This was made with the buffs to Xaku (Edit: This was before round 2 of changes)
A quick video showcasing Xaku and their abilities
Overall Xaku is good but still needs a bit of tweaking to make some abilities good ( Mainly The Lost: Deny and Accuse and Xata's Whisper)

Would rolling guard be a better fit over adaption?

Well I can't really say to much because I do not have rolling guard but from the looks of it I would chose adaptation

So this is as of rework so arcanes not as important?

Arcanes are always a optional thing as they do not make a difference to xakus abilities. Though if you are running a neg efficiency like i am then energize or zenurik might be necessary.

I do agree on that but in my opinion Xaku is in a pretty good spot right now. Although the void status effect really needs a rework to make Xata's Whisper good.
