Thank you very much for your video, it is simple, practical and very entertaining. I just subscribed to your channel and I was really waiting for this review as I am very curious how good this combat patrol will be. I am deciding between this or the Dark Angels combat patrol to play missions. Would you say the Blood Angel combat patrol is the most versatile because it gives me 3 different kinds of units and a transport or is the Dark Angels Combat Patrol still the better option? I am pretty new to 40k after more last playing 6th edition.
Hi! All in all both of the Boxes are Great starting points, Probably i would say, the dark angels one is a bit better in general. The Dark angels one has better Firepower and 2 Top Tier Units (Redemptor and the Inceptors). Its a Straight forward Big guns and Some Punches, It Lacks mobility and tricks, your only trick is to drop the inceptors guns blazin (, but its a neat trick ) :D The Blood angels one on the other hand is better Synergy and Monetary Value. Good mobility and nice combos -> Librarian with inceptors good survivability If you Build infiltrators -> Good defence and Protection against deepstrike (like the inceptors) If Incursors, you can buff your whole army's shooting. Transports are Great in this edition and Last But not least Aggressors are Strong as Heck. :D BUT there is a HUGE weakness besides the aggressors fists there are no real anti-tank weapon in your list so against Monster and Vehicles you can't do much. Sorry for this long answer. If you want to win by Obliterating the foes ---> Dark Angels Good Balanced gameplay with some tricks and synergies -> Blood angels IMHO the DA box wins competitive wise, butfor re learning purposes the BA better ( But later grab a Redemptor and the the BA is the clear winner :D ) I would like to thank your for watching and subscribing. I was playing with the points, and buying both BA and DA combat patrols will reach me at 880pts, I might just add Blade Guard to attach to the Chaplain and I am good for 1000pts!
@@TheJacqueswong :D Sounds Great, the Chaplain with a Bladeguard is a nice combo and a deadly cargo for the Impulsor. Also the Librearian can make the intercessors much more survivable against heavy weapons (both shooting and melee, so I'll think thats a Great Start!
Yeah I completely agree with you, it would be nice if one of those units could have been death company or something like that. Still all units are good, but generic.
