I feel like the Brawler Ogryn has definitely seen some shit. I play one myself, and I've heard banter such as @4:53 or 10:54 where we get a glimpse of what seems to be a shell shocked veteran underneath that tough exterior and silly mannerisms. I've also heard him say things like he can't remember the names or faces of some of his friends anymore, or that some of his scars bring back bad memories or something (I could be off on that last one). I think out of all the Ogryn personalities, he's the one that needs a hug the most (or at least, deserves the most stickers).
Given that he’s a bonehead, he’s pretty much the equivalent of an Ogryn Sergeant or at least the bodyguard of a militarum officer Would make sense he’s seen a lot of stuff. One of those encounters is probably what damaged his implant.
