The Lord Solar was perhaps one of the most awarded General in the Imperial Guard and for good reason, for fought against many of the innumerable foes of the Imperium and brought the Light of the Emperor to nearly a thousand worlds, and though his conquest was short it is still remembered by many the Guard that any mortal man can and will conquer the Galaxy with Courage and Courage Alone.
I guess that's it then, *picks up sword and prepares for a battle I know absolutely diddly squat about*. That was an amazing speech, even for someone like me who is still trying to figure out this world. Awesome work 🫡! 🗡️🛡️
Beautiful, the reverb effect, the artwork and the speech. I wish sometimes our politicians would give rousing speeches like that filled to the brim with pathos and visions of grandeur. Then again there is no need for that in our world... Luckily I guess.
What I like about this speech is that it's similar to those done by actual commanders. Not a boast about how tough and terrifying they are, like how battle speeches are so often depicted in media, but instead one that reminds the guardsmen of why they fight, tells them of the dangers they shall face, but that they ultimately will overcome them and that the rewards of victory will be great.

So I love listening to warhammer lore. I listen to just about everyone and even audio readings but I've gone too long without knowing this channel was around. I can only assume you're a relatively young channel because your voices are second to none. With work like this the channel should become one of the major 40k lore masters. Love terminator armour voices especially, keep it up man

Macharius was the greatest general to ever live. I’d personally say his tactical brilliance rivaled that of the primarchs. The man fought hundreds of thousands of battles and only lost 1 because his right hand man betrayed him. Macharius hated being called a saint, but he truly was the hero humanity both needed and deserved. Regardless of how insanity took him in the end, the man was a legend, and I hope his successor in the new lord Solar live up to that beacon of hope in our darkest hour.

Dialog and speeches seem... faltering in 40k. Why would anyone need to be told not to show mercy to heretics and demons? Why would a Space Marine need to assure everyone all the time that they in fact, do not feel fear and it is a requirement to be an SM to not be physically capable of fear...
