Warframe Player Tries EVEN MORE Destiny 2 

As a 10 year vet of destiny and someone who doesn't know who you are specifically but was recommended this series of vids in my feed, I am annoyed by your chat. They are not helpful and overly negative. Despite the downfalls of bungie as a developer, Destiny has been an incredible franchise. I hope you continue destiny and get to feel what it has to offer without negative influences. All kindergardians start in the same place.

If you paid attention to half the prompts and messages popping up on the screen you would know whats going on a lot more. Instead you talk over most of it

chat needs to shut up 😭😭 dont listen to chat you got the right mindset of trying it yourself before letting others dictate your opinion Fyi, the explosions that happen after you kill someone with your sunshot is because of sunshot itself and not because of a fragment you have in your subclass. Sunshot is arguably one of the the best fodder clearing guns and you got it so early because it used to be one of the weapons you got in your first few hours of playing the game however it was mid. With recent buffs its now at the pinnacle of ad clearing

destiny 2 has one of the worst new player onboarding experiences of any MMORPG out there... but i'm glad you're enjoying the gunplay because that shit is fun as hell!

The Sunshot hand cannon is what’s making everything explode. It can chain explosions to other enemies. It’s a very good ad clear weapon.

this is cool and all but i really wish he was actually paying attention to the game instead of reading chat the entire time. for example, he's not looking at weapon descriptions, not reading his abilities, not listening to the storyline, not seeing the objectives on his screen. He's not even learning the game at all its just the stupid chat

Bro's whole chat just all about the bad 😂 also to explain a little bit about the traveler (big white ball in the sky) made ghosts, the ghost revived dead people,you get the powers from the ghost channeling the travelers lightinto you, your ghost dies your mortal (no more powers, jumps,grenades etc) if u die agian you die your Final Death, there is no recorded guardian coming back after that hence Final.

This is probably how most people play games these days. They talk over all the important info and say the UI sucks cuz they don't instinctively pick up on the story and gameplay. "I can't ignore this game and still know what to do so it's bad."

Guardians can be strong and durable, just as they are glass canons and weak. It all depends on who they are, such as the player character being known for being strong. Ikora is also one of the remarked guardians, and Osiris with the light was known as one of the pinnacles. The one limit behind Paracausality, Light and Dark, is practice, understanding, execution, and drawing out potential. Give someone years and they can practically be untouchable if they dedicate themselves to it. Some learn faster than others, including the player character, as stated by Ikora herself. And regarding Cayde and the whole death scene: this is a follow up to Destiny 1 Vanilla, House of Wolves, The Dark Below and The Taken King. This was also the expansion that saved Destiny 2, as The Taken King did Destiny 1. Also the "How's your sister?" Line is pretty well known across the community. And yes, he meant that as a literal insult to him regarding his sister, Mara, who you've maybe met already?

21:41 as a general rule guardians are more powerful than rank-and-file enemies. But not all guardians are built the same, some of the more powerful ones (like the warlock osiris or the titan saint-14) have god-like powers and unique abilities while others not so much. The warlock vanguard Ikora is stronger than Cayde was for example.

Quick tips: Press shift to toggle Sprint On or Off. Pick up the shiny stuff on the ground its loot(AKA New guns/armour/materials)

Actually, the voice of Cayde-6 during Forsaken (DLC this is from) was done by Nolan North, the voice of your Ghost. It was really hard to tell the difference at first, but now and then you could hear the the difference. During Forsaken, Nathan Fillion was busy filming the first season of The Rookie.

Nathan Fillon is the voice of Cayde-6. Great actor and hilarious. Cayde's death was a "man cry event".

Please pay more attention to the ingame dialog (the one that's not in cut scenes). You missed quite a bit in this video, and you will miss A LOT going forward if you do that ;)

that handcannon "sunshot" is still one of the best weapons to clear ads

If your ghost dies, your no longer immortal. The ghost gives you a connection to the light, which grants you the powers. (Just to clarify, guardians are immortal, not invincible)

your chat is the worst help i think i mightve ever seen. rather then slowly onboarding you they make every attempt to sidetrack you and give you wrong answers to many of your questions. if you have a question ask google because you will get the most definitive answer

For a new player you picked that up quite well. And yes, Warlocks are a very flashy with space magic and all of it. But if you come from Warframe their jumping ability will confuse the heck out of you so good you chose to play hunter. But hey, you can create 3 characters in Destiny2, so if you want to play another class later you just make a new character and make it a Warlock, or Titan. All weapons will be shared between characters anyways via the vault system.

