I started 40k at the beginning of 10th edition, i chose the Deathwatch... and spent over $5000 on 10,000 points of Deathwatch around 60-70% built.. and it seems i made a mistake lol....GW hates me
Yeah I completely agree with you, it would be nice if one of those units could have been death company or something like that. Still all units are good, but generic.
Hi! Yes I understand how does combat patrol games are working, but personally I do not recommend to build a models that way unless you only play combat patrol, these review are mostly for 40K matched play. Since many player starts with combat patrols I usually make reviews for the units inside the boxes. As far as I experienced not many player do WYSIWYG in combat patrol tournaments and events. Although your concerns are very valid and thank you for it. I will put something in the description as a disclaimer.
it's 430 points with pretty bad strats not a very good CP. Build the box for 40 K and if you want to play Combat Patrol just proxy all the worthless loadouts for your guys, put pennys on the basses for the guns you will not be using er whatever , best build is mostly chainswords and heavy bolter pistols , two power fists for the initiates and make sure to make couple rifles so you can use the assault keyword but get as many chainswords as you can.
Each time GW says AoS... i laugh in prediction how badly it gonna fail -> They killed FB to sell AoS models, and fail at it over and over. LONG LIFE TO FB!!!
I think what makss the Stormcast the most painful is these lines arent even a decade old in some cases entire armies and we have no idea if they will get the liberator treatment(new models look bad) or not because this is clearly the start of a rotation system which means not everything gets to come back
I don't hate it - I just feel like the could have taken this opportunity to put at least one DA unit in there like the new inner circle companions instead of the bladeguard. Still, I think this is fine for anyone looking to get back into the hobby and maybe wanting to get their first primaris units. This set actually pairs very well with the Blood Angels set that has a squad of Aggressors that can join your Gravis captain as well as a transport too. Throw in some infiltrators/incursors and a librarian and you've got yourself a respectable force to play with.
The stupidest thing in this situation is the сrazy people who are happy that “the neighbor’s house burned down.” All Warhammer games are made by the same Games Workshop. No Warhammer game is immune to bad and unpopular GW's decisions. That is, tomorrow the same thing will happen to what YOU love!
Yes you are absolutely right, tho in this case I'm a sinner too, I just hate those warcry warbands, Kill Teams and units all in all where were 13 models and had 7 weapons, 4 different wound amounts and 3 different movement values 3 abilities and 1 magic and they were all bad (this is a bit exaggerated obviously), but at least Cheap bodies on the table, they were/are kinda unhealthy for the game all in all. Although scrapping them was the worst possible thing that GW could do a rules tweak and let ppl have their stuff would be the best outcome IMHO.
I love how they chose the hallowed knights chamber as the 4th edition color scheme for stormcast while eliminating the sacrosanct chamber minis. Hallowed knights are a sacrosanct heavy chamber 🤷
I just got into AoS last year with a BoC vanguard. I really enjoyed the lore and worked hard on making flavor for my army, and I was even going to participate in the AoS league at my hobby store this month. All the interest I had in AoS has been destroyed at this point.
Sorry this happened to you and I completely feel you, it was almost like somekind of a scam, new models in form of the warband, also in the warcry teams, new foot hero with the codex, everything looked like the new wave of extremely cool models and units will arrive soon.... then complete and utter annihilation of the fractions.... I wanted a Beastman army so bad since the vermintide 2 Wind of magic.....
Yes I know!! I really liked the lore of the beasts in AoS too. Chaos spawned entities who hate all civilization and will destroy it at all costs! It's a problem with the universe of age of sigmar I think, it's too big and they aren't handling it's size properly. All of the realms are mapped out and so I think it can be daunting too have all the factions everywhere all the time. I think some people will say "you should have seen this coming" but I got into Warhammer generally in 2020 and AoS in fall of 2023 so I haven't really had the time to see what's going on with all the factions.

Maybe the Mordheim players buying so much of them or they will be migrated to ToW too you know just in gw style... make them good for 3-5 months so people buy the rest of the stock and THEN send them to the Shadowrealm.
Yepp :D it was in the description, that i play but never really made a video on that... Tho originally I wanted to make a Sigmar channel. My first video attempt was a Sigmar (tho its unlisted -> quality issue i couldn't approve it it wasn't good enought IMHO)
To make sure that you either do not get a Discount or that you have to buy 1-2 Box of Heavy Intercessors or Aggressors. Do not get me wrong those are especially good units right now, but the starter box SHOULD be a small but good Combo IMHO.

3:57 while not necessary I would recommend a deadlifting session a day or two prior to the event as I find it helps reduce the fatigue from standing up all day
I Support this :D since I started to work , the events and the tournaments are much less tiring phisically -> That leaves the brain with more capacity to think on the match instead of " ouch my xyz hurts " :D
