Nova rework sounds really solid, i like how shes basically the same just better. Except wormhole, it should have been duration based instead of charge based imo. Also id like to point out that currently caliban leaving an armor strip zone can be more useful than having to constantly recast his 4 with the reworked version in order to keep stripping enemy armor, just saying. You may want to replace his 4 with terrify if it no longer leaves an armor strip zone as it wont really be used for damage i imagine. Imagine if you had to constantly recast gaze on xaku whenever new enemies spawned.
Yeah, not leaving the defense strip zone kinda feels bad. They should add it back and also make the zone actually visible. Also, idk how i feel about novas 4 being changed.
@@DyingDarkStar Novas 4 being changed is only positive, except for the augment as the wording implies that you no longer gain null star particles on enemy kills but instead seeking null stars apply molecular prime to them. Hopefully this is just a bonus effect and not a change, otherwise nova no longer needs any augment mods.
@@stefanlewis7773 the crit damage mods are sidegrades to each other. One gives Crit Damage, one gives slightly lower Crit Damage in exchange for Heavy Attack wind-up speed and one gives way less Crit Damage but also gives combo-scaling Crit Chance. True Steel is only ever used early game until you have the Sacrificial version - which is mostly only used on Corrupt Charge Heavy Attack spam builds - and Blood Rush is only ever used on Combo builds and Tennokai. All Crit Chance related mods for melee really wants you to heavily invest into one playstyle (whether through Umbra Forma or Exilus slots for Tennokai) and there has never really been a Crit Chance mod that plays equally to both styles of melee.
Osht new galv melee mods, nova 4th applying to overguard and shields too, hildryn tiny rework, new incarnons, new invasion game mode on cetus, companion reworks (companions now have separated weapons with new mods, reworked augments and the smeeta resource buff is now a universal pet mod which has a change to passive double the resources u pick up), caliban rework (I read that the summulyst can keep spawning, as long ad it stays alive, the high aggro sentients we're used to) which regenerate shield SHEEEEESH. Koumei: She looks like a frame that I personally am not going to play too much. I really dig the design, but her setup for her 2 seems exhausting and I'm kind of anti-gambling. I see myself making a setup for endurance runs where I delete her 1 and in every other case I'm gonna helminth out the 2. Caliban: Pretty much all the right changes, though it looked like his one still does terrible damage and his passive hasn't been touched. Still, I'm gonna play Caliban more. Nova: I didn't expect this one, but it certainly is a pleasant surprise. Everything about it looks dope! Hildryn: Yeah, this is not enough. Aegis Storm still leaves you pretty vulnerable, especially if Eximus are around and for some reason pillage is just better on every frame that is not Hildryn. Companion: This...this is not gonna end well xD Like, I'm the last person to complain about powercreep in WF, but especially the companion weapon rework is likely gonna end in total mayhem. Also, I need to save up Forma, Plague Star when?
Let's not get it twisted, the wukong changes aren't nerfs, they are bug fixes. Overguard is specifically made to counter status and animation times are key in all real time games. Having one character able to bypass the intended game mechanics is called a bug.
Saying that something is a bug is what DE says 90% of the time because "it doesn't fit their view of the nerfed thing in the game". In reality they are just picking something popular and powerful that their players like and removing it from the game. For us it is essentially a nerf targeted at us.
@@Macronicol if a mechanic isn't working in congruence with the intended design, it is by definition a bug. It's not working right, so they fix it. If you are taking a bug fix as a targeted attack against you, you really need to reevaluate more than just their motives.
I mean let's be honest. Japanese themed frame can mean many things and "dice" or "gambling" fits the "gachapon" culture or simply gacha. No sarcasm meant here actually gj DE. Edit: Wow that "smeeta nerf" is actually rlly good! No joke i'm glad people can finally use smeeta on a mod and use whatever! Also companion weapons on kubrows and kavats is just some more awesome QOL update. DE rlyl cooked up somethign good with this one.
Im glad smeeta isnt going to be the best loot companion anymore. I hate that god gamn cat. Never gives the loot buff for me. Just nerfs my crit chance lol
As an ultra vet... im in the very very small niche of players negatively affected by the smeeta changes.... cause the only resource im still farming is steel essence... so the inability to get quad drops and 8x drops is going to suck... but hopefully it wont be too much worse... the time gating on steelessence farm sucks... being forced to farm 3 plus hours on a farm thats incompatible with other endgame weekly farms to get kuva sucks...
I’m kind of excited for the that Kubrow that had this very niche ability which doubles the loot from an enemy every several seconds. As of now it’s a garbage ability but I wonder if it will be buffed in the upcoming companion rework. Would be pretty cool if you can use it along with Charm.