After this point you really need a veteran guide to really give you the best experience. There's a ton of end game and build crafting.

The chaining splosions was from sunshots (the handcannon in the start ) exotic perk. Basically, a kill causes and explosion, and if it gets a kill, it chains into another one.

So, we guardians are basically normal human beings with insane power. Super Strengh, abilities that ignore or straight up change the laws of physics, yet with the durability of a normal human. Just immortal

The guns causing most of those explosions not the hunter class itself.

titans are crayon eating punch buddies(more armor)...hunters are smart mouthed sneaky bastards(more agility)...warlocks are hoity toity snooty guys(heal and DPS). Cayde 6 was the most popular character which is why they killed him off (stronger reaction from the players) everybody has space magic the main difference between the characters is your super and your jump otherwise...weapons are more classified by their ammo type, special (green brick) and heavy (purple brick) both have limited ammo which enemies drop on death and you have to pick up kinetic is endless ammo...some exotic guns break this mold by having different ammo than that weapon type normally has.

Quick tip is that all weapons rarity is colour coded and the gold is your exotics, exotic wepapons do somthing unique such as the hand cannon you have which makes rhings explode when they die

As a Destiny player who loves this game since release back in 2014, I enjoy these videos a lot.

You can be knocked out of your super with suppression stronger enemies can also block or drain your light

The Timeline missions (like this one) are more so bite sized recaps for what happened during an expansion so you don't have to play the full campaigns. But as always, playing a full campaign and its side quests gives a lot more context to a story. The campaigns for Shadowkeep (The Moon) and Beyond Light (Europa) are currently free to all players. You might've caught on by now in real time but The Director is basically the Star Chart from Warframe. Keeping tabs on the quest page and following one quest like you would in Warframe or any game is a straightforward way of playing. You technically would've wanted to just finish the "tutorial" quest but it really isn't that crucial to know what happens there, it mostly just repurposes the destination from Destiny 1 and sets up how a game like this works for new players. The majority of veteran Destiny players probably haven't done that quest, like myself, and I have 11,500 hours on the game.

I hope you give eventually give raiding a try. The raids in destiny in my opinion are by far the best thing about this game and you might end up loving the game because of them. I would just try to get some decent gear before hand (not too hard to do, some of the weapons you have are more than good enough already) and you will need to find a group of 6 to do them. Enjoyed the video!

If only this guy can truly experience a full raid, grind, & understanding what each perk does, he will get hooked. Chasing after those legendary & exotic items from raids & dungeons is what makes Destiny 2 exciting to play in my opinion.

No lie kinda angry you weren't paying attention to the dialogue or what's going on around you with the chatacters. To get a real feel for the characters, the world and the overall game, you should be paying attention.

For the record, Cayde-6 usually was voiced by Nathan Fillion. That's his origional voice actor. However, in Forsaken, the DLC this mission came from, he was voiced by Nolan North. Nolan also voices your Ghost (fun fact, Peter Dinklage originally voiced the Ghost very early in Destiny 1). Nathan Fillion did however, come back to play Cayde-6 in The Final Shape. Also, Nathan voiced Buck and a few other characters in Halo.

That final shape plug with the arbalest quest is disgustingly manipulative. You don’t even need final shape to get arbalest

@q_quicc welcome to the Destiny community. We have an unhealthy predilection for seeking out the things that we dislike and then be very verbal about it. Everything is a major drama for us which we are compelled to escalate and throw poop at it. My advice: play the game, choose a supporting, find a clan, and ignore the toxicity and PAY ATTENTION TO THE CUT SCENES AND DIALOGUES. The narrative is exceptional, everything is connected like pieces of a puzzle that gradually fill a vast landscape. Of course, as you record this for others to enjoy, half of your mind is on interacting with your audience - but you are missing out on the threads that link everything together. Also you are not hearing the clues the game gives you on how to accomplish the task at hand. They literally tell you what you need to do. I recommend you focus your attention on the dialogue and do the chatting during your “normal” gameplay.

