A lil tip for anyone that is gonna try the build for the Tombfinger is that you only need 5 forma instead of 7 as shown in the video (4 if you don't have primed firestorm) so it's less grindy. I'm running it with 5 madurais and it works like a charm! Really great build, having a lot of fun with it!
hey glad you liked it :D ive got a bunch of other ideas i wanna test a bit deeper then eventually maybe just compile them all into one big "steel path survival cheese strats" type video not sure tho
You can budget cut with zenurik’s hardened wellspring, also archon shards are your friend since it can help with everything from duration to power strength, to energy return. Of course if you increase power strength with shards then you can remove auger secrets from the build and replace with either efficiency or other mods of choice.
Honestly was a bit skeptical about the build, but after replicating it (with some budget cuts since I don’t have Madurai leveled up) it works amazingly
Other tips for extended survival mission: whenever the tileset chooses, 1. Better to check sp relics for earning more se. (logi tech macro is super helpful for automatically cracking relics)2. checking the tileset(prefer a long hallway without any obstructions, or else the enemies spawning would affect the oxygen replenishment rate)
I’m currently working towards this and wanted to let people know that Duviri runs give 50k - 100k focus exp for your equipped school per run. I have maxed the 40% buff in 2 days
Damn this entire channel is a gem. I've got the kitgun(decided to go tombfinger/palmaris/splat) and I'll start leveling Ivara soon so my only concern now is what I want my acolyte killer to be. Which'll be either my Laetum or Kronsh Contagion Zaw.
Your the real gem for vistiting my channel But either works, you might have some issues throwing a zaw while sitting on the dashwire though but incarnon laetum on the wire will shred acolytes
There is an exploit where you 1 Cast dash wire 2 kill something to proc molt augmented 3 cast another dash wire WHILST STANDING ON THE DASHWIRE STILL (The dashwire buff will stay and stack until you can’t build anymore strength, a host migration occurs or until you die and revive) 4 jump on new wire, repeat until 250 stacks of augmented 5 enjoy your stacks of 400%+ bonus crit damage Note: even at 300% power strength, done right, you can hit for up to 29mil on a heavy attack on a demolyst, nullifiers don’t take the buff off if I remember, 99% sure
I find that my cat constantly dies even whilst im invisible and standing away from the mobs. Outside of that, this is a very nice strat and a well put togheter vid.
a bit late to this but imma give my ideas on the build and yeh: Aura - varies passive already senses enemies so its unnecessary to place enemy radar in, instead, I would go with corrosive projection just so its easier to kill maybe sprint boost just so u can run along the wire quickly and move to extraction much faster, steel charge for that extra melee damage and capacity at the cost of having to use ur melee (glaive prime preferably) and using a formal, or unusually dreamers bond/ energy siphon which a unnecessary but are all. Exilus - I don't know why having prime sure-footed would be an issue if your invis and enemies don't know where you are, so I've changed this to power drift for more strength. You could also consider using rush for extra movement speed or speed drift but its not really necessary again. I mean a good idea would be not having exilus just so you can max ur mods and also, there is no need for more forma Mods - over all these are really good , great build. Arcanes - yet again great arcanes probably the best, arcane energize is unfortunately incredibly expensive so I've gone with molt efficiency Archon Shards - I mean extra strength would be nice but its unessairy at this point. Over all this is an amazing build great when you watching breaking bad or the boys :D
to comment on a couple things here: enemy sense is mostly for quality of life, especially on void its nice to know if the spawn areas that should be open are open or not. if they are not open u can just quickly reset as ur losing kills per minute, although yes u are right basically anything works here ngl some might wanna run rifle amp for the damage its whatever. Prime sure footed is mostly for the arson eximus, those dudes randomly use their attack a lot of the time and it can knock u off the wire, at high levels 1 fire tick = death a lot of the time so its nice to be able to react quickly. Archon shards arent needed yea its just for show tbh. And i already have watched breaking bad and its a great show! thanks for the kind words tho much appreciated
better than having to recast dome regularly and spam 1 praying the line of sight works  since incarnon magistar i have become more of a khora enjoyer though
For anyone who doesn't like glaives you can just run the kitgun and it'll work just fine, it'll be a bit slower but the rate you kill the acolyte is negligible. ive been doing it without the glaive and its working great
I wish we had a gunblade that spams shattering impact in an AoE, seems like it could be a comfy alternate inclusion here and generally sounds like a great tool for some setups.
I've been doing this same concept since voruna came out but I pretty much use the glaive only. I also use a higher power eff. bc I don't have arcane energize
Late to the party but you might consider infusing Chromas Elemental Ward (Toxin for reloadspeed) on Wisp. With that much attackspeed reloadspeed should give a decent boost even on charge weapons where it only shortens delay and not recharge rate.
