wanna quit. I watch movies for stories I play games for the grind. Except red dead redemption 2 that has the best story in gaming
@@KillerWolf1324 Yeah but it gives the wrong impression to someone who doesn't know what they are. Those things drop a random assortment of every resource you might possibly need in PoE.
@@flopino they also give a lot of Meterials that are uncommon/rare fish materials and gems so saves some time from fishing and mining etc.. it's good to farm em if you don't wanna fish or mine for rare stuff
So, a nice little tip for when you're modding. Because most weapons have Impact, Puncture and Slash on them, upping those with dedicated mods doesn't have very good returns for the space they take up (except for niche builds). However, if you add on a damage type that's not native, like Toxin, Heat, Cold or Electric, it adds their damage as a percentage of your total base damage. So these mods are proportionally more powerful for the space they take up. Increasing the rank of the Elemental mods, then, is worth the Endo. A fully ranked Heat mod, for example, adds 90% damage as Heat, which will nearly double your total damage. With the Corrosive combo on (Electric and Toxin), you've nearly tripled it. In terms of damage increase, for the early game, this kind of thing is almost as powerful as the Multishot mods.
The basic damage mods seem to stack with the general increased damage mods multiplicatively rather than additively so depending on how skewed your weapon damage spread is, status damage mods could be outdone. Yeah, it wasn't that way in the past, but I've been grinding MR and experimenting with mod combos. I've noticed that's the way it's been working. Basically the best advice is experiment and use the extra load out slots to adapt for specific factions. You can get 50% more damage if you mod for a specific faction's weaknesses.
@@Ryan66437 You're not wrong to experiment more and take faction weaknesses into account, but I believe the point still stands. Adding 120% Slash to a weapon with 60 Slash, 20 Impact and 20 Puncture on it will give you 172 total damage to then add on something like Serration (with the switch up to how they stack, unlike before where it would just be combined with Serration). But add 90% Heat to it, and you get a total of 190 damage to then add Serration or other mods to. So, for early game where our Content Creator is, it works out as better use of his time. And then we can get into the more advanced status and damage type scaling later ^^
physical mods are almost never worth it unless you're looking to heighten slash proc frequency. The fact they are based off of the amount of that specific damage on the weapon, rather than the weapon's total damage like elemental mods, means that a 120% slash mod is more often than not much less than half the damage of even a 60% elemental mod :/ who knows *why* things are set up that way, it's just how it is.
@@Avoncarstien I know exactly why they were set up that way. It's because right up until the big Status Rework of 2023, the IPS damage types had 4x weighting for Status. So you would need 90 Heat to get it to proc more often than 20 Slash. And the original reason for this was that the older, slower version of Warframe actually did make the original Damage 2.0 IPS status types from Update 11 effective. Knock back and Weaken were actually useful due to the incredibly few methods we had of damage mitigation, plus Crowd Control really was king for a while. So for getting Bleeds, adding a 120% Slash mod used to be the most broken thing in the world. Because a weapon with 100 Damage with 40 of that being Slash would mean that even with 180 damage being added as Corrosive from two 90% mods would only barely make it proc Corrosive more often normally, while adding 120% Slash for 88 total Slash would mean that you'd need 352 damage of any Elemental to beat the proc weighting. Fairly nuts, at the time. Underwhelming currently.
Its nice seeing you play at your own pace instead of grinding through all the content as quickly as possible like most creators do. Its amazing watching a new players journey as someone who has played since 2016
For a few specific reasons, you will eventually want extra sets of blueprints for warframes, the biggest reason being a ship upgrade you can get from the deimos vendors
I left destiny 2 and a few weeks ago and came back to my old MR 10 account that I had. Havent looked back :) the games feels so much better now for some reason, seems like a lot of QoL changes mixed with me just having a new refreshed outlook on the game.
I started this warframe journey a day before you and have stayed about a day ahead of you on story and unlocking the game and planets. Been having a lot of fun so far
LITERALLY JUST MENTIONED HOW MUCH YOU'LL LOVE THE STORY😂 oh it's about to get heavy. Keep up the consistency and I'll be here every day to watch these vids And yea the movement getting crispy
Damade types that are good on the deimos open world is Gas (Heat+Toxin) and Blast(Heat+Cold). Chat gave you wrong info coz they forgot that it was changed a month or two ago
Heat still strong in infested Corrosive is also decent as a lot of Deimos enemies have armour so ye main damage is Gas/blast pet just procing Corrosive with the recent change of status and faction damage you want corrosive on your pet for it's effect
@@TheArcSet they simplfied it you don't have to build for Health/shield/armour type now it's just faction damage Now all armour/health/shield is the same
I accidentally came across your walkthrough, it became very interesting to watch a newcomer to Warframe. I hope you don't give up the game and I can see when you get to the craziest part of the story. Hello from Russia)
I've tried about 4 times to get into Warframe over the past 6ish years. Never been able to get into it because I felt overwhelmed and had no friends to play with. Your videos are making me wanna try again, but I am sure it will be dropped again soon...