DE added a weekend vendor, and a STORY to warframe literally a few weeks/months after Destiny 1 launched like a couple of things they've added to warframe was because they saw it in Destiny. The reason they tried raids even though ultimately they couldn't quite figure it out and removed them was because of destiny.

Long time player. Since d1 beta. 10 years+. Being a new player sucks. Tried for years to see the best way to get people started. Id suggest doing 2 activities for good gear right off the bat. Both can be fun. 1 onslaught, its basically horde mode where you get rewards every 10 waves. And dares of eternity. Which works on movement/combat puzzles and rewards classic halo style gear. Edit: holy shit the time jump made me look like a fool. Glad to see you played a good bit

Cayde has yet to be replaced. 5 years later. I wont spoil anything but we do see him later on, but nobody officially replaces cayde. X. Cayde IS the hunter vanguard as far as the real community is concerned. The story does touch on this closer to irl times.

Playing through Destiny 2 and each subsequent DLC as they were released was one of the best narrative experiences I've ever had, but with the content vault removing so many of the old stories and expansions from the game, it's hard to see the new player experience reduced to this. I wish you could have experienced what I did. Still a fantastic game if you can get into it.

Starting D2 as a new player is very heavy on "Tell over show". There is an angodly amount of yapping and exposition about content and events that are no longer in the game. Something i think warframe does a LOT better, because everything is still there.

Calling Cayde a robot is funny as hell to me. Lol. Exo.

stick with it, find a group to play with and get to the end game content as fast as possible. The raids and dungeoens are some of the best experiences in gaming. Sure the game has many genuine criticisms and areas for improvement but is still one of the best at what it does.

Sunshot has nothing to do with being a hunter. That gun just does that, it's really good. The fragments you got are for your gunslinger subclass, I'm sure you'll look into that more as you play

Sunshot is truly incredible. I have one in my vault with the kill tracker on 69,420 and have since grabbed a 2nd one that I'm already at 7k kills with.

The C-Suite of bungie is the problem, every community manager or dev the community has ever interacted with has been great. Issues with the game stem from corporate greed and I hope that Sony acquiring Bungie leads to better management. It's been an issue throughout Destiny's entire lifespan, even before D1 release.

the best way to enjoy destiny is just to not think abt "oh this is bad and that is good blah blah blah" just play the game i have like 2500 hours in this game and i stil love it

No matter how bad of a state Destiny is in I always stick with it, it was one of the games I started playing during lockdown and haven’t really stopped since. If you want any pointers and such or want to try and run something feel free to ask… maybe I can get to understand Warframe a bit more too haha.

Destiny 2 is a fantastic game that, once you get the hang of, will bring thousands of hours of fun. The issues people have outside of the shit Bungie monetization stuff is that they also like to make some things unnecessarily grindy just for thr sake of being grindy. Just this season they finally removed all of the time gating from episode one (something people asked for!) and now everyone is upset that the meat and potatoes of the episode are done as fast as you like. D2 players are just unhappy people and no matter what anyone does, they are going to complain. Main thing is to just enjoy what you enjoy and play the parts you feel like playing. There can be FOMO in the game but for some of us.. It isn't that serious. I'd recommend to continue playing until you can at least do a dungeon or two and a couple of raids. That's where the best stuff D2 has to offer is at.

People who talk shit about this game are 100% cry babies. So just play for yourself and enjoy it. Don't listen to anyone who says no because they just want to say anything negative about the game. If you ask for opinions about the game, most of the people will just start bashing on the game just because of the company they are apart of.

You really sat and read chat throughout the most iconic cutscenes in the history of destiny. I was thinking about subbing when I saw your first video from this series but man this sucks to watch.

You got some weirdos in your chat that have a hate boner for destiny. The game has its flaws as does bungie, but for a new player you have so much to do that its actually going to be overwhelming at first. Start small and just follow the journey mission thing so you can get armor mods and then just do whatever you want. Most people who complain or dislike the game are burnt out. Endgame is pretty damn hard even with optimized builds due to how hard enemies hit at times. Contest mode raids/dungeons and Grandmaster Nightfalls are as hard as it gets. If you enjoy warframe im sure you will enjoy destiny!