Another thing you could drag along, a strength cranked pacify and provide day equinox with either eclipse or roar on its 1 or 2. Only hang up is you'd have to stealth bubble it once to get into maim range safely and charge up it's 3. And again after it's molted
Well, this is A easy way, even if you need a lot of things to make it work, and you have to be shooting all the time. I propose THE EASIEST way to farm steel essence, using Octavia, with duration and range and Shade as companion, with Ghost mode active and maxxed. Ghost makes you invisible if enemies are in 24 meter proximity. I can tell you Octavia doesnt have to shoot once. Ghost will keep you invisible as long as you dont use weapons or helminth abilities. Native abilities are not weapons so you can use your 1 and 4 without breaking invisibility. When acollites come, drop a 1, just to be sure, be invisible and let it kill itself. Just keep your 1 between you and him. Usualy it takes like 1 to 2 seconds for the acollyte to kill itself. Sometimes, you have to jump around a few times. Find a nice bottleneck, like a corridor, and a place to sit outside the crossfire, and just watch hell break loose. Stay invisible at all times. Collect. Thats it. I do this in 30 minutes to an hour before just getting bored.
You can use the miter, it has a special mod purchasable from a syndacite called "Neutralizing Justice" If you put silent mod on, and use the syndacite mod with multishot itll pop nullifiers instantly and i believe they cant regen after breaking when you use it
Question, is there a reason for no Vital sense here? Also, what about a Corpus Faction mod? Especially for the Glaive Prime, since both slash and toxin double dip the faction mod buff
I was NOT aware Ivara aug's crit dmg boost is that chunky... The parkour is the main reason I play this game so I've still not farmed myself an Ivara, but with the companion rework coming up + that old sentinel quiver technique, I might have to give it a go. Still quite some of her power is in being stationary on that wire, but with 2 long wires placed well, it can cover quite some area to quickly hop on and off in survivals etc., + I get to camp very well whenever I do feel like it/it's important for a precise farm. I love Wisp/Ash/Octavia, I bet I could love Ivara if I gave it a proper chance, she's a stealthy badass for one. Might also consider parkour and dodge speed to more smoothly mix in some of her perma-invis, probably 2ndary amalgam mod and shards? Wonder if I'll want cast speed.
honestly if u plan to camp the slow parkour speeds dont even matter that way u benefit from her insane buffs but arent effected by the negatives, you should for sure try her out tho :P
All the other steel path farms I've seen recommend Octavia, which I honestly hate because it's so boring while still having to remain active as I don't have enough resources invested to get above 40s ability duration, and the invisibility only lasting 30s just makes it a pain in the ass. And as someone who's been interested in Ivara since I first heard of her, and immediately found new enjoyment in the game from playing her, this video feels like a godsend.
As an ivara main I really try to use her everywhere, but replacing khora is really hard because with only a melee weapon equipped smeeta will never proc the ammo buff for guns, meaning a higher chance to roll loot buffs. Glaive is really good with navigator, but for giga loot farming i have a 300% high range ivara for just stealing loot from every enemy before they get grabbed by the dome, and on that build empowered quiver also slots pretty nicely for having the cleanse on cloak arrow for any tox procs. But i mean it only counts for extra loot / higher chance for smeeta loot cos steel essence is pretty much solved.
Ivara is slept on fr super good frame but ppl see the slow movement and just put her in the trash, if u set up a wire and have khora sit on it her whipclaw does insane dps
@@trix_vs1295 yeah I have 5 parkour shards on my ivara i do spies faster than public wukongs lol. I can see why her kit seems underwhelming when people first pick her up, but learning and building around her kit and augments shes got so much variety for every possible ability. The only things I still want are a fix for the cloak toggle auto-cancelling when you double jump at the wrong time, and changing her sound arrow to be like a zenith alt fire with the enemy radar, or more like prob cernos.
For me the only prob is when doing it alsmost exact with some cuts the acolyte just tps me off the wire and nukes me losing that se thats the only prob the build works just the acolytes tp me to them
I think defense is supposed to be meta in arbitrations, but this looks like it'd also be very functional and convenient there, probably mod for firarate if there's no Wisp to dmg drone hp sooner, or go with the Ogris if ammo is taken care of. Too bad the spawns kinda suck in those, especially solo.
yeah i do have a video on arbi farming also :O (a speedrunning arbis guide ofc) so if you wanna check any of the meta thats a great guide, but this would work for casual survival running yeah not sure if survival is even worth it tho sadly
I have a question, whenever i shoot from my primary while in prowl my invisibility goes away for a split second, is that a problem? Is there a solution to that bc i dont see that happening anywhere in the video. PS: figured out it was bc my primary didnt have hush equiped on it*
Nah without initial combo riven is still works the same, initial combo just gives more damage ofc so its desirable. Ivaras wire is so powerful you will 1 shot when paired with navigator anyway
You need to move forwards in some tile sets to the acolyte spawns below you or closer to you, once you get used to the spawns u can pre-throw the glaive with navigator and explode it as soon as they spawn so they die instantly
@@trix_vs1295 That's exactly what I'm doing, and I'm using the Glaive build in the video, yet at most it is doing taking them down by like 1/4 of their health. Am I missing something?