@@Jenkzyxcuz he might spend time grinding the standings. Honestly its easiest for him to just grind the t5 for a bunch of mother tokens at once and then later just come to exchange for standing every day
I am actually loving watching this, warframe is such a good game and I’m enjoying watching someone play the story and start the game,it’s almost like I am reliving it
It's amazing to see a content creator enjoying the story quest or side quest in the game also does he know that the voidrig farm is going to be a bit hectic for getting the drops of the items that you need to build that bad boy
Actually it is pretty interesting to watch how a newcomer is struggling to farm standart frame being unaware of how much primes are cheaper and easier to get
@@rivershen8954so looks like they did update the drop rates of all mods it can drop, but still not much of a difference. Potential mods are Vigilante Offense 1.88% Vigilante Supplies 1.88% Gladiator Vice 1.88% Gladiator Finesse 1.88% Augur Secrets 1.88% Augur Seeker 1.88% Stinging Thorn 1.88% Target Acquired 1.88%
I have never been so invested in a series before in my life. I look forward to these video uploads so much I absolutely love this. Honestly loving the content change and watching you learn how to play.
Go get a combat stance. Hold the weapon swap, itll equip your melee and you can block by hitting aim. Also combat stances are like aura mods for your melee. And give you new combos, some even force proc status regardless of dmg typing. Like slash/bleed.
These videos made me want to check out your twitch and watch your vods to catch up, but as it turns out all your vods are subscriber only. Thanks but no thanks, too shameless for my taste really
its refreshing to see a new player actually mod their weapons. You have no idea how many new player videos have them running around on Phobos with unmodded weapons and stuff.
You're not ready to make gara, garuda or rev yet you need a lot of end game stuff it would take you a lot of time to gets these frames but the easy ones are the ones from the clan dojo and the ones you get from bosses
Open world feels like that, because depending where you are on the map the levels changes. On top of that it can feel like an endless mission given there's a "wanted level" like in gta that'll keep spawning enemies unless you destroy the beacons. So with those things combined there's likely more consistent and somewhat more sturdy enemies then you've been facing. Believe me when I tell you open world will eventually become just another back drop for missions as you progress. Generally speaking is the new game+ version of the game called steel path that gets most people's heart racing. Unless of course you cheese it with a few frames/gear setups that just make a mockery out of it.. but you are quite a ways from all of that, so enjoy the feeling while it lasts!
It's important to note as you get into higher level missions. Mercy kills are an instant kill with guaranteed health and energy. If you can get a mercy kill on a tanky enemy it's sometimes worth it to take it just to get them off the field more quickly. Less important when enemies are still low level like this. But later on it can be useful to know.
So funny seeing all the RU-vid people giving tips etc who are absolutely clueless to the fact he’s way beyond the progress of where this video is. He has already completed the sacrifice, he knows how to mod and all the basic stuff people are still trying to tell him about in the comments, it’s so funny to me how far apart the RU-vid and twitch worlds are.
Your taxons weapon does barely any damage actually, but its unique as it procs cold on every hit, slowing enemies. It's best to not even add any mods at all except fire rate if you want, and keep damage low.
I am a legend 1 player who has been playing for 10+ years and I am loving your vids. It is amazing to see how much better the new player experience is. It was SHOCKINGLY bad. ZERO explanation for anything. Just plopped you into missions with no story or anything. Also, there weren't pets or sentinels. Melee was repetitive and a bit of a mess. Movement was not great. The fastest method of travel was called "Zorencopter". The game at the start played more like cod, except without mods, you only had 100 health and 100 shields. There was also NO shield gating. If an enemy did 120 damage when you were that new, you would lose all 100 shields AND 20 health. You could VERY EASILY get oneshot attempting content even a bit higher level than you. A month or so ago, the warframe devs nerfed enemy armor. Armor used to scale with enemy level and gave high level enemies effectively ten or even 100 million effective HP. You would shoot these enemies, and even with a strong build, you would do a few hundred damage. The only way to beat it in the old days was to have everyone run corrosive projection as an aura mod, which reduced enemy armor by 18% per teammate running it. That reduced armor by 72%, which seems like a ton, but when enemies have 100,000 armor, that is still leaving you with 28,000 armor - a 99.99% damage reduction to deal with when you get to really high levels. Look up old warframe vids. They are pretty wild. There were also no relics for getting prime parts, only keys. The positive is that you only needed one person on the team to run a key, and everyone could get parts as long as you stayed in the mission. The negative was that you had ZERO control of what prime parts you got. Collecting full sets was VERY time consuming. DE, bring back zorencopter PLZ. Make dual zorren prime give you a launch. I miss it alot.
