Almost a year ago I left a group that was basically a cult. I took a bus three hours out to a town in the middle of nowhere to start over and rebuild. Those first few days, this was playing almost nonstop. It inspired me.

When i first came to fortuna many years ago in a party of 4, and this song started, i had to mute my friends because i KNEW I was about to hear a banger. Legit almost cried. As a vet and long history in hard labor, I can sing this for hours to myself, alone. My most favorite thought in the world is that as im singing this to myself toiling away, theres another tenno out there doing the same...and im not so alone. If any of you feel alone, sing along, odds are im right there with you.

4 years later, and this is probably the most motivating and inspirational video game trailer I've ever seen so far.

My dad likes this song he’s got gray hair and all never played or cared about video games a day in his life. but he heard it playing from my pc while playing warframe and I heard him whistling it that same day while he was outside all day fixing a car and replacing it’s transmission.

I haven't played warframe in years, yet this song always gives me chills. A people stuck in generational debt, coerced into replacing their body with machine to repay what is supposedly owed. Forced to purchase their new body from the same people they're selling their old to, all to further a vicious cycle driving them all further into debt. Unable to even escape into death as their augmented bodies keep them alive in living prisons of their own flesh and steel. Yet despite it all, they sing. They may have lost everything, even their own body and form, but nothing can take take a person's soul.

This intro is still my most vivid warframe memory, after all these years. Whoever wrote and orchestrated this was cooking.

I just got to Fortuna, and when I arrived I wasn’t expecting an ENTIRE INTRO CUTSCENE with a THEME SONG BUT I AM NOT COMPLAINING BECAUSE THIS IS AWESOME

never played the game before, but heared the song and found out about it. This is the most amazing cutscene i have seen in a video game. The song alone is a masterpiece, lyrics are poetic and relatable. The picture of a dystopian capitalism is painted so well, i even love the the small details of different voices of both genders joining the song over time, even the smallest details like the crawl text at the ending showing profits and interest rates going up but wages going down, all of it is so soul touching. This deserves an award for this one cutscene alone.

entering fortuna for the first time was one of my favorite moments in gaming ever

I don't know why, but when the last two lines started being sung, I started crying. The power of this song is insane, the unity of the people working, it's crazy.

This song not only represents the people of Fortuna but also the Warframe community in its entirety, as a much newer player to the game (playing a little a couple years ago and now fully getting into it in the last month) i was amazed by how kind and amazing the community is, especially to new players. If you need help with anything ever you can ask and someone will be there, even when you don't ask they'll offer, public lobbies are full at any level with mastery 14's and 2's alike grinding, there's a million and one guides for every type of player and every little question met with an in-depth answer by someone who knows the game far better than me, I've talked to many people in the game chat through my incessant questions, taxi requests, LFG's, trading, and relic farming and I'm always told "good luck!", "don't get discouraged!", "fight onward!" - "Strong, united, working 'till we fall." Everyone in the community knows the struggle, new and old the grind lives on, and to have this level of true community its something I've never experienced in a game before, we all lift together, as fellow tenno towards our each and every goal, working together as time chugs ever onward. - "And we all lift, and we're all adrift together, together, through the cold mist, 'till we're lifeless together, together."

The saddest part of this song, you never actually see them building anything, they're robots stuck in a cycle of mediocrity, moving capsules back and forty and slamming their hammers down on the ground hitting nothing.

Fun fact this is known as a workers hymn or labor song. Sea shanties are a version of workers hymn, and they’ve been traditionally used by workers who need to act in unison to stay in rhythm (for example in this clip when they’re swinging the hammers on beat) they were very common for slaves who were chained together at the wrists as if one persons timing was off when swinging they’d all fail.

I missed it the first few times I watched it, but people should notice the lights on the mechanical parts of the people. At first it's easy to just pass the music off as something being overlaid on top of what you see to match their work rhythm, but once you notice the lights flashing on all of their components (especially their faces), you realize... that they're actually singing the song.

... Five and a Half years ago now... I remember watching the stream live and I about jumped out of my chair that there was a new 'Corpus' open world. Then I kept repeating this video for weeks. Good times, the game is better now but I wish I could go back all the same, crazy how the three open worlds were made and shipped only a year after the next every time. Massive respect to you DE for making this place, and massive respect to the group who made the music.

I first saw this as an ad years ago, probably when it first came out, and I was so hyped. I was ready to buy everything remotely associated with this game. Cut to now, earlier this month, and I just started playing the game. Had long forgotten about the music video. Bought an instrument in game to play, then saw the song in the list of songs I could play. Played it a couple times before I made the connection, and I am shook. Why did it take me this long to play?! I was literally so hyped all those years ago, yet I did nothing until now?! I've been missing out lol

to this day, 5 years later, the most impactful emotional thing warframe has ever done in terms of a soundtrack. not even the main theme replaying during second dream gives me chills like this. a proper soundtrack to a dystopian nightmare. For narmer though, admittedly, comes closes.

When i first discovered warframe as free to play i’ve loved it ever since. I would play it whenever i got home to the point i would cause wrist and finger pain from using my controller all day. It was truly a masterpiece to the weapons, the fashion frame, the community and the lore. It’s sad to see myself not showing much love or interest to it now.
