Warhammer 10th Edition Leviathan: FULL BOX REVIEW 

This is the first of all the 501 videos about the Leviathan that I'm watching!!

You really have the best energy!! The enthusiasm is oozing through my screen

I am super excited about the simplified rules. For me personally it felt like playing 9th ed was a chore.

That Tyranid scheme was amazing! Great work!

You don't need to snip the whole peg off. Just snip most of it off. Then glue as normal and push together. The pegs will act as alignment pins but still be easy to push together.

The huge paint rack should've been a giveaway, but I was still shocked at how awesome you painted your nids!

I love that purple to green gradient! I use it myself on the skin portions of my own nid army but with a bit more yellow-brown on the highlight. Absolutely gorgeously executed, especially the light volumes on the Prime's wings

Seems like a major disadvantage not having the datasheets for the contents in the box. I can see why because they don't want leaks, but that doesn't seem to have worked looking at reddit.

Whenever I have issues with these push-fit kits, what I do is - shove the auld MouldLine Remover in the peg hole, give it a couple of turns which gives enough room for air/glue escape which is what causes gaps to happen.

I’ve found clipping off the pegs and filling the holes with green stuff or something to be decent for spicing posing options with these push fit ones

My friends and I are very excited to start putting together Combat Patrol armies! Excited to try a lot of diff matchups and new factions!

I checked the comments to see if anyone else made mention, but you do know in the Warhammer Community thingy, they do have all the indexes to down load and all you have to do is screen shot the index files for the specific army stat's you want. Personally I build them into my spread sheet so they come up on my forces list. But they are there for free download.

You know, bottles of Nuln Oil and Agrax Earthshade are objectives worth the maximum effort to take right. The only time that would be in doubt is when were are playing for shots.

I must be one of the only people who drills the holes slightly larger on pushfit models, rather than cutting off the "pins." I've got a drill bit that's just the right size to often leave parts that go together and come apart with ease. Some times it ends up being too large, and they won't stay together very well, but I glue them together anyway. I just like keeping enough of the pin to help line up pieces properly. Also, fun fact about 40k starter sets: for the 8 editions that have had starter sets in the past, only 2 of them (3rd ed and 8th ed) did not feature pushfit models... and only 1 of them (3rd) was not monopose. It really shouldn't be a surprise that it's pushfit models once again.

The new tyranids are amazing ❤️ the rules are still too alpha strikey for me, without alternate activations, but combat patrol scale with reactions might fix some of that.

This is the first 10th Edition box video I've seen. Odd and disappointing that it doesn't have the datasheets in the box. Will think twice about getting it now, assuming I can and it doesn't sell out in minutes.

looking at those models, and going back to the Assault on Black Reach (my first starter box) - the models evolved beyond expectations. i hope that this time, the box won't be a feast for scalpers and few people who manage to get very lucky and place order

This was the only unconfirmed hope I had for Leviathan, and you confirmed it, which makes this my favorite Leviathan review video!

The combat patrols are great especially for young players starting out. It gives them a reasonable goal and gets them playing quickly. I can see this box used by gaming clubs in high schools and colleges to get more members. If I were a young kid I’d probably join. And let’s face it the kids will play for a couple of years giving gw money but will get sidetracked by real life so it’s a good idea for the company to make quick money in that short window

Love the almost arbitrary review categories. Not enough attention is paid to book smell.

Only speaking for myself here, but I'm puzzled as to why Warhammer players tolerate GW changing rules as often as they do, often/usually to the detriment of the players? I just find their practices and shameless milking of FOMO questionable most of the time. Great miniatures, mind you, but then the expense factor rears its ugly head and I find myself walking away and saying "Nope, not today..."

to bad only scalpers will have them all within an few sec after the box goes on sale. GW could stop this but they won’t.