I love Warframe and your videos are super great quality! Enjoying watching them! But, when you say, "The new player experience wasn't bad." → I mean you literally had a live stream of veteran players answering all your questions in real time and telling you where to go and what to do, reminding you to upgrade mods, explaining the damage system and so on... A normal player would have no clue about any of these things unless they read the wiki extensively! Just for some perspective man. Looking forward to more content!
I'm ~18 hours in, just finished the Heart of Deimos quest. I think it was done a little too soon as every enemy was tanky as hell, definitely a difficulty spike over everything else so far. I'm addicted now so now to figure out where to get all the parts for these frames I've acquired...
Hey Mac. Im giving this video a like, because you play a game thats fun for you and thats wonderful. But I'm mainly here for d2 and wont watch the video. (I tried warframe, its not for me, really) I'd like to see some Quest, Builds or challenges in d2, but only if you have fun with this. A moist handshake, mlbrn
Corrosive is the way on Deimos. They’re immune to viral. And just for future, slash is always best in slot, viral enhances slash procs based on the number of procs. Heat staggers and temporarily reduces armor. So, small amount of viral, slash, heat is a good to for almost everything IF you’re looking to bleed things. Corrosive is usually best for raw damage, depending what you’re fighting.
BTW the stug is regarded as THE worst weapon in the game. TERRIBLE damage. Slow shell travel time. A streamer recently tried to complete the entire star chart with it and had a VERY hard time, despite having very good gun mods and a powerful frame setup. You need to rank it up 1 time to get mastery points. I recommend just doing a few verry low level exterminates after you get to rank 7ish. You will have better mod loadouts and will actually be able to damage stuff with it.
Did you already see the giant mecaha-zombie-kaiju-ghost-walkers? Or did you just some how miss when they were on screen? You can actually fight them now, though you're not built to.
There is a point to creating a Frame you already have and its for the Helminth Segment you unlock on Deimos. Once you unlock that segment and install it you'll be able to Subsume frames. This allows you to take 1 of their ability (whichever set ability DE has decided for that frame) and replace any one of your abilities on a specific config with it. Subsuming a frame will consume it so thats why its good to use a duplicate. Or once you get a prime, you can subsume the non-primed variant.
Am I the only one who thinks Deimos is literally hell? Not because it’s basically based as an infested planet but because literally everything wants to violate me. They never miss.
You playing warframe made me realize I didn't give warframe enough of a chance. After researching, I've learned that the game opens up at around 150 hours. Before that is pretty much tutorial mode. GG
Dude, you need to get a stance and some mods on that Nikana, it should be doing way more. (The faction specific damage mods are awesome when your late in the game and eeking that last few percent out, but your better off learning what elemental damage works on multiple factions well enough and putting endo into those mods. Once theyre all ranked to do +60% - 90% you can mix and match for any situation)
I really wanted to know what [DE]Malik gifted you at 2:24 lol. It's kind of crazy to see that even DE workers watch your stream or are even aware of you in general. Sponsor incoming!
The mechanical spiders drop a bunch of resources from the map, so you do not have to manually farm (plants/minerals). They are important down the line, they are NOT a must do but can be usefull. The resourcese are also used for rep with the village, IMO it is not that important to rise the rep but it is something to do. IDK if you were taught, but the amount of rep you can get with a sindicate is tied to your mastery rank. The higher mastery rank, the more rep you can farm each day (use it because rep is not cumulative, it gets to a cap).
I love watching this guy's play xD reminds me of the good Ole days Also, there is totally a use to killing those thumpers. They drop insane amounts of various loot drops from the plains, ranging from plants to fish parts. Maybe not at the moment, but eventually in the game it becomes more effective to farm those pieces from a thumper than to waste an hour fishing rare fish.
bro... get the wisp warframe, she goes invisable when jumping can teleport buff herself and team with three different buffs and has a giant super beam attack for her fourth ability. best frame! easy. also this man should start gis clan dojo soon, reason to build his own railjack ship he and some followers can pilot missions togather. its awesome
He doesn't really use any abilities as an Excal main I barely use abilities in general but little does he know his 2 his best friend and the 1 is why I don't bullet jump but after I changed it to doom I pr youefer to roll over bullet jumping because it's faster