often the slash procs is what kills the heavily armour units rather than the raw damage, if you use ivaras 2 the damage should just kill them after 1 tick of slash tbh@@iwrazdawdawd1079
ive done multiple hour long runs with this, if you run on void the toxin deals with the normal enemies allowing it to scale well and the hunter munitions deals with the tougher stuff. You might run into issues if the eximus units start firing a lot but you should be fine :D
see its unusual because i never have issues with my kavat dying unless the eximus units use their abilities but they shouldnt do if your invsible, so not sure tbh.
I like the way you explain why you take certain mods wat it is good against in a short and simple way, I follow aznvasions and i love the guy but sheesh somethimes he can make his videos overly complicated love em though
What do you suggest for melee weapons if you don't have glaive prime? Also Ivara bow mod makes bow explode and works well with the explosion arrow mod.
Any idea for other aoe killer than kitgun? Maybe bubonico or something? Have all the incarnon weapons but don’t feel like grinding kitgun rn if its not necessary.. thanks!
Kuva Tonkor or Tenet Envoy or Glaive Prime or Falcor or even Opticor Vandal works too. Cerata is strong against corpus due to it having forced toxin procs on explosions and deleting acolytes with a corrosive build but its AoE is smaller than Falcor and Glaive prime so i wont recommend it if you're facing something not corpus. Opticor vandal might need an ensare build though so you'll have to sacrifice some str and duration for range and build gas on the opticor. A personal favorite of mine on Ivara but was already nerfed is Zymos. Maybe some new incarnons will bring AoE too so watch out for those. Maybe Kuva Chakkhur can work too with an ensnare Ivara. I was able to lvl cap with it using a gas and zephyr combo. Haven't tried on my ensnare ivara yet.
usually moving forward as the acolyte is speaking to you will cause them to spawn below you, then they will not teleport you as they can target you. Often if you stay at the back of the wire the game cant choose where to spawn the acolyte and they end up far away (especially obvious on elara) thats what causes the teleport. If you move forwards you often end up with a consistant spawn point which you can just nuke with a glaive instantly
Well eclipse itself is much stronger however you cant cast it while on the wire which means u need to drop down cast go back up every time it runs out which i found to be a bit cringe
@@trix_vs1295 the problem can be fixed by jumping for 1sec fast right click on the mouse eclipse and X to connect to the dashwire and you don't need to care about light because ivara 3 ability is keeping the sun buff even when you are in dark i know that this answer is after 10 months but this can be helpful to somebody else i think eclipse is way better than empower
Trix hey, I've build the gun and followed up your guide. But I'm having some problem with the damage. Using corpus enemies I'm not able to kill anyone past 150+ without shooting at least 3-4 times. Glaive literally oneshots them. Did the Kitgun get nerfed? I couldn't find it. Thanks for the vid!
it hasnt been nerfed, once the enemies get armoured the status procs are the things to kill the enemies so the slash or toxin procs will destroy them just make sure that you recast the wire when u hit 250 molt stacks or get a fissure boost :D
Hey, i know this is very delayed but I'm very interested in this build. Is the Kuva Ogris a good substitute for the tombfinger? I am not high enough level woth fortuna to get the parts and i figure a rocket launcher is a rocket launcher. Thank you!
the main reason we use tombfinger is for the pax charge arcane to allow for infinite ammo - ogris will run into huge ammo issues very quickly, a good substitute would be the "Shedu" though as its AoE and infinite ammo
Ive never seen secondary stats but they have different dispos so possiblu thats why also dual stats get higher stats than tri stats and negative makes the positives higher
i hold aim glide against the wall then hold the dash wire key at the same time, not sure never encountered this problem i saw someone on console have the same issue tho
Does sure footed stop you from being pulled off wire by the acolyte? I tried this and got pulled to a different room by it but didn't have sure footed on
it doesnt stop you being pulled but it stops you getting knocked down, to prevent them pulling you you should move to the middle of the wire during the spawning of the acolyte (screen flashes and what not) and they should spawn below you, that way u can just 1 tap them with the glaive instantly
Not much of an ivara player myself, but whenever I play her I tend to use aegrit as my weapon of choise. When farming steel essence I play it safe, just go against grineer and not in fissures so no nullifiers, and baruuk is my frame of choise. Have a build with about 330% power str when the arcane fully stacked, and I run with pillage and corrosive projection (100٪ armor strip on one cast), then button mash with 4 on to melee kill everything. It works, except acolytes can be a bit annoying when they turn off all your buffs. Still I have heavy attack rapier to one shot them before they one shot me.
