Seeing all the hating comments below all I can say is that all these gatekeepers are the reason the metal scene will never be back into mainstream. Because all such gatekeepers don't let the metal scene evolve. Like really, when did you hear the last time something really fresh on metal scene? The last fresh sound I can remember of was Architects' 2016 album. Just think of it - the last fresh sounding album was released SIX YEARS AGO! And that's all! Stop gatekeeping, guys! And please - stop referring to cliches as to a tradition. Please, just stop it. Stop playing all these At-The-Gates-inspired and Death-ripoff riffs calling it a "tradition". Stop gatekeeping, let's start doing something fresh. Or at least let's leave a room for someone fresh.
There’s always fresh bands man wtf are you talking about? What ruin the metal scene aside from gatekeepers is dickriders like you, you can like a group and also tell them what they can do to grow and evolve and not let them be in one spot.
Gatekeepers suck, the funny thing is that the band have said themselves that they arent that fresh as they are channelling a 90's/00's sound, you can hear it a lot, its like prodigy/atari teenage riot/die antwoord etc etc, but that said its their own take on it and they're bringing back that scene so, im down with it. Let the haters hate, this band will get big I'm certain.
People ain't gatekeeping shit, metalheads listens to the whole spectrum of music like any passionate listener or musician, Most people think that this band has nothing unique, that they don't sound good, that they are childish, not edgy, not aggressive, not spectacular, not original, that they don't shine neither by the music, nor by the lyrics, that's all, get over it, nobody makes a purist criticism, we just find that they are wack, a bit ridiculous and painful to hear.
What a great song, I love it! I put it into my "Shellshocked Radio - Recommendations" List: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ptgcWuQAHpk.html Very well done!
Not really my thing this type of music but this band blow the roof of and have me listening to more and more of them also exploring the genre more so full credit to them for that. Really enjoyed this video!!

I'm an old fart. I admit it! My first thought when i saw "Fukkstar" video was "so, theyre a metal version of Die Antwood?" Then i decided "Live is how you should really judge any band" so i clicked on this. And god - was i wrong!!!! This is a pretty amazing band! The energy especially reminds me of going to early prodigy gigs. I reckon i can put some of their tracks into my playlists! Add a new acolade Wargasm - "Old Fart approved" !!!!!!!!!!
At least, i am happy to have you in the music scene :) you two rock as hell and the whole band is carring you so well with that dope instrumental skills :D be yourselfe, you make people happy.
They were better than expected. You have to remember a lot of bloodstocks fan base is overweight, unwashed virgins who only listen to death metal and other shite. They'll not open their mind for a second

Can anyone tell me what track wargasm played on kerrang....I thought it was a collab with limp biscuit....but it doesn't seem to be a collab...maybe just wargasm? I don't know the name of the track though, but it was brilliant
So like kinda industrial nu metal? I like it! Girl has the "it" vibe but needs to work on her chops a bit imho. Lucia cifarelli from KMFDM should be the goal.
Awesome! They saved the best song til last! I just saw them at Download and they did Spit as the penultimate song. It was pouring rain but they were great!
A banda é ótima, mas eles precisam aperfeiçoar a performance ao vivo colocando uma banda mais pra frente. Acredito que esteja dessa forma pra cortar custo, mas adicionar um baixo e colocar a guitarra mais pra frente seria uma boa.
A lot of hate for these guys, but I actually saw them live yesterday supporting While She Sleeps and they fucking blew the roof off🔥 I had seen this video prior and jheez they were 300000% better live yesterday, they will do big things 🖤
Saw these guys in a small venue in Connecticut opening for cory taylors cmf2 band. The energy they give off is insane. I fell in love w this chick instantly when she dropped to her knees and pretended to perform fellatio on the other singer. Im not into skinny little blondes i just love her vibe.
Clicked on this thinking "wow - they are still around?!" Then realised this is not the original Wargasm. I wonder why bands do this? It's not difficult to check if a name has been used before.
I've seen them live in smaller club shows and they rocked. This performance is indeed pretty weak. Tbh, I've seen bands who've been performing for 20+ years and sound shit during a festival but amazing in a club or venue show. Some bands just aren't made for big festival stages.
the promoter may have booked them thinking the were getting the WARGASM from the USA who was an 80's thrash band based out of Massachusetts 1985-95 and reunited 2 times 2004 and 2008
@@jimash nope, definitely not, Wargasm are known in the UK scene and had just played Download. They were booked mostly because the Bloodstock team were really struggling to find British bands who were stage-ready, as the pandemic prevented most international travel
@@dashingtherouxthesnow4017 and completely contradicting their own rule of not being allowed to play BOTH festivals in the same year, because Snoregasm have deep pockets #richdad
Seems to be it's a sound engineering issue. They usually have quite a huge playback parts that includes lots of synth bass lines, but in this set it's hard even to hear the guitar. Seems to be FOH engineer screwed up.
@@alexmurphy9919 Or alternatively.... don't rely on backing tracks and actually play live. "It's a FOH issue" FOH issues like that don't happen to bands that actually play their shit live, instead of picking up their instruments for the appearance a few select times in the set. It's pathetic, and the two just look awkward running around and trying to rock out when they're alternating vox. Just hold the instrument and play it, and learn to have stage presence while playing, and people will forgive the energy far more than if you're not carrying a guitar and still aren't able to kick it off.
@@kalreynolds5829 i agree on some aspect but i do think backing tracks are a good thing in some aspects like sub drops and maybe synths and stuff like but i do agree with them looking awkward cause they do need more energy and thats pretty hard when u backing track 90 percent of the band 😂😂
Woah I loooove the hate this band gets, never seen so many elitists with foaming faces, they are doing everything right there. And even though I'm a huge old school metal fan who was even born into the scene, let me tell you this: no one gives a fuck about wargasm thrash band anymore IF ever, deal with it. Stop acting as if they named themselves DIO or Motorhead.

@@dawg4135 apparently it is a thing now that if a previously existing band is no longer active the name is free for the taking. there is now a band calling themselves BAD COMPANY and it is not the band from the 70's :(
@@jimash it’s pretty sad that no one cares. Or that the band does no research into if the name has been used before. And if it has they think slapping the abbreviation for their country on the end somehow makes it ok. Sorry adding UK to the end of it doesn’t make it alright. But hey why come up with your own thing when you can take someone else’s.
Title is technically incorrect yeah. But when you Google Wargasm, you get this band (my search might be affected cause I am from the UK). Not the band that disbanded 25 years ago before these guys were probably even born. Hence, people refer to this band as Wargasm in generally. But on spotify and their record label they are called Wargasm (UK) for legal reasons and all that
Ofc a dude with “blackmetal worship” as his name comments this, slipknot have done more for the genre of metal than your pathetic gatekeeping ever will.
When Bloodstock says people that complain about bands like this playing the festival are in the minority, I think the lack of views on the video and the reception in the comments just proves the complete opposite.
@@meelsky "Industry plant is a pejorative used to describe musicians who ostensibly become popular through their connections to the music industry yet present themselves as independent and self-made" his dads was sex pistol..... How does your band appear out of no where and suddenly have slots on most major UK festivals....? Even subjectively if you listen to this set its fucking terrible.... Maybe infront of the right audience they would go down better
