Everyone knows that the greenskins have always had too much randomness to them to ever be a strong faction, whether it's in Fantasy or 40k. The type of person that goes on to build an Orc/k army has clearly done so knowing that they will never be the strongest or best. They choose that army for 1 reason, fun. To cheat against an Orc/k player is really just the lowest of the low.

I always take 2 dice trays, nothing worse than a player rolling 50 dice behind cover -_-

From what I've seen, a lot of streams like these usually have a shared dice tray with a camera directly over it so there's no hiding your rolls.

use dice trays ffs. I don't take gts serious who don't mandate dice trays😂

Always asked, usually met with, "What? You think I'm gonna cheat or something?" and making shit awkward.

In the case of tournaments it's the money obviously, in the case of friendly games it's a moral problem. Most people have low moral standards, but people that can't respect the rules when there is *no* benefit to not other than the satisfaction of winning need to be removed from social groups.

And all trays need to be in a very visible location.

You should go see Mordian Glory, he has a video about an opponent where he complains about a tournament organizer who played in his own tournament, where he doesn't have his rule books on him and makes up stats, with his opponents having to take his word for it because the judges always sided with him ( he was using Forgeworld units and this was before Waha was widely used, it was around early 8th I think). After the allegations others came forward saying the same thing, the TO basically had a mental breakdown, posted pictures of him destroying some of his trophies with a crossbow and seemed to have an implied threat against Mordian Glory. I think it's the "Tau player threatened me with a crossbow vid". Really long but worth the listen.

This is why I always try to roll in the open but if a die does go behind a building I always slide it out so my opponent can see what it ended up being

I roll on the mat but out in the open, I don't get how people wanna roll behind terrain... and if the player can't see I let them move to see the dice before I remove them.

Its the newer editions that ruined the game

@@willnox1from 5th on, before that it was great. Then TLOS and bad victory conditions moved in, along with blatantly unbalanced codexes.

I play Age of Sigmar, bit more casual and lots of fun! All the 40k players avoid it cause they can't handle the chance of double turn :D

Everyone knows its TJ, and he's already back playing in competitive tournaments, and no his results aren't as good now that he can't cheat so easily.

In their mind, winning is all that matters. It doesn't matter how, just that they do win. It makes them feel like a winner. They don't seem to realize though that when you cheat, you're admitting that you're a loser before the game even starts.

I guess I must be super lucky then, because all the WH regulars at my local gaming store are friendly, honest and supportive.

Either your just unlucky or getting the wrong idea from videos such as these. Most players are actually quite amenable to less completive games. When I play at a local game store or even a Games Workshop store I simply tell people "I'm running a super fluffy list and looking for a fun more narrative game. If you want a really competitive game I'm not your guy". I would say the majority of players are all for that. When playing locally if you see people waiting in line or calling "I got the winner" while some guy is waiting for an opponent. Its because that guy has a reputation and words travels fast. Now of course this is different from tournament play.