Smeeta nerf is awesome, having loot on all pets instead is a much better long term solution. And now we can finally use whatever pet is the best for our build instead of just blindly picking more loot.
It seems that in DE they are fans of Jujutsu Kaisen, now I can play Nova as if I were Gojo with his domain expansion and purple void. And the new WF seems like I was Hakari
ngl smeeta didn't get nerfed but ultimately nova rework is solid. calibans rework is tuff asl.komei looks dope however i don't think every new frame needs to be accessible off the bat. but that's an opinion
11:23 idk how i feel about her 4th like you could mod her 4th to have it at 70% power strength for 0% slow, and to me, that made modding for her pretty unique.
Oooooo my favorite gun is getting the incaron, null star nova augmentation is going too go hard you might have too update nova build. Element builds on pets sounds awesome!
i saw while reading the workshop that theres gonna be 3 mods that effect loot, the one shown in the video that has a 13% chance for both creds and resources, then the other two that have a 18% chance to activate on creds or resources respectively
Its not even a nerf to smeeta. They are taking something out of the pool, allowing crit to happen more often. This is a massive buff for REAL utility. You can even still keep the x2 on smeeta. It's literally only a buff lol
I don't think you understand that the crit buff of smeeta isn't really that good considering it caps your crit chance at 200%, not a final 200% buff, so if you are using a weapon with over 200% crit chance the charm buff is literally nerfing you, and also the majority of people using smeeta are only using it for general farming sessions or well optimized meta farming strats, and sadly they are the ones getting really hit hard with this huge nerf, especially the meta arbitration farm I really hope it's still worth doing, if not then vitus essence farm is really getting more annoying.
@@walidislemramdane2198 what you are describing is going to apply to a small percentage of players. Regardless of whatever you think, many people do benefit greatly off the smeeta crit buff, many weapons never reach that 200% threshold, and now you can put the farming mod on any beast that might be more useful to you. You will be ok
You can’t complain about it, have you ever played slam wukong? That might be like one of the top3 most braindamaged builds ever in this game. Also you might still be able to just roll before the animation ends and go for cloudwalker to save time
can somene tell me why people hate slam wukong that they want it nerf?. the only annoying thing I encounter is that they sometime fling the Thrax mob, quite nice if u have them in disruption mission since they are making it somewhat faster
DE doesn't want people to have fun or optimize runs. That, and it's basically a braindead strats that pretty much invalidates enemy AI. You're essentially permastealthed, ignores terrain movements, can't get attacked, and can oneshot pretty much every enemy in large radius. What's not to love?
Even as a person that thinks that pve games should go easy on nerfs, i agree that slamkong is crossing the line. Sure when im in a mood for braindead farming i can just afk when i see a slamkong, but when i don't want to do that, it's annoying, i can't "play" because the objectives are already dead when im only halfway there. also i doubt that the nerf will change any complains that i just said.
It's hated because Wukong's Cloudwalker can animation cancel slam attacks making it way spammable compared to other frames. it's been exploited a lot with the recent updates. if you need to blame anyone, blame the people that exploited it.
Someone I know just told me Wukong was getting nerfed again. Thankfully it won't affect my playstyle at all, as I don't carry melee weapons outside of the Bonk Stick. The rare W for me. That being said, leave Wukong alone. Stop touching my monkey.
It isn't really that bad. Wukong is a really strong frame still, it just makes it so people can play on squads without the wukong player annihilation everything before they can touch a button. It was overused to hell and back in china
@rainsnowflake4664 His 3rd nerf. But on to the response, it is still a completely viable playstyle that is really strong. The issue comes when your gameplay ruins the game for others by doing the entire mission before they can do anything. So by making the process a bit slower it evens it out. It is still able to one shot extremely high levels, you just can't clear a map in a minute with it.
@rainsnowflake4664 Yet do you see 90 percent of a region using just one of those frames? No. Because each one has build ups. Volts 4 doesn't scale to very high levels, and when you minimax for it to do so it still has the draw of being uncastable again until the procs wear off. Titania needs to spam thermal sunder to build up heat procs, and even then normally use a primer in higher levels, and gauss needs to use a primer to get his thermal sunder nuke online. All have a couple of steps or pauses that let others actually play the game. All wukong had to do was spam slam and cloud over and over, and there is no downtime which doesn't let others get any enjoyment from the game. Even if I was a new player that still wouldn't matter. If anything it would make more sense to remove it because it is actively harming the onboarding of new players.
